Incredibly sweet, safe and sanitized second chance romance novella. The hero let the heroine go months ago because he was a workaholic. She turns up to notify him he will be a father, and that's all she wants from him.

The H goes into hyperdrive to convince her they should marry and that he loved her all along. His interaction with his new baby boy is so incredibly sweet it will make your teeth ache. The literary version of a Hallmark Channel movie.

P.S.
He has an engagement ring based on her

3.75 stars .

A little predictable but still good. Especially the heroine who had a backbone. She earned my respect when she said NO to hero’s fumbling marriage proposal. She also made him work for walking out on her. Hero wasn’t an A-hole just career minded. He groveled nicely. The description about Italy and the culture was well done. I loved the epilogue.
Writing style was also good.
Another author who just entered my list.
Recommended.

* * * * * 5 Star Review.

Savino Marin was all work and no play. A little over 8 months ago he walked away from Emily Trevathan, yet no matter how busy he was or how long had it been the minute his eyes land on Emily he his feelings come back for her. He never stopped loving her and he knew that was the biggest mistake of his life.

Emily Trevathan knew she had to do the right thing and let Savino know about the child she was about to have it was his child. Yet she knew that she couldn't go back to

This is a sweet romance, typical of Ms. Taylor’s style – which I happen to really like. Her books always draw me in and I love her wonderful stories. The Italian’s Christmas Baby was a typically good read. When Emily Trevathan decided she needed to share the news of her approaching childbirth with the father of her baby, she steeled herself against letting him get too close. After all, he’d broken her heart nine months earlier when he’d walked out on her after their three-week fling. Only now he

Love, baby, marriage

There are times in life when you are unsure of yourself. What should you do? Emily was at that point in life 8 months pregnant and still had but told the father. How would he react? Could there be a chance for them? Patience is what Savi had plenty of, at least he hoped he did to win back the love of his life.
