There are a lot of VO books out there and most of them are borderline terrible. Marc Cashman's book, however, gives actionable tips on reading copy. If you're a newbie, this is a great book. If you're a veteran, it's also a great book. Highly recommended from someone who is behind the mic for a living.

“Singers bring a wealth of skill-sets to voice acting. They understand the fundamentals of articulation, projection, phrasing and interpretation. As performers with a keen sense of musicality, they have a nice range and their intonation is solid, with perfect relative pitch or sometimes perfect pitch. They also have excellent breath control and microphone technique.”
