I was promised a big, big tragedy and what I got was pure fluff about a happy couple planning a wedding.
I also read that the heroine (sorry I already forgot her name) was a tough cookie with a temper but so far, she gets angry about the stupidest things. I would give a "for instance" but I just don't care. ...more

OMG the feels! This book had so many of them. I have been following this group of friends from the very first book and was so excited for Andrew and Emily's story. Never could I have imagined the emotional toll it would take on me. As much as I have loved the first two books, Forgiven and Redemption, I can honestly say that Healed is my favorite.

Healed was a powerful and touching story about a couple who had it all and then lost it in a blink of an eye. I have not read the series on order. This was my first book in the series. I wished I had read them in order to get a feel for the characters.. I can be a stand alone. That being said, I recommend reading them in order to get the full background of the couple.

Emily was one of my favorite characters. She's tough and doesn't take shit.
Andrew is sweet and caring, and pretty much perfect for Emily.

I received an ARC of this book and it is wonderful. It tugs at your heart strings and you definitely are rooting for Emily and Andrew!! It's the 3rd book in the series and well worth reading....I read it in 2 sittings and that's only cause work got in the way!! I highly recommend his book!!

I've read the first two books in the Forgiven series and I've always liked Emily Halliday. She's gorgeous and ballsy, she doesn't take NO for an answer and she's one hell of a friend. Angie & Lauren are sure lucky to have her in their lives.

The story started off beautifully.... I really liked the way the story actually developed. The whole proposal thingy......... (breathy sigh) It was soooo romantic.. Loved Em... She is hot as hell and awesome... Loved her temper and the way Andrew handled her tantrums. They completely complemented each other.... Until....
A tragic incident leaves Andrew devastated. I understand the reason of his agony, but he took the wrong advise which costed his love...

Healed for me, was the most emotional stories of the three.
This is Emily & Andrews story. Emily is an amazing character. She is feisty & funny & extremely loyal. Andrew is a lovely man & adores Emily.

Really didn't feel good about this story - probably because I have not liked Emily in any of the books. She lacks empathy & is just plain rude. That said, it was well written. Poor Andrew, he suffered so much. I wish there was more to come about Angie, Caleb, Lauren & Josh. It was a very good series.
