I picked up this book expecting to get myself in the holiday spirit, but I was mildly and pleasantly surprised to find there was much more to this book.

Indeed, this book does give you festive vibes to some extent because the story mainly revolves around a single’s holiday (escape) set in Christmas time, but I got an impression that this is actually more like a tapestry of human drama offering an interesting outlook and insights into “singles'” lives.

This book can be read as a standalone, but I

I was given an ecopy of this book in exchange for an honest review as part of the blog tour organised by Kim The Bookworm for Elaine Spires and her latest novel Single all the Way which I am more than happy to do.

Eve a tour manager for a singles holiday company is enjoying her first, hard fought, christmas off - relaxing in front of the tv, with a meal for one and a box of chocolates until she gets a call from her boss. Another tour manager has gone AWOL leaving a group of singles unaccompanied

3.5 stars. Overall not a bad book. This is the third in the series and even though it does work ok as a stand alone I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read the others as the characters mention holidays and other characters in the previous books. Still an enjoyable read but didn't feel quite as Christmassy as I would have liked.

Elaine Spires is a new author for me but I absolutely love to discover new authors so it was with some excitement that I began to read 'Single All The Way'. Having just finished reading 'Single All The Way', I can definitely say that it was a fabulous book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Single All The Way' but more about that in a bit.
When I agreed to participate in the blog tour for 'Single All The Way' I hadn't realised that it was actually the third book in the 'Singles' series. There are

Eve is spending Christmas alone for the first time in fourteen years. As a tour manager for Travel Together, a tour group full of singles, she deserves some time off. No drama, no incidents, no headaches, until....the latest inexperienced tour manager disappears from a holiday tour in Essex and Eve's boss begs her to fill in for three days. What could go wrong?

This engaging story is filled with complex characters who have their own unique histories to tell. Ms. Spires' attention to detail keeps

Once Eve arrived at the hotel to take up an emergency placement as Tour Manager, I found that I relaxed into the story and enjoyed getting to know the cast of characters who had decided to spend Christmas there. They are quite a variety and as you discover as the story develops, most of them have their own secrets to hide or anguish to cover up. They get into all sorts of escapades which are genuinely funny. Set against these are some touching moments of self-awareness.

This one ended up being a bit of a disappointment to me. I went into it expecting a romantic comedy and was left quite underwhelmed. The story itself was mostly fine. It was the delivery that didn’t quite do it for me. However, as an inspiring, life lesson kind of read this is amazing.

The first thing I need to say about this book was that its chapters were “days”, meaning some chapters took me an hour or so to read. I think this could have been done better if the days were “parts” to the book,

Although it has been a few months since I read the previous books in the Singles Trilogy, within the first two chapters it felt as though I had never left. That being said it can easily be read as a standalone, its just some of the characters recur, as well as Eve who is the main character for the whole trilogy.

This time instead of an exotic location, its a short Christmas break with Travel Together, which Eve is called to on Christmas Day after some both with the previous guide. The break is

I've been meaning to read the Singles' Trilogy by Elaine Spires for such a long time. But it's so difficult - when you have a gigantic pile of books waiting to be read - to commit to reading a series, and Elaine assured me that I'd be fine leaping straight in with the third in the series, Single All The Way. I'm a bit of a singles holiday veteran, and this series seemed quite perfect for me - so perfect that I decided to read it while on my latest singles break in South America. And - well, ...more

First of all I have to say thank you to Elaine for a copy of this in exchange for an honest review after meeting Elaine herself....what a lovely and friendly lady she is. I could actually see her fun personality shine through this book.

This is actually my first book by Elaine Spires and wont be my last. Wow what a fantastic enjoyable book. This is the third book in the trilogy but I felt that you can read it as a standalone. Has the are references to the characters in the other books which makes

I would like to thank Kim Nash and Elaine Spires for sending me a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I'm glad to be back with the familiar Travel2gether holidays of Elaine's Singles holiday books. I would certainly books singles holiday with Travel2gether especially if Eve was the Tour Guide.

Elaine openes the book at a hotel with a new group of Singles Holiday guests. Eve however isn't the tour rep this time and she isn't with them, she is at home having Christmas off

I was lucky enough to receive a copy of this to read and review as a blog tour is going to start for this book next week. I have not read anything of Elaine's before so wasn't sure if I could read this book as it was the 3rd in a series, but was assured it can be read as a "stand alone book". A great start to my Christmas reading. Lots of characters and to be honest I did get a bit confused at times with some of them, but it came good in the end! What I did love about the characters was that ...more
