Filled with all the stereotypical portrayals of girls that I hope we can discard someday--gossip, laughing at how others look, a mean girl who they hate and call names, concern and anxiety about how she looks, looking good for her school picture, excitement and interest in what outfit she and others are wearing. BORING. Come on, girls can be much more interesting, brave, caring and unique, but we train them early on to have these shallow qualities and tear each other down. Maybe I picked up the wrong Heidi Hecklebeck book to read?
