I owe the success of my practice to this woman. She is so very smart. Every time I try something that she has suggested, even when I am certain it will not work, it does work. It's quite amazing. I spent about a year trying something that she actually told me wouldn't work from the start but I was determined. Long story short: It didn't work. She was right again. Do yourself a favor if you're a therapist: Study what she says, integrate her suggestions into your work day and watch your success and practice grow. Thank you thank you thank you!!

This would probably have been better if I were actually ready to start a practice. I felt like it raises some good questions about how you position yourself professionally and brings light to the reality of starting a business and the work required. However, I don't really enjoy reading self-help books, which I believe this read like, and I consistently felt ripped off - it's a $25 book with a seemingly 50 word/page ratio.

This book was great! I love Casey Truffo, and have been receiving her newsletter for several years, but this book is the best resource I have gotten from her. Although the early chapters were about convincing therapists that it's ok to make money and not particularly relevant to me, the later chapters got me thinking and brainstorming extensively about my marketing style and ideas. Successful private practice, here I come!
