This book was nice because of how it was set up. It is organized in a way that each number had its own page, and on the page there is the same number of objects that allows children to count along. The bright colors used in the pictures were very appealing and intriguing. Overall, this is a great book for children learning to count to ten.

We're still not really sold on this numbers thing, but when we do eventually come around, books like this one where the numbers are clearly depicted with bold and interesting pictures will be our go to.

Another counting book. This one has bright and bold pictures. My toddler and I practice counting each of the items on the pages and tracing the big bold number with our finger to work on learning the numbers. My son has another favorite counting book, but this one is also pretty good.

Very clear depiction of the relevance of numbers (though the cherries are confusing). Beautiful colors and design.

Jane Foster's 123 is illustrated in the same style as the ABC book above, and just like the ABC book, it is a more traditional concept book, which focuses on learning to count without a lot of extra gimmicks or ploys to get kids interested. Some of the illustrations repeat images from the ABC book, which makes both books feel a little more manufactured and a bit less personal, but it is nice to see that straightforward counting books geared at the interests of very young children still exist! Miss Muffet's favorite part of this book is the last page, where there are ten fish. I'm not sure if it's her fascination with the fish or just a coincidence, but this was the first book where I counted to ten and actually heard her saying, "Eight, nine, ten!" along with me at the end. She doesn't love this book quite as much as Jane Foster's ABC, but we'll be hanging onto it to share with her new sibling when he or she arrives later this month!

Numbers 1-10 are covered in bold colors and patterns in this board book. This book was everything I wanted it to be.

This is a counting book up to the number ten. This can help children learn to count. They can practice recognizing the numbers and also counting the objects.

Love this book! It does each number separately, then all the numbers, then count downs to a rocket blasting off. So cute! Great for kids learning to count.

I love the colors and illustrations in this counting board book. Count the images to the number 10 and then at the end count down from ten to blast off!

Some of the pictures held my toddler's attention while others did not.
