I enjoyed this. The premise of the story is simple enough. Eighth grader Billy McIntyre finds a book about necromancy (messing around with the dead) and performs a spell which reanimates a corpse just enough to turn it into a zombie. He uses this zombie to enact revenge on elderly couple in the neighbourhood who he feels have wronged him. Everything goes according to plan. Or does it?

Billy, after all, is something other than a necromancer. He 'daylights' as a schoolboy, and one of his classmates

Great zombie tale for the very young to the young at heart!!!

"Billy's Zombie" is a very entertaining short zombie tale! This is the perfect zombie novella for children of pretty much any age; and as an adult I can say that it is just as entertaining for the young at heart as well.

Way too short...I wanted it to be a little longer (not too much since I was looking for a short story)...it was that good.

Very simple fictional short story focused on a bullied kid.

Based on the title, I was expecting lot from the book. But it turned out to be entirely different.
Since I expected lot, couldn't digest what the story delivered!

Moreover, the story is too short. Author could have tried to make it a bit lengthy.
It ended in a jiffy !!

If I had read it without any expectation, I might have enjoyed more...!
