No Weddings #4

Three Christmases

Rate this book
As the holiday season approaches in this fourth book in the No Weddings Series, Cade Michaelson strives to be better at balancing work and love, and Hannah Martin’s growing ability to trust is put to the test.

Lust and friendship brought us together, but with the increasing demands of my two businesses, Hannah’s thriving bakery, and our successful event-planning company, stability becomes my focus.

Then a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity takes me to the West Coast, and everything goes into a tailspin.

Laughter, love, and excitement fill our lives, but Cade refuses to settle into the wonderful bliss we’ve found—he wants spectacular fireworks and an unshakable foundation. Driven like no one I’ve ever met, Cade insists a dream job across the country will be better for our future together, but I worry about whether we can survive the present apart.

When intimate time diminishes…and lives get more hectic…

Will a little bit of faith be all that it takes? Or will the sacrifice to get there be too great?

A perfectly satisfying ending to a lovely romantic series!

I'd had a problem balancing my life before. But things were different now.

Hannah came first. And she supported me. She'd encouraged me to chase my dream.

But sometimes, dreams became nightmares.
The end to any series is a bittersweet thing... As readers, we crave happily ever afters for characters we've come to know and love, but it's not always easy to let them go afterward.

I'm pleased to say I was quite satisfied Cade & Hannah's Grand Finale!

This book had all the emotion, romance, laughter, and steam which I've come to expect from this series and it certainly went out with a bang!

Cade and Hannah met at a New Years Eve party - the one that inspired the creation of their party planning business, Invitation Only - They went from friendship to non-dating to love over the course of a year, and now New Years Eve comes back around again...

Invitation Only has Holiday parties scheduled at a dizzying rate, so we're back to figuring out how to balance business with pleasure. With a few enormous new obstacles thrown in...

CADE
...I'd been a player who'd had girls' numbers on a sticky note list, a damaged man who'd buried himself into business and accomplishment just to be able to wake up each morning. This New Year's approached and I'd become a changed man, all because of one Ice Queen baker who'd melted my heart.
Cade will go down as one of my favorite Romance MCs - he is so open and honest. He's genuine, believable, and he loves Hannah with his whole heart.

Cade spent the previous book desperately trying to find a balance between his skyrocketing professional life and his personal time with the woman he loves. He finally adjusted his priorities and put Hannah first, but a surprise career offer threatens to unravel everything.

HANNAH
"Why is it every time you and I finally get our footing, some ghost from the past creeps out of the woodwork and haunts us?"
Hannah had finally reached a comfortable place in her life - she and Cade have a thriving relationship, her business is absolutely booming, she's more open socially, making and maintaining friendships, and the Michaelson Clan has welcomed her into their family with open arms.

She was at the top of the world when an email arrived from her estranged father (whom she has never met) - the email left her shaken, but it's Cade's career decisions which threaten to crumble her...

Other important changes happened with this book...
"...Running a worldwide corporation has never been on my radar."

"For the right price, any course can be altered."
The previous books focused on a single character's POV. Hannah was the voice of One Funeral, and Cade led us through No Weddings & Two Bar Mitzvahs. This book broke that mold of alternating POVs...

It was a risk to shift into a split POV for the final book in the No Weddings series, but it was absolutely worth it. I don't think the story would have held as much weight if the reader didn't have both POVs to carry us through.

As I said earlier, Three Christmases upheld the tradition of laughter and love from the previous books, and you'll be pleased to know that the sexytimes were superb...

For a series which had zero intercourse in its first book, The No Weddings Series really packed a punch in the bedroom...
and closet...
and back yard...
and kitchen...
and office...
and dressing room...

Not sorry in the least for my exemplary dressing-room conduct. I gave them a wide grin. "What's up girls?"

Kendall rolled her eyes. "Two women gossiped about how some woman got the ride of her life in the dressing room.

Kiki smirked. "Took half a second to realize Hannah had been intercepted."

Feeling smug, I glanced at Hannah whose olive skin had a beautiful pink blush. "She was intercepted spectacularly."

Shaking her head, Kristen turned, muttering under her breath, "Heathen."
I'll never look at a dressing room the same way again...

Or cake frosting for that matter!
*fans self*
Note to self: Get into a naked frosting fight with a baker immediately.

Well folks, there you have it. The No Weddings series was just fabulous. I loved every moment of it, and I hope you'll pick up the series and enjoy it as much as I did!

Hannah and Cade – I’ve followed their story through 3 other serials to get to this installment. They have come a long way from first meeting to non-dating to actual dating. I have enjoyed traveling with them through their love story and Three Christmases is no exception.

Things are going really smoothly for Hannah and Cade. They have worked out some of their major issues and dealt with a few trials along the way to be stronger than ever. But when Cade gets a job opportunity of a lifetime Hannah encourages him to follow his dreams even if it means he’ll be living 3000 miles away.

Watching the trails they face being separated seemed very true of what a young couple would face. Being away from the people you love is extremely difficult and while some couples can do it, that doesn’t mean it is for everyone. Cade must decide what he really wants the girls he has fallen in love with or the dream job.

This series is a great blend of adorable moments and sexy ones. I loved the times Cade and Hannah were together on page and you always knew that the problems they were having weren’t due to lack of love but logistics. I will say that the sacrifices each were willing to make to support the others dreams were great and just because one dream made more money it wasn’t more important.

Three Christmases wraps up this story so well. I loved where everything was at by the ending. If you like slow building relationships and fun flirty banter than this serial might just fit the ticket.

4 Family Star

Hannah and Cade have been through a lot over the past few months with them both getting over their issues from past relationships, from each of their ex's showing up and throwing their budding relationship off kilter. Now Cade is determined to make Hannah his first priority, to never take them for granted and to always make time for their relationship. But when a business opportunity takes him to the other side of the country and time together is at a minimum, things start to shift again.

Hannah's absent and unknown father reaches out to get to know her, which causes Cade's protective instincts to show up. He doesn't want her hurt again. Cade also has a hard time balancing the demands of his new position with spending much needed and wanted time with Hannah.

They both make drastic decisions to be together. Ultimately happy with each other no matter anything else.

I loved this ending. I also felt for Hannah. Having and absentee father for the majority of my life, I got the hesitation to let this DNA related person into her life. I so got the struggle Cade had with keeping a work/life balance. I've sacrificed a lot in my personal life to gain the where I want to be professionally. Basically this story spoke to me on a lot of levels. At the same time their relationship was sweet and I loved all the little things Cade and Hannah did for each other and how things turned out.

Imagine the most scrumptious dessert possible. Now picture yourself slowly savoring each bite. That’s the kind of "sappy perma-bliss” I felt throughout this book. Three Christmases is a decadently rich reading experience.
“Being totally whipped in love was a pretty great place to be.”
~ Cade

But as my copy of Three Christmases finally downloaded on my eReader, I was a bit hesitant to open it. Not because I thought it wouldn’t be good. The previous three books in the series cemented my opinion regarding the wonderful writing this dynamic duo are capable of. It was more of a nostalgic hesitancy. The kind you get at the end of the year or at the end of anything really good. I really wanted to experience Cade and Hannah’s epic happily ever after, but at the same time, I didn’t want my time with them to end.

And now as I’m writing this review, I have this great happy high. Because they did get their beautifully great ending, but I also know I’ll be putting them on my re-visit shelf. And revisit often I will. Aaand we still get the Valentine’s novella.

Cade and Hannah met, became business partners, then friends, non-dated, then officially became a couple that worked together to overcome past ordeals and pesky interruptions from the people who caused them.
“Why is it every time you and I finally get our footing, some ghost from the past creeps out of the woodwork and haunts us?”
“… I don’t care about anything as much as I care about you. The ghosts in our pasts can go fuck themselves. Because they won’t ever be an issue for us again. Dumbfuck turned out to be a speed bump. Selfish Bitch’s meddling was more like a multi-car pileup, but we survived it all.”

This wonderful couple has not only come out the other side, they’ve learned, grown and matured, individually and as an unseeingly unshakable team planning their future.
“Your future is calling.”
“Oh? My future? What does it look like?”
He is six-two, blue eyes, two hundred pounds of starving male, who can’t wait to make you smile, hear you moan, make you scream.”

But life is full of surprises and now it’s wedging a 3000 mile separation between them by offering Cade a dream job on the other side of the country.

I loved how Hannah was so supportive and selfless when it came to Cade and his dreams, even when it was so strenuous on their relationship. It’s genuinely rare for me to love a heroine almost as much as the hero. In this case I didn’t just like her character, I also liked reading about the couple through her.
“Cade?”
“Yeah?”
“Follow your heart. Do what you’re passionate about.”
“Will you be by my side when I do?”

My chest burned at the uncertainty in his voice. “Always.”

There are so many good things to say about Cade who now has a permanent spot on my top book boyfriends. “His trademark humor and a dash of naughtiness that warmed my insides.” I didn’t just enjoy reading about love through his very alpha male, quick and sharp psyche, I swooned at how he always maintained Hannah at the forefront of his thoughts and actions.
“Work and Hannah. The one, consulting, which honed my natural skills at seeing the big picture, shifting perspective, and advising on it, fulfilled a lifelong dream. The other—made the dream worth living.”

Together they blazed the pages with sometimes achy but mostly sweet and sexy exchanges while they labored through their very real struggles. Without a doubt, Cade and Hannah are one of my favorite couples.
“I love you, Cade. I’ll be here missing you every moment you’re gone and losing myself in you every second you’re back.”

There are so many things I love about this book and series in general I feel a list coming on... Here’s goes Reasons why you should read No Weddings:

1. Fan of friends-to-lovers romance? Cade and Hannah’s is a beautiful love story who develop a friendship first.

2. You won’t get bored with the “friends” thing because they have incredibly fun, sexy banter.
“Sour condiments suck. Give me sweet any day. And I’ll suck harder . . .” ~ Text from Cade to Hannah

3. Hannah is pretty much one of the most fun, lighthearted heroines ever
“The breadth of what I wanted from Cade finally hit me. I wanted the crazy skirt-lifting taunts and the closet escapades. I wanted the casual picnics in the park and the naked frosting battles.”

4. Cade is sooo sexy.
“I went to the pantry to retrieve the jar of chocolate sauce. By the time I turned around, he’d jumped on top of the kitchen island and had reclined back. For a split second, my breath caught. Like a Greek god carved by Michelangelo himself, Cade reclined on the slab of marble, sleek lines of muscle stretching from his legs to lean hips. Strong shoulders and corded forearms shifted as he turned to face me, revealing rippling abs that led to a dusting of hair. In the center of all that muscular beauty, arched the very thing I couldn’t wait to drizzle chocolate sauce on.”

5. Do you ever notice chapter titles? I do! And it’s so great when authors give us more than a number.
24 - Shopping Gone Wild
“She turned her head to the side to see the profile of us in the triple mirrors on the dressing-room wall. We looked sexy as fuck. Literally. Hard muscles flexing into supple curves.”

6. Like getting to know both main characters? No Weddings (vol.1) and Two Bar Mitzvahs (vol.3) are from Cade’s POV, One Funeral (vol.2) from Hannah’s and Three Christmases is from both!

7. Do you get the warm fuzzies when authors include good family values and great supporting characters? Just like Cade and Hannah, their friends and family and genuine and endearing. I adored Cade’s entire family, especially in this book when the rallied behind Hannah. I also hope the authors decide to write books for Kiki, Kendall, Ben and Mase. They each deserve their happy.
“Under his collected exterior, behind the man who chased his dreams and held our love tight, was a brother who needed his family and friends.”

8. Do you have and support a favorite charity? No? Not only do Kat and Stone talk about the real life Unity Foundation, part of all proceeds from their book sales go to this organization.

9. Is highlighting over half the book an indication that I liked a book? I love Kat & Stone’s writing style. Their descriptions evoke so many bright images as well as emotions that tend to be on the happy, swoony, lusty side. It reminds me of Stephenie Meyer’s writing and the way she hooked me into reading with it. The difference is that No Weddings is the adult’s version of swoon and Cade’s brilliance doesn’t come from sparkling in daylight but from his personality.

10. The romance will give you all the good feels, and big smiles.
“Go ahead, Maestro. Run. I will run after you. Always."
~ Cade

I obviously can’t say this enough good things. No Weddings is a must for any romance lover.
“Life’s about love. Love is about what you give—what you sacrifice. You do that? You got everythin’ you wanted but never realized.”

This book is the fourth in the No Weddings series. Standalone? You could try, it has really good recaps, but it’s best appreciate if read completely and in order.

Okay so I put off reading the “last” one of this series (theres a novella coming out for vday) because I was afraid it was going to be like every end of a series. They fall in love get married yay. But this novel brought the most to the table I would say of the entire series!
This book starts with Cade working across the us and hannah staying and running her bakery. Hannah soon discovers she needs to hire more members to stay afloat and Cade realizes he cant keep letting Hannah down with delayed flights and being away for so long.
This book is quite different because both characters POV this one and there are 2 bombs that go off that have Hannah and Cade fighting to breathe.
Hannah’s Biological Dad comes into the picture
Cade is being called more and more away from work
Hannah drops the bomb “ I can’t do this anymore “ – I cry and eat a jar of Nutella with My Russian Stripper and totally get mad at life for about an hour take a deep breath and continue

I still love Cade and Hannah’s … talks and their sex all over the place!
This story has :

Public Sex

Kendall rolled her eyes. "Two women gossiped about how some woman got the ride of her life in the dressing room.

Kiki smirked. "Took half a second to realize Hannah had been intercepted."

Loved, loved, loved Cade and Hannah's journey. Both were all about their jobs and thought they could have both UNTIL they were missing each other too much. Both of them realized at that point that without being together that their careers meant nothing.

I loved their journey to get to their last party, which Cade made into a special occasion for him and Hannah. If you didn't love Cade before that Christmas party you surely did after it.

5 easy stars...Ah, Cade and Hannah, I will miss you, but it's been a great ride! Love this series. Love their love. Cade is so cool. The inner workings of his mind fascinate me. Hannah could be a baby at times in the past, but in this book, she was strong. She did struggle at the end but with such good reason. Don't want to give spoilers, so I'll just say that the ending a so very well done. I'd read anything this author team writes...The ability to write the male POV and the female POV accurately really adds to the story. Contemporary romance at its best!

Three Christmases (No Weddings #4) by Kat and Stone Bastion

Cade and Hannah have finally found a sense of intimacy that outweighs any other obligations in their lives. Her bakery, his two businesses, nothing is more important to either of them than spending quality time together. Reveling in the love and connection to each other that they share as well as a hot steamy and at time adventurous sex life. With the holiday season upon them, they realize that balancing their growing relationship and their careers is trickier than they could have imagined. Hannah’s bakery becomes increasingly busy and Cade gets a once in a lifetime opportunity that takes him across the country to head up a large corporation on the West Coast. Splitting his time between his two homes is proving to be difficult; flight cancellations and flu bugs plague Hannah and Cade’s weekends together. Can they find a balance that works for them or will each have to sacrifice a part of themselves to be together? Will hearts be broken and dreams shattered for the sake of a once in a lifetime love. Or are the sacrifices too much for anyone to live with?

I would give this series an infinite amount of stars, since there is no option for that I guess I will give it FIVE “I can’t stop reading this series” STARS. Cade has proven to be the best male hero book boyfriend ever. I love how he always wants to do whatever it takes to make Hannah happy. But it is not just her; Cade is the kind of guy you can go to for help no matter what. He is there for his sisters, his parents, his friends and especially Hannah. So when he decides to take a job thousands of miles away from everything he knows he has a hard time adjusting.

“I miss being with you, Maestro. Holding you, wrapping myself around you. Being inside you. And after, just breathing with you.”

Hannah does her best to make him feel good about following his dreams. She is still working on her trust issues so the distance is weighing on her. Long distance relationships are tough and get even tougher when the universe cannot seem to cut them a break. In this installment, the authors switch POVs from Cade to Hannah and I love that. I felt Cade’s guilt for leaving Hannah behind with every word I read. I sensed Hannah’s sadness for not feeling like she could just leave a life she built to follow Cade’s dreams leaving her own to flounder.

“My heart beat strongly for him and would no matter where he was. “I love you, Cade. I’ll be here missing you every moment you’re gone and losing myself in you every second you’re back.”

“It was all about this. Not the parting of ways, but the uniting-with the force of two unleashed storms crashing together.”

In the end, for me this series is a journey of two people who found an instant connection, became friends and then built a strong bond through a physical and emotional attraction that will last a lifetime. I don’t want to give away too much, but there are twists and turns and many surprises for everyone. I cried at the heart wrenching phone conversations between Hannah and Cade when they couldn’t be together. When they did come together, I nearly saw steam coming out of my iPad as I read the very well written scorching hot sexy love scenes some in “semi-public closets”. This series is at the top of my list of romance novels, I highly recommend. It will be bittersweet for me to say goodbye to this great couple and fantastic series. Hopefully we can get a spinoff book or books with Cade’s single sisters and his friends Mase and Ben who are all great characters as well. I can’t wait for the next installment.

“What happens if I trip?” “My heart lurched again, and I sighed, kissing the top of her head.” I will always catch you when you fall.”

“Go ahead, Maestro. Run. I will run after you. Always”

*happy sigh*

Yep, perfect cute and fluffy end to a good series!

This is it, the last of the series. I am all done.
And looking back it was awesome. More importantly the last instalment, though not my favorite was really good.
I found it was the best written actually.

This is written in Cade and Hannah's POV. Which is a really nice change. And make loads of sense as the storyline progresses.
The storyline has some rather out there things happen, well it's a novel after all. Then again, I kept on thinking, that so unrealistic. Though we are talking schematics like pay checks to be honest. But Cade and Hannah are facing difficulties that I personally have had to face in my own marriage. So could I relate?! HELL YEAH.
Though some of the things were more rom-com cliche others in this book were so real so tangible that I kinda didn't care much about the rom-com or unrealistic pay-checks too much. A bit of eye rolling is a good exercise for my peepers, I got lots of books too read after all.

This was also the best paced in my opinion. Still a wee bit too detailed at times, but I enjoyed the flow of the story line the most. In fact I think each book was written a tiny bit better. Which in it self, is fabulous.

My favorite part about this however is the character building, again. But this time, while I adore Cade, we established that in the last book, the thing that struck me most was the relation ship between Hannah and Cade. Their little jokes, private conversations, shared innuendos... and this is why in my opinion the wait over four books to get the the very satisfying ending.

A great ending to a wonderful series.
I can only recommend the series to lovers of the genre, especially if you looking for something a wee bit different.

Three Christmases couldn’t have been a more perfect ending for Cade and Hannah. We’ve followed Cade and Hannah as they met, became friends, fell in love, and overcame obstacles and now their relationship is put to its biggest test, distance. I love the way this couple handled everything as Cade took a job across the country. Hannah was so supportive and Cade did his best to put Hannah and their relationship first, but that doesn’t mean things go smoothly. They both have to figure out what they really want for their future. My heart ached as they dealt with the distance but the love that shined through always gave me hope and in the end my heart was happy. In this book, we get Cade and Hannah POV's, which was a nice change of pace from the books before, I think the POV changes in this series has kept it engaging. The No Weddings Series is one of the best I have read that follows one couple. Cade and Hannah are both lovable characters, the storyline is real and entertaining, and the banter is fun and witty. I’m going to miss this couple, along with their friends and family, but luckily I still have a Valentine’s novella to look forward to!

My review:

This is the 4th book in the No Weddings series and thank GOD there is a novella. I really have enjoyed reading about Cade and Hannah throughout these books.

After the events of the last book, Cade knows more than anything that Hannah is his world and everything should revolve around her - not the other way around. But, life happens and opportunities of a life time present themselves. I loved how Hannah supported Cade no matter what. She wanted him to chase his dreams, even though SHE was his dream and in the end she was all that mattered. I loved how in the end, both of them were willing to (and did) give up their dreams to just be together and there was no question. I absolutely LOVED the ending -

I have to say though, after EVERYTHING - I wanted more! I want some babies damn it! So I am going into this novella with HIGH hopes! Do not let me down people!! LOL

Three Christmases is another winner from Kat & Stone Bastion. I am completely in love with this series and can't say enough good things about it. Three Christmases is book 4 in the No Wedding series, and is probably my favorite so far. The cover is a real eye catcher and makes me want a print copy really bad. The ending was absolutely perfect and literally took my breath away. After I had my aww moment, I was squealing for joy. No Weddings indeed :)

Hannah and Cade show a lot more growth as they work on their future together, only obstacles come up, where they have to live apart. Hannah and Cade have to be one of my all time favorite fictional couples. The reason why they are a favorite, is because they go through real struggles. Struggles that normal people have to face. They are not perfect and they both make mistakes, but they eventually acknowledge their mistakes and move on to be better.

Whoever hasn't read this series, needs to correct that right now! This series is one of the best out there, and everyone should experience Hannah and Cade for themselves.

Another fabulous story from Kat Bastion. Cade and Hannah are such amazing characters. So Cade decides to take on the job opportunity of a lifetime with the one catch, it is 3000 miles away from Hannah. I love the fact that Hannah let him pursue his dream and this is something i believe even real life relationships suffer. So fast forward a few weeks Hannahs biological dad finally finds her and wants to meet her but not without its challenges. The distance starts to have a strain on the relationship and so now Cade and Hannah have to make the ultimate choice on where they stand and what the future will be for them. I loved this particular book, it was well written the story flowed at a great pace. The story reflected a little about my own past and how i struggled as well with the choices in a long distance relationship and the key things that are important or should be in the forefront. I definitely need a Cade in m life.

Say it with me....Awwwwww! That's how I felt almost the whole book! We get split Cade/Hannah POV this book and it's done wonderfully. In this fourth story on Cade and Hannah we get plenty of smiles and laughs, some heartwarming moments and lots of wonderfully hot sexy times. Cade and Hannah are seriously one of my favorite book couples, and this book just solidified that more. Cade, man do I need a man like Cade Michaelson, was just so absolutely sweet and amazing this book; I won't spoil any of it for you but just queue the aww sound effect. I loved this story and the epilogue was perfect, I am curious to see what these two choose to do in their futures but I can assume it will be amazing. This should definitely be added to your to read list!

Sometimes when a man goes off on a trip all he wants when he returns is his woman, "I picked up my bag and let her lead us toward the parking garage. "No. I'm seconds away from filthy-as-eff actions. You. Me. The nearest wall. A sturdy counter." Cade that boy is not bashful he pees when his woman is in the bathroom, "he flushed, then washed his hands, completely at ease with his nakedness. Then he wrapped his arms around me and kissed my temple. "How about a big breakfast to keep those pills from rotting a hole in your stomach?...." Although I enjoyed this one, I didn't like it as much as the others, obviously the couple is growing and more issues are arising and they're trying to figure out how they're going to fit in each others lives, but I liked the more carefree attitude they had in the last one.

This morning as I was reading this book I wondered if it was the last of this series. Then I saw a post on FB from Kat and Stone and there is at least one more. WHEEE! Most of Cade and Hannah's troubles were addressed in the previous 3 books so I wondered what would happen in this one. Hannah has always wanted a family. Her' s have all passed away. Then she gets a surprise letter from someone who says he is her father. Does she meet him or ignore the letter and move on? Read the story. Cade has a dilemma when he is offered an international job. Will he take the job and leave Hannah alone in Philly? Read the book. Now they have to work 3 Christmas parties. Please give this book a chance. Kat and Stone have amazing people in their books. I hope they keep writing more stories. Enjoy this book! I have this book for an honest 6 review for NetGalley'

First of all, I want to start with this, "The No Weddings Series has to be one of my top favorite series this year!" Hannah and Cade are up there in my favorite couples category too. This series has made me smile, laugh, worry, swoon and smile again and again. Reading this last book in the series was bittersweet for me. I had my own idea of how I wanted this spectacular series to end but Kat and Stone's idea was better. And, I truly loved it.

The story of Cade and Hannah is one that I admire. Throughout these four books, their relationship has developed, intensified and thrived. This last book presents new challenges for the couple. Of course, these challenges are what makes these characters so real. Life isn't always perfect. Obstacles once again blur their future. Hannah deals with meeting her father and Cade deals with a promising business opportunity. Both of their lives become more complicated but their love, even with this new long distance hurdle remains strong.

Just like in the other three books, the sisters and their party planning business remain part of their lives. In this book, three unique Christmas parties are in the works. I have enjoyed the party planning since it has brought so many entertaining moments to this series.

This book is written in both Hannah and Cade's point of view, so getting inside each of their minds has been a sweet treat. Their sexy banter along with Cade's ..... sexy as fuck, well you know, use of condiments (And, if you don't, get to it! Read this series NOW!) continues making this another 5 star read. Be prepared for funny moments too. Dressing rooms and closets can be quite interesting.

It was wonderful to read and witness how this couple grew from that first party when Hannah was just the "Ice Queen and Cade was a player.

"Last New Year's. I'd been a player who'd had girls' numbers on a sticky note list, a damaged man who'd buried himself into business and accomplishment just to be able to wake up each morning. This New Year's approached, and I'd become a changed man, all because of one Ice Queen baker who'd melted my heart."

Well, I am not going to give away the ending but I have to tell you, It is soooo good! Cade never ceases to amaze me and is indeed an amazing planner. Swoon...

"Why'd you toss out your rule?"

Rolling halfway onto her, I gave her a lazy smile. "You are the exception to every rule."

Cade's sisters are awesome. I would love to read more about them in the future.

Three Christmases is a 5 star read!

Congrats again to this dynamic writing duo on a marvelous series!

I can't wait to read the novella, For Valentine's.

"Three Christmas" by Kat Bastion and Stone Bastion

Book Description....

"As the holiday season approaches in this fourth book in the No Weddings Series, Cade Michaelson strives to be better at balancing work and love, and Hannah Martin’s growing ability to trust is put to the test.

Or will the sacrifice to get there be too great?"

What I liked about this novel....

This was a beautiful series that I have enjoyed reading by these two authors. There will be a lots happening in this series. From Hannah learning of her father...then her boyfriend Cade is offered a international job far away....will he leave Philly? And now we have from this read three Christmas parties. I will say to truly understand it all you must read the first two novels before reading this one, so I wouldn't recommend this one for a standalone read. These authors have really worked their magic in giving the reader a good read of "Three Christmases" of how Cade will make this holiday into a very special occasion for the both of them. This has been some journey with Cade and Hannah realizing finally that being together was more important than their careers. I thought these authors did a wonderful job with this well written story with this long distance relationship that wasn't a smooth ride as was showed in each on the main characters POV. With "Three Christmases" the reader with get some very good lovable characters, a real entertaining and real story that will be filled with wit and humor. Would I recommend this series? YES!

Three Christmases, Kat Bastion with Stone Bastion
Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews
Genre: Romance,Contemoporary
If you’ve read the first books you’ll know what you're getting from this series, fun, humour, light on the surface but with a deeper message in the story. To me this one emphasises the way people have to adapt in a successful relationship and work out what their priorities are.
One again there’s some great witty lines, mouth-watering cakes, and stunning parties from Invitation Only. My mind boggles at what events such as this must cost...but it’s great to dream, and I guess for some people this is reality. One day ... Of course there’s reminders to about the charities the books support, the ones in the story are fictional, but all of these books support a real life anti slavery charity. Sad there’s a need in this century but its real and does need our help and details can be found on the authors websites.
I don’t know how this team keep coming up with such great stories, they’re not heart stopping drama, tear-jerking type romances, but a gentler type, more in line with what's real, and I love every body in them from the wonderful Cade and Hanna, to friends Lila and the crew of Hannah’s cake company ( which I’m ashamed to say I’ve forgotten the name – bad me, and I've given myself a slap!) If you want a fun read, one to take you out of todays problems and escape into a world of glitter and parties, problems and solutions love and some sensual sexting along with a few scorching love scenes ( Cade’s a Lover, he doesn’t do Sex he makes love!) then read this series and you’ll love it – you laugh and feel a bit tearful too and its like meeting old friends picking up this book. Everyone needs a Cade in their life and if Stone is anything like him then Kat’s a lucky lady!

I am loving how this series hits all the notes of a relationship. Not just the initial phases of infatuation or lust, but the "how do we make this work" parts of integrating another person's hopes, dreams and reality into one's own.

Cade and Hannah have been dating several months now. They have jobs, which they work separately, and the event planning business Cade runs with his sisters, and Hannah. It seems that all is going well, even though Cade's consulting is taking him away from home more and more frequently. While reunion lovin' is fun, it's also super hard on a fledgling relationship to have so much distance. And both Cade and Hannah are feeling the lack.

Then, Cade's offered a staggering amount of money for a management position. Problem? The company headquarters are in San Francisco. Hannah wants him to follow his heart, as she would do, and he takes it. Reduced to weekend visits, their relationship suffers further strain.

Thing is, Cade and Hannah keep saying they value the other more than anything--so doesn't that include their careers? Kinda. Looks like a new work/life balance is in order!

This book has less steam, but more of it happens in the wild...expect some (nearly) voyeuristic trysts. And, expect a good deal of soul-searching in absentia. With all this solitary time on their hands, Cade and Hannah have a lot of space to figure out their real motivations. And, it ends in an HEA.

Cade and Hannah have a truly unique relationship. One that works. They put each other first. It is just beautiful to see.

This is book #4 in the No Weddings series, and while I read it without reading the previous 3 - I find myself wishing I had the other books. I plan to buy them today. When you read this book you will see what I mean. It is a good stand alone book, I just felt myself wanting to know more about them as a couple.

Cade works at this relationship, and you can see that throughout the book. As different work opportunities pull them thousands of miles away from one another - - it stresses and takes its toll on the relationship that means so much to him.

Hannah, starts to feel the cracks and it makes her more stressed too. She relies on the family and friends that she has through Cade. She also does not want him to miss such an incredible opportunity that is at his feet.

Together they face all the obstacles that come toward them and ultimately have to decide how they can keep their relationship strong. I was impressed with the dedication both Hannah and Cade put to this relationship. There was good banter, sexy fun, and a lot of real life scenarios thrown in. GOOD READ!!

I received an ARC copy through NetGalley for review.

Another great installation into the No Wedding series. I cannot believe how fabulous this story was. I got the happy ending I wanted for Cade and Hannah. They totally took me by surprise when they both gave up their dreams for each other...that is love! I love that they took five long months non-dating before having sex and becoming an official couple. I enjoyed watching their growth through Dumbfuck (Hannah's ex), Selfish Bitch (Cade's ex) and being miles apart from one another. They fought for each other constantly and even though they each had moments of doubt they pulled through.

This book left with so many great feelings that I can't help but smile that I have a few more pages to read in the For Valentine's novella. I mean Cade and Hannah have always been perfect together in my eyes. What I thought was another monumental moment, besides them giving up their dreams for each other, was when Hannah's father Paul contacted her. That was just absolutely perfect to have him pop into her life and to know that he always wanted to be, but was blocked by her mother.

This whole series is just amazing. Kat and Stone Bastion have created such a profound series that I'm sure many people can relate to. Broken individuals who come together and form such a treasured bond. Amazing series!

Wonderful,ending to a great series!
Cade and Hannah business have become wonderfully successful and Cade is determined not to let business get in the way of his relationship withhannah again it nearly cost him Hannah once. Cade's consulting business has him traveling all over the world and the event planning business with his sisters and Hannah Invitation only is taking off and s is Hannah's bakery that time has become a premium, a job offer to Cade which gives him everything he is working toward falls into his lap, the one drawback it is on the west coast and Hannah is in Philidelphia .
Hannah insist he follow his dream, after all he encouraged and supported her dream of building her bakery shop into a notable and profitable business , they will make it work.

They try hard to make it work , but roadblocks keep getting in the way.
Will these two work it out; will, someone have to sacrifice a dream, but what good is a dream if the one person you want to share it with is not with you?

I absolutely loved these two characters and this story ! It reminded me a bit in the end of the " Gift of The Magi"
Highly recommend this whole series!

I didn't think this series could get any better. I was so very wrong.

After making it through both of their pasts, Cade and Hannah are stronger together than ever...but the success of both of their professional lives may just be what makes everything unravel.

Anyone who has done the long-distance thing will tell you it's hard. Unbelievably hard. And there's only just so much that calling, texting and emailing can do-an unhappy fact that Cade and Hannah get to find out firsthand in Three Christmases. But if you want to see how two people who are meant to be together handle it, this is the perfect example.

The tension ramps back up with all of the time they have to spend apart, and the always exceptional writing, insanely strong and loving characters, and continuing humor-as well as that tension-are going to keep you glued to the pages...again. Meaning, clear your schedule because you will NOT want to put this book down.

The relationships are complicated, the drama intense, the fun banter ever-present...and it all adds up to a fantastic ending and an amazing series that you'll want to re-read again...and again...and probably again.

Another well-deserved 5-stars for the unputdownable Three Christmases!

A copy was provided by Netgalley for an honest review.

I absolutely love this series. Everything from the closet escapades to burlap sack dresses to cute texting to the chapter titles made this series a must read. What started out as fun foreplay between two relationship weary people has become a beautiful playful partnership. Hannah and Cade are so honest and playful in their love for each other, they are the example of what I hope to find someday.

I enjoyed reading every word of this series even when Cade made bad choices. I must be honest, I really wanted to strangle Cade in the first half of Three Christmases. After his epiphany at the end of Two Bar Mitzvahs, I was mad at his acceptance of his new job. But in true Cade and Hannah fashion, they ended up stronger than ever at the sweet end of Three Christmases.

This is a series I will pull out over and over again when I need a sweet and funny pick-me-up.

I'm new to the No Weddings series, so I don't know Cade and Hannah's back story, but this book sucked me in! The perfect book to start my holiday season. I laughed, I cried, I got hot under the collar, and I cheered for them. Characters in books become real to me if written properly and these are real. They have real emotions, real problems, and real feelings.

This installment brings us the story of Hannah and Cade. They both were broken but have found each other. Life takes them away from each other in the terms of jobs. Hannah owns a bakery, her dream. Cade is a consultant, and is offered a dream job on the other side of the country. This is the story of how they realize what they have and what they can be.

Thank-you for such a wonderful tale. I am going to have to read the first 3 books now and look forward to more. If you are looking for a wonderful Christmas Romance here you go!

The journey Cade and Hannah have taken has been exciting, scary, and emotional. They've had exes stir it up, endured long distance and found new bonds. Doesn't matter what flies their way it always works out. Cade is a renaissance man true to his woman and full of many talents. When things fail and she struggles with life Hannah doesn't whine about it. She's gotten stronger over the year and learned to trust again. This series could end here with everything wrapped up in a bow, but I believe a Valentine's novella is in the works. The love story of my new favorite couple has been a pleasure to read. It takes an artist to create a beautiful story, but they've gone further and given beautiful details about Invitation Only events. Thank you for my review copy through Netgalley.

Read my full review on Book Bumblings

I just wrote a review for another book where I had to mention that my review for the last book in a great series is usually the worst, since my expectations have been built up so high. Well, congratulations to Kat and Stone Bastion, because very rarely do I enjoy the final book just as much as the first one. It’s a very short list filled with my all-time favorite authors.

And when the book falls short, it’s not the author’s fault, it’s my own for building it up so much in my head. But I managed to build Three Christmases up pretty damn high and not have my expectations knocked down.
