From writer Imy Santiago comes the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning novel chasing Reese.

Hope Breeds Life...

Sometimes destiny and fate have a weird way of reminding us of our inescapable vulnerability, but more importantly our inexorable humanity. Life is fleeting, and what little time we have left in this world, we must make do with what we have, and cherish those whom we love by our side.

Fresh back from the Jackson Reese Press Tour, sports journalist Catalina Pardo rushes back to British Columbia after receiving unexpected and distressing news. With the help of award winning photographer Stryder Martynus, Catalina is determined to prevent the news of tragedy and heartbreak from governing her life again.

Together they will embark on a new journey of introspection to overcome the ghosts and raw emotions of their pasts−on a long and unpredictable road full of complicated circumstances−to find healing, hope and salvation.

The smallest of gifts−like a friendship bracelet−have the power to save your life, and unlike fairy tales, happy endings are seldom guaranteed...

Writer's Review.

In chasing Reese. I introduced the two main characters of the SAFELIGHT universe: Catalina Pardo, a sports journalist who loathes the snow, and Stryder Martynus, an award-winning photographer with a heart of gold. Joining the cast of characters in a supporting role is the larger than life, Olympic gold medallist and world snowboarding legend, Jackson Reese. When these three characters are put together, love grows in its beautiful splendor; for love is not just passionate or filial, it is also life-changing and ever-growing.

finding Reese. is the second chapter in the SAFELIGHT novels. We get to experience, pretty much in real time, how passionate love blossoms between the two main characters. Love is not always cookie-cutter or perfect, and solid relationships require time and dedication to flourish, because in real life we struggle; whether it's with insecurities, or doubts, or poor decision making. I tried to keep the growth of Catalina and Stryder's passionate relationship as realistic as possible. There's always that "honeymoon" phase between two people, and with time love evolves, and things can definitely change. And when we're in love, we often say "I love you" more than once.

In finding Reese. we encounter our worse possible fears, including death, and how all three characters decide to move on from events that have the power to alter all three of their destinies. In finding Reese. we get to see a deeper glimpse into Jackson's thought processes, and see a side of him no one, not even himself was expecting. Despite his go-getter attitude, he knows he needs time to heal, to recover both emotionally and physically from tragedy, and as Jackson falls into the deepest pits of despair, it is love what ultimately heals him. The best is yet to be seen for this supporting character who has been embraced by all, and Jackson's journey is far from over, and you will find the answer as to why the novels have Jackson's surname on them.

In this 94K word novel you will experience a plethora of emotions, for like in chasing Reese., I will take you on a journey full of heartbreak, sorry, recovery, and ultimately, freedom. The Trifecta shows us that love is not jealous or unkind, and "... where one goes, the others follow."

I can't wait to read your thoughts. Happy reading.

STOP PRESS.......... HOLD THE FRONT PAGE....... Imy Santiago has done it AGAIN !!
What an absolutely amazing follow up to Chasing Reese this was !!
If you thought Chasing Reese was an avalanche of emotions then get ready, this one is equally as amazing !! You'll need your tissues again for this book as not only will you cry with laughter you'll also cry with sadness too. This book really pulled me in with the emotional aspect of it and at times i wanted to throw my kindle in anger at some of the things which happened. Such a heart warming love story, where you can feel the love and passion that Cat & Stryder have for each other oozing off the pages, and also the love they have for Jax too.

First of all...I want to say I loved this book. It's the second book to the Safelight Series with Chasing Reese as the first.

Chasing Reese was good...actually it was amazing. But Finding Reese is something altogether different. It's warming and intimate and sappily romantic with a nice dose of realism I fully appreciate. (Which is a really good thing!)

As I continued to read about Catalina, Stryder and Jackson, whom I adored right from the beginning, I found that I fell even deeper in love with them. In Chasing Reese, I felt somewhat distant when it came to the inner workings of Stryder, but let me assure you here and now, you will get to know the inner workings of that man unlike anything you could possibly expect. His love for Cat is so pure and honest, it gave my belly flutters and tugged at my heart. (I love feeling emotional when I read and often look for authors who can make me feel emotional - Imy Santiago has in no way disappointed me!)

Throughout this novel, you work through the emotional devastation that are the feelings of someone who is plagued by the loss of friends who have become family. Through Jackson, you experience the aching that is loss. Along with that hurt, there is blame. Cat, Stryder and Jackson work as a trio to save what is left of Jackson's very soul after the loss and blame that torments him. Friendship deepens, forgiveness blooms and love thrives as you turn each and every page.

When Stryder is called away for work, Cat and Jackson being the deviant planners that they are cook up a surprise...but little do they expect that the very surprise they planned can be turned around on them.

Oh my...Stryder's reaction... it left my mouth hanging open. In a way, I wanted to smack him, but I also kind of sort of wanted to plant a big kiss on his cheek. :) (I say cheek because my heart belongs to Jackson...and speaking of Jackson...p.s. that ending...)

Anywhoo...if you're looking for a book that breathes passion, longing, friendship and loss...look no further. You have stumbled upon something great!

"It's scary to think that you can trust someone with your heart at the risk of it being broken, but at the same time, imagine; if you don't take the chance, you'd never discover the joy of finding real love." - Catalina <3 (There are no truer words)

WOW!!!! was one of the first words that entered my head after reading this!!! I was extremely honoured to receive an arc for this!
After reading Chasing Reese (book1) I fell in love with the characters but now I love them even more!!
Catalina and Jackson Reese form a very strong bond and close friendship in book1 they just seem to 'get' each other on a level that no one else does.
Jacksons best friend and photographer Stryder and Catalina fall in love, with much previous heartache for Cat her losing her fiance and unborn baby in a car accident years ago love is the last thing she wants or expects!!
she thinks everything she loves will be taken from her so when Jackson and his crew get caught in an avalanche she automatically thinks the worst!!
Will they manage to get to Jackson in time???? the avalanche has already claimed lives, so time is not in their favour!
This is a beautifully told / written story and it will stay with me forever!!! So for that I thank the author Imy Santiago for this truly fantastically brilliant story! I love love love this and Im very much looking forward to the next book!!

I don't even know where to start. This book was a brilliant continuation of book one; and not only because of the massive cliffhanger we were left with in Chasing Reese. The struggles of each character felt so real and heart wrenching. I wanted to reach through the pages and hug Jackson so many times. And Catalina and Stryder's relationship was tested, and as nerve wracking as it was, I loved it! I love that things weren't easy and smooth sailing during this book. It made it so much more real. And even though we weren't left with a killer cliffhanger again, we were still left with one enticing enough to make me want the next book asap. If I could see these books on the big screen, I'd be a happy girl.

After reading Chasing Reese, Imy's first book, I eagerly and patiently awaited Finding Reese, the sequel. I was not disappointed. Imy is a fantastic writer. Her mastery of dialog fleshes out these wonderfully flawed characters. The naturalness of their verbal responses to each other reminds me of my own friends. Indeed, these characters have become my friends. I've cheered their victories, cursed their jealousies, empathised with their insecurities -- overall I took them into my heart. This was truly an emotional and satisfying read. I look forward to the final book in the trilogy.

My Review

I read both books in this series in less than 48 hrs!

Yes, I got addicted that I am now up on 2 hrs sleep from being totally entrapped into this amazing  beautiful series written by Imy Santiago!

Within the 1st couple of pages of book#1, Chasing Reese. ,  I was already crying and  not being able to read fast enough!  I instantly absorbed myself into the world of Catalina Pardo, Stryder(Jupiter) Martynus & Jackson Reese.

I really enjoyed that we got the POV from all of these characters and were never left wondering what one was thinking.  The transition back and forth from each character was well written and had me reading this series with ease.

This series is full of love, tragedy, drama, hot sexy times that steamed up the pages.  Also I love that Jackson is a professional Snow Boarder.  I pictured one of my hottie Gingers I love as him! Being a Cali girl for years, I totally got into watching the sport and while reading this book, it brought back many happy memories of my snowboardingloving days! Thanks Imy!

To say I fell for Stryder hard..... psh!  He totally had me swooning! I mean come on!!  IF I met a man like Stryder, I would never let him leave my house!! MINE! Damn he takes  hearts and flowers to a new level!

100% bet you will fall for Stryder immediately and want to find him in real life!

I really enjoyed how these three characters relationship with one another is such a strong bond no matter what is going on in their lives.

Finding Reese. was an excellent followup to Chasing Reese.  We get more of Jackson in this book and see how Stryder and Catalina relationship grows.

I highly recommend reading this book!

A Must Read Series!

I received an ARC of Finding Reese from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is by far the BEST book I have read so far this year! I wish I there was more than 5 stars to give because this book is way beyond the rating on a 1 to 5 stars

Imy Santiago is one hell of an author all though she says she is a writer. I for one disagree she is one of my favorite AUTHORS of all time.

Finding Reese continues off where Chasing Reese ended so you MUST read Chasing Reese first. If you haven't go get it because it is freaking amazing.

I have read 2 books since reading this and I still have the story in my head.. I am late getting my review up because of computer issues but at last here it is.

Catalina and Stryder are still trying to over come many issues that were brought up in book one (Chasing Reese) Their love and chemistry is off the charts.. it just jumps of the pages, and makes you feel what they feel.

Jax goes through hell in this book, We are introduced to the girl he has been in love with for years but she is a butterfly and likes to be free. We are introduced to another character Ashley in this book who catches Jax's eye and let me tell you I root for her, she is a single mother and she would be perfect match for Jax (hint to Imy...make this happen)

You will cry a lot while reading this book, I bawled...ugly cry. You will laugh. You will just feel every emotion possible. This series is a must freaking read. The writing is absolutely Brilliant, the way if flows and makes you feel is AMAZING!!

I am so ready for book 3 (Saving Reese)

Just to throw out there JAX IS MINE.. I will share Stryder but not my JAX

some of my favorite quotes and parts from this book are:

** My mind replays memories of my life like a movie, and bitter frustrated tears stream down my face, crystalizing quickly as the freezing cold sweeps over me. I always feared dying like this, trapped in the place I love the most, in the Snow**

**Stars...They shine bright in the night sky, and they are constant, always twinkling, even when we can't see them. Catalina, you are my bright North star, and I know I will never get lost because you will always guide me home.**

**"Sometimes destiny and fate have a weird way of reminding us of our inescapable vulnerability, but more importantly our inexorable humanity. Life is fleeting; and what little time we have left in this world, we must make do with what we have and cherish those whom we love by our side."**

** Sometimes we make sacrifices for the greater good, and its in those sacrifices we show what we're made of and what we are capable of accomplishing**

** "Do you like chocolate Mr. Reese?" 'On my stuff? Yeah I sure do."**

**"I'M FREE"**

"Listen to me, brother. You can't do this to yourself" I command, using my shoulders to dry the teas that fall from my eyes. "You're alive for a reason, Jax"

"The world could crash down around me and I wouldn't give a damn. Right here, right now is where I want to be; lost in my lady's embrace."

It is a rare book that can have you smiling from beginning to end because you can’t help yourself. Catalina, Stryder and Jax are portrayed in such a way that by the time you’ve finished the book, you feel like you’ve caught up with family members. They’re vivid, wonderfully depicted characters that face challenges that can cripple and maim but together, these three persevere and you find yourself cheering the entire time for everything to be all right.

Finding Reese is book two in the Safelight series and is a direct continuation of Chasing Reese, book one so if you haven’t read (OMG why not?!), pick that up first or risk spoilers. The chapters are told in the POV of one of the three main characters which I loved since we glimpses into each of the characters thoughts and works so well.

In the end of book one, Jax has been buried in an avalanche of snow and Catalina and Stryder are frantic, praying that their friend has come out of it alive. With the help of a gift from Catalina, they realize that their friend is alive and Jax is rescued but not without costs. Jax suffers a severe case of PTSD and a multitude of physical injuries. Catalina and Stryder struggle to keep their friend and brother from tipping over the edge of a cliff that he won’t be able to return. Jax suffering had me to the point of tears at times with how much he suffered, especially emotionally, having survived and wondering “why me?”

Throughout all this, Catalina and Stryder are having their own crisis. They are passionately in love in love with one another but both are scared of what the future holds. Catalina, having her husband and child ripped from her life four years ago, never thought she feel the type of love that she has for Stryder. Stryder, after having been burned by his ex-wife Olivia, Jax sister, never thought he’d allow someone into his soul. Their path won’t be an easy one but their story is told so beautifully, I wish I can rewind to the moment before I started the book, just so I can experience it again. Pick this up and experience, not read, but experience, this amazing book.

"Sometimes destiny and fate have a weird way of reminding us of our inescapable vulnerability, but more importantly our inexorable humanity. Life is fleeting; and what little time we have left in this world, we must make do with what we have and cherish those whom we love by our side."

The easy to read writing style makes you forget you have spent an entire novel, in three people's heads, sharing their dreams and deepest emotions. It's only when you stop reading and feel emotionally drained, you realise how realistic and beautifully written this story is.

Complex characters are believable and underscore the story's message of friendship and love. There is laughter, companionship, love and poignant sadness and a multitude of other feelings all seen through the eyes of Catalina, Jackson and Stryder. All three characters have outgoing almost celebrity roles, yet there true personalities hide loss, fear and addictive behaviour from the world.

The vocabulary is contemporary but the friendship, romance and sensuality, timeless. Perfectly paced, there is enough action to hold the interest, without detracting from the characters' introspection, which is the story's mainstay.

The love scenes between Catalina and Stryder are sensual but retain the romance and enhance the couple's deepening feelings for each other. Jackson Reese remains an enigma. I look forward to seeing his character in love.

'finding Reese', is an excellent sequel to 'chasing Reese'. More reflective than the action packed first story in the series, it shows the depth of the characters' feelings and how being part of a family helps them develop and heal.

I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

In Chasing Reese we were introduced to these wonderful characters. The connection that Catalina, Stryder and Jackson share is beautiful. There friendship grows because they challenge each other, push each other out of there comfort zone, listen to each other and most of all show love for one another. When I got to the end of Chasing Reese it ends in the cliffhanger and I was dieing to know if he was going to be found.

Which leads us into Finding Reese. I knew this was going to be an incredible continuation and it was. It was brilliant. I loved that the bracelet that Catalina gave to Jackson is what led the rescuers to find him. Catalina and Stryder knew in there heart that he was alive and they had to find him.

I loved it. I was so emotional through out the whole book. Imy captured the feeling and emotions of the characters like they were speaking there parts to her. Catalina and Stryder shows what a true friends are by being there to help Jackson during his recovery. When Stryder goes on a photo assignment, Catalina takes over his care. She is there to help when he wants to give up. She is there to listen to him and make sure he is pushing himself to get better. His goal is to get better so he can snowboard once again.

Catalina and Jackson have a surprise for Stryder when he returns from his assignment. Catalina has always thought she has two left feet and can't dance. She knows that Stryder loves to dance and she wants to be able to dance with her man. Jackson wants to teach her how to dance and it also helps him in his recovery. Styrder has a few surprises of his own too. I can't say anymore without giving away the ending. I loved the ending and it sets up for the next book. I can't wait to read more about there story.

finding Reese is the second book in the safelight series from Imy Santiago. I highly suggest reading chasing Reese to understand the dynamics of the characters.
It’s no secret, I love chasing Reese. I rated it five stars. See my review here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

finding Reese was a continuation and this is where we find out more about Jackson’s situation and where we continue to see the growing love between Catalina and Stryder.
Hands down, Imy’s writing is effortless. It flows wonderfully and creates so many emotions to flow through the reader. Like chasing Reese, finding Reese tells a sweet romantic story of Catalina and Stryder. However, the friendship between Catalina and Jackson is just as powerful.
I enjoyed reading finding Reese and seeing that Stryder and Catalina were able to overcome obstacles to find their happiness. I am anxious to read more about Jackson in the future. Thank You Imy Santiago for the safelight series and bringing these characters into our lives.

4.5 Dancing in the Moonlight STARS

This is the second book in the Safelight Series by Imy Santiago. Book 1 ended on a cliff hanger and this book takes place right at that same moment. This beautiful triangle of Jackson, Cat and Stryder continues to meld and morph and solidify in strength as the story moves along. Each side is not the same without the support of the other two.

As with Book 1, Chasing Reese, the author puts so much emotion out on the pages. I found myself tearing up for almost the first 40% of the book. You will get all the feels in this one. Strong feelings of true friendship and undying love. Beautifully written. The message of hope rings throughout the book.

So very happy to have read this new author. I look forward to more by her! Really a 5 star read but I am dropping a ½ a star just for the conflict moment in the book. I felt that even though the characters had trigger points for their emotions, the conflict with the resulting action seemed over reactive and out of character. I would have been perfectly happy if the event didn’t even occur.

Judge for yourself. Worth the read!

I gave this book 5 stars!

Words cannot describe this book. I was totally blown away with it. You have it all...lies, betrayal, love, heart break, twist, turns, friendship and of the charts Hot sex scenes. I went through so many emotions and the way Imy writes her characters you are living and feeling everything that she writes. I'm so excited not to see the same story line and that book keeps drawing you in. You will not be disappointed with Chasing Reese or Finding Reese.

The story begins where Chasing Reese leaves off.

Catalina and Stryder ate struggling to see if Jackson is alive or not.

Will Catalina and Stryder love be able to survive?

If Jackson is alive will it make him or break him?

You have to read to find out!

Imy your writting inspires us to believe in miracles, that true love and friendship will be forever. Once again you have written a absolutely amazing story. I can't wait to see where this story goes. Now I'm counting down the days to Saving Reese!

chasing Reese was my first read of 2015. It blew me away. While I don't think anything can top how I felt about that book, this book came in a close second. This book had some intense parts, lots of lovey dovey, and plenty of soul grabbing dynamics.

"Sex might make you feel like a man, but it's ultimately love that makes you one."

The love these characters have for each other is fierce. When they say it you can tell they mean it with all their heart.

"I. Love. You. - Three words: subject, verb, and object. Only eight letters, yet they yield the power to make my heart sink to the pit of my stomach, and ricochet back to its rightful place."

Another beautiful heartfelt story by the lovely Imy! This book picks up after right after chasing Reese ends!

Thank you Imy for my lovely shout out at the end! It's been a joy meeting you, chatting with you and reading about the lovely characters you have developed so beautifully on paper <3

As much as I loved Chasing Reese, Finding Reese was 10 times betters. I loved the storyline of having to face loss in such a sudden way and trying to keep live in the process. Jax went through a lot in this book that is just very real and that a lot of people will relate to. Cat and Stryder also deal with a lot, but overcome it through love. I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this book and Imy's writing. If you haven't read Chasing Reese, get it immediately! I can't wait for the third book in the series to see more of Jax's story, because he definitely deserves a happy ending.

**This may not read like a typical review but, it's what I took away from the book**

Put the past behind you. Live for now. Go with what you know in your heart to be true. Forgive yourself. LET IT GO! Love yourself. Embrace those around you who see past the stereotypes to the you that you keep hidden. Love, trust, laugh, HEAL! Purge people or things from your life that bring drama, hate, or scorn. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, or so I'm told. Be brave. Try new things. Make new memories. "Just say yes."

I laughed, I cried, I got angry...I loved this book, it didn't disappoint.

Loved Cat and Stryder. Loved the connection they had, loved the friendship they created that bonded them together for this book. They had to fight for their love and what a beautiful fight it was. I cried and laughed out loud and went back to crying. And talk about HOT!

Once again Imy has knocked me on my bottom with a great book. I loved Chasing Reese but Finding Reese is awesome. I couldn't put it down. I love Jaxs smart & hilarious come backs. He cracks me up. But most of all I love how he is a caring person. Nothing like what the media says. His love for his friends is impeccable. The love Stryder shows Cat is awesome. I love this book .

.When I finished chasing Reese, I growled at poor Imy Santiago. I could not wait to get my hands on this book. I was dying to know what happened to my man Reese. Imy left us with a cliffie like no other at the end of the last book. Thank you good lord she left us intrigued this time but for me no major cliffie.

This book takes off exactly where the previous book ended. This book is fast paced and left my heart hammering on more than one occasion. It also left it broken on a few occasions. I love this about Imy Santiago’s writing; she writes with so much emotion and description that you think you are right there in her books with her characters.

I am not sure who grew the most in this book. Jackson and Catalina both showed so much growth throughout this book. I love these two as besties. When one needs encouragement, the other is there for them. And we cannot forget Stud aka Stryder. That man had my heart melting over and over. He had a lot of soul searching his self this book. Can I have him Imy? hehe.

“Cat, since I met you my life has changed. My world lacked color and vibrancy until you walked into that cabin the day we officially met. From that moment I saw you, an old part of me died so a new one could start living. Not a day goes by when I don’t think of you, when I don’t dream of having something deeper and more profound with you. I hated who I was before I met you, and now I love the man I am when I am with you.”
~Stryder

Jackson Reese wakes up from his coma with a survivor's guilt. He broke my heart more than once when he broke down. It was so believable and spot on. I just wanted to wrap him up and love on him. Then we meet an old flame of his. Let’s just say I am not her biggest fan. But I am a fan of his coffee girl. When Jackson realizes he likes her, I was doing mini fist pumps for him. I cannot wait to see what book three brings us.

Cat and Stryder chemistry had me fanning myself like the last book. Holy moly these two are smokin’ together. I love how much love and devotion these two show each other. They always know when the other is having insecurities and help the other through them. There was a little moment in the book that I wanted to smack Stryder and throttle Oli.

If you are looking for a book filled with love, friendship, humor, and steamy scenes this book is for you. Imy Santiago does a fantastic job with getting us to fall in love with three very complex characters. She keeps us on our toes with little twist and turns to make sure we are following along.

O..... M ....Gee !!

If anyone has read my review for the first book in this series then you will know how much praise and admiration I held for chasing Reese. (if you haven't read my review for cR ....... Here is a review by Ashley: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/... ) ;)

Well double that and you've almost reached my feeling on book two finding Reese!

Yet again Ms Santiago has floored me with her linguistic prowess ! This talented author is carving out a well deserved name for herself in the social media world and I can't wait to see where she develops this story and the already amazing characters.

Book 2 is a continuation of the story from the end of the first installment so it's highly recommended you begin with book 1.
I really don't want to leave anything about the storyline from this book because I would hate to spoil the reading experience for anyone that hasn't yet read chasing Reese and trust me that experience is worth the read and more so from book 2!!! The development of the story through this novel has me itching for the third book in the series to come out.
I will say that I love love loved the characters during book 1 and didn't think it possible to love them anymore yet I really believe I do. Stryder, Cat and Jax have all stolen a section of my heart and set up camp there.

Ms Santiago to you I say thank you and brava for and intense yet beautiful series ....oh and please don't make me wait too long for book 3 ;)

I enjoyed Chasing Reese and was anxiously awaiting for what I assumed was the conclusion to the Safelight series. Finding Reese gave me some answers to the cliffhanger that I was left with at the end of book 1 but the story is still not complete and a third book is coming soon.

What I did like about FR was the intensity involving the search for Reese after his avalanche. Watching Cat and Stryder move heaven and earth to help their friend was heartwarming. This trio truly care for one another and the strong connection they have made for some very emotional scenes.

However, so much of the book continually focused on how much Cat and Stryder loved each other when that had already been established in Book one. They were for the most part on the road to their HEA, yet the constant inner dialogue about they could be so lucky to find each other was redundant. I found myself skimming many of their scenes since it felt as if I had already read that previously. I honestly thought this would be mostly Reese's story but way too much time was spent on the same old declarations between Cat and Stryder.

In addition, certain scenes could have been expanded especially Cat seeing her former fiance's family at her best friend's wedding.

In the end it's a good read but I can only hope that book 3 is the conclusion and we will finally get the story about Reese with less concentration on Cat and Stryder.

A solid 3 stars.

Wow - another amazing book in this series that left me in such a positive place, after enduring so much emotionally during the book.

At the end of the first book US Olympic snowboarder Jackson Reese was swept up in an avalanche but due to a special GPS watch given to him by his best friend Catalina Pardo, we know he's alive but not the condition he is in.

This book centers around Jackson struggling with the guilt of surviving the avalanche while his two friends died and the rehab in getting himself back together. It is not an easy job at all and it is so difficult to read the struggles he faced and the author did an amazing job at really getting you to feel what Jackson went through.

We also continue with the love story of Catalina and Stryder as they help Jackson and must also go on with their own lives. Unfortunately for Stryder that means going back on assignment. This is the first test for the two of them and they will definitely hit some bumps along the way.

This was an amazing book at picking up the pieces and really look at what you have to live for. The book really gave hope but a realistic look at the struggles that one goes through in trying to move on when you're not feeling like you have the right to!

I can't wait for the final book!!

4.5 Stars

I felt that even though the characters had trigger points for their emotions, the conflict with the resulting action seemed over reactive. I would have been perfectly happy if the event didn’t even occur.

Judge for yourself. Worth the read!

finding Reese is book two in the Safelight series. It can not be read as a standalone, you must read chasing Reese first. If you read chasing Reese than you'll know something major happened at the end. I won't give anything away but wow this one starts off with everyone at the edge of their seats waiting to learn what happens next.

We get move Catalina, Stryder, and Jackson. These three are some of my favorite characters to read. Stryder and Catalina faces some things to overcome in this one. Stryder is going away for work little bit for work and past insecurities creep up. I really enjoyed seeing Stryder and Catalina grow and find happiness together.

We get introduced to Jackson's friend with benefits, Sam. Sam seems nice but she doesn't want a commitment. We also meet Ashley. She has a lot on her plate but Jackson is a attracted to her. I can't wait to see how these two play in Jackson's life.

Unbelievable!

Another winner of a read by Imy Santiago. Finding Reese is the second book in her SAFELIGHT series. This story starts off with Stryder and Catalina helping to find Jackson Reese after he is caught in an avalanche. The same three characters remain the main focus of this book. Catalina, Stryder and Jackson. Stryder and Catalina are in a committed relationship. One that filled with beauty and heat. Jackson is Stryder's surrogate little brother and Catalina's best friend. Weird? But in this story it works. The dynamic between these three characters is unique and beautiful. They are each other's strengths. In this book, they are put to through some tests as individuals and as a family. In keeping with the spirit of the characters they only survive through the love and support the show for each other. This is what makes this book an excellent read.
