After looking on Amazon and seeing great reviews I got this book in the hopes that it would help me pass the exam. The layout with "exam watch" and "on the job" box outs is very helpful and the book does contain a lot of information. Unfortunately information is where the book falls short. There is so much info about things that would not be on the exam, as in not in the exam objectives at all. If it was only that I would have given it 3.5 stars, but some information is badly out of date. For WiFi security he recommends to do Mac addr filtering and to hide your ssid... Oh and don't forget to use wep. This is not the first edition of the book and it seems that instead of going through the book and really reworking everything author just skimmed through updated it here and there for a quick cash grab. Do Stay away and spend your money elsewhere. I have passed my network + exam but not thanks to this book. There are plenty of free resources online like professor Messer videos that are up to date and give you all the info you need to pass.
