4 1/2 stars!

It is with a fair amount of sadness that I write this review for the final installment of the Weekday Bride series. Wife by Wednesday, (the first book of the series), was released in the fall of 2011. Now, four years later, Ms. Bybee has released the final, (and what just may be my favorite), book of the series!

This is Gabriella Masini’s story. Readers of this series will remember that Gabriella was left recently widowed. She has been trying to

It is always with a heavy heart that you have to say goodbye to a much beloved series. Very bittersweet when you are both excited for the last read and dreading it because, after it, there is nothing else left. No more lovable characters. No more swoon worthy romances and friendships to rival all others, no more anything.

So it was with a touch of sadness that I went into Treasured by Thursday by also a whole lot of excitement as well.

Excited to get Gabi, Valentino's sister from the last book's

When Gabriella Massini's boss asks her to interview a client for her elite matchmaking service Alliance, she assumes that Gabi will turn him down. She is shocked to find out that Gabi not only accepted Billionaire Hunter Blackwell as a client; she married him herself. Gabi initially told Hunter that he was not an acceptable client for Alliance. But when Hunter blackmails Gabi, she has no alternative than to sign a contract to be his temporary wife. He won't tell her why a rich guy like him needs ...more

There's just something sweet and genuine about Catherine Bybee's writing. Her stories are loaded full of heart and suspense. They're not too heavy, and keep you captivated from start to finish.

Treasured by Thursday is the last of this series, and I have to admit that I'm sad for it to end. However, there is loads of potential for spin off series. In Seduced by Sunday which was the

What a way to end the Weekday Bride Series! I have loved each of the books Catherine Bybee has written in this series and Treasured by Thursday-book seven-is no exception! Each book features a different couple, so they can each be read as standalone novels. There are cross-over characters, however, probably the most in this one, so I would advise to read them all for the full effect of this wonderful series!

3.5 hunted and claimed by Hunter stars. Honestly, the book would have lost two full stars if Hunter wasn't the male lead. Hunter really made the book for me because he wasn't just some self absorbed dickhead but a hardworking, goal orientated, clever, and redeemable guy. Gabi wasn't terrible but there were moment when I wanted to kind of throw something at her.

I suppose I should explain why I am not raving about this book. For starters, the overall flow of the story just didn't click with me.

I fell in love with Gabriella in the previous book and continued to find the character charming and lovable. After the horrible ordeal she had been through, it would have been understandably difficult for her to be comfortable in another relationship. At first Hunter seems like the last person she should be with, but as he tries to win over Gabi, he won me over as well. Bybee has once again written an exceptional strong heroine who is able to go toe-to-toe with a dominating hero and have ...more

Catherine Bybee is one of those authors readers hate, and I mean that in the best way possible. Once you start reading her books, you aren't going to want to put them down, resulting in loss of sleep, ignoring the world around you, and forgetting to eat. Then you end up tired and hungry. But at least your reading need is satisfied.

Gabriella “Gabi” Masini has lived a sheltered life, tucked comfortably on her brother’s private island resort, off the

A fantastic end to a brilliant series. I truly feel like each book just got better and better. I loved the sisterhood of this series, I love how strong, smart and brave the heroines were, and how they fought for their HEA. This is a series I will reread over and over again. I one hundred percent recommend these books!

Catherine Bybee really knows how to finish strong. I have loved her Weekday Brides series, each and every book has been an incredible stand-alone read, but the core characters continue to be such a support to one another you really get the sense of their strong friendship which has built with each new book in the series and enhanced my reading experience. Especially in this seventh and last book, TREASURED BY THURSDAY, where all the women connected with the Alliance matchmaking service, and ...more
WOW! Catherine has really done it again! This series has gotten more intense, with more suspense and action the later into the series you get and for this, the last book in the series, Catherine decided to go out with a bang. We first met Gabi our heroine in her brother’s story Seduced by Sunday and while this book is fine as a standalone I highly recommend reading SbS first so you have all the background. I am SO sad to see that this series is ending. I have loved every single one of the books in this series, and this one is no exception.

We get romance, suspense, blackmail and as always the importance of friends and family.

Hunter turned from a bit of a cold hearted man, to a man who found the benefit of having a loving woman at his side, a companion and someone to look after without thinking of just

This story had a good plot with plenty of action. I liked the premise of the romance but not so much the execution. The relationship never seemed to build. It was so black or white and all the secrecy got tedious. It was nice to see other characters from the series. Billionaire Hunter blackmails matchmaker Gabriella into a temporary marriage.

A great way to wind up a series.
Even though, Gabi & Hunter were the protagonists of the story, all the characters from the previous books appeared.

This one was interesting b/c in the beginning Hunter is a jerk so it’s hard to root for him. And Gabi is so likable you want her to find happiness after the previous books tragedies.

Overall, this was a charming series. I am extremely impressed by how well written it was. Even though it is essentially "fluff", ie. light romances. The author (in

Treasured by Thursday is a fantastic ending to the Weekday Brides series.

It’s also kind of a rough ride. I felt so much for Gabi that I had to stop in the middle for a bit. I like her a lot and didn’t want to see anything else bad happen to her, even on the way to her happy ending. But I couldn’t hold back long and finished the book in one evening. I just couldn’t wait to find out how the author managed the happy ending.

It is always a bittersweet feeling when you come to the last book in a series. And it was no different as I read Treasured By Thursday.

We met Gabi Masini in Seduced by Sunday, and to get the full effect of her story, you should at least read that book in the series before reading Treasured by Thursday. The story line continued on in Thursday.

Wow. Just…wow.

Arranged marriages, blackmail, extortion, an evil twin, an evil diseased ex-husband, an evil drug lord, car explosions, kidnappings, secret babies… yes, all of this happened in just one book.

I really have no idea how I missed this complete series, but I’m rectifying that ASAP, and although this book can be read and enjoyed as a stand-alone I’m sure it would’ve been fantastic if I had read all the previous couple’s stories.

So Gabi (whose back story I’m guessing was part of a

Treasured by Thursday, the final installment in Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series, is another marvelous romance with a few suspense elements. This delightful novel pairs up Gabriella "Gabi" Masini, a matchmaker at Alliance, and Hunter Blackwell, a billionaire in desperate need of a wife. After Gabi deems him an unsuitable candidate for Alliance, the ruthless businessman does a little digging into her background and coerces her into a marriage of convenience. The sparks fly between them, ...more

This is the first book I have read by Catherine Bybee, but it will certainly not be the last. When I received an offer from the publisher to read and review Treasured by Thursday, the book description interested me, so I eagerly accepted it in exchange for an honest review. Even though this is the final book of this series, it can easily be read as a standalone, and I enjoyed it immensely.

Hunter seems to be your typical billionaire. He’s handsome, smart, rich, ruthless, and has a reputation with the ladies. Now he’s in need of a wife, though it isn’t until later into the story we find out why. When Gabi’s matchmaking company turns him down, he finds no better solution than to blackmail her.

What Hunter doesn’t fully realize is that Gabi has some problems of her own, that might get everyone into trouble.

I received a copy of Treasured by Tuesday through the Goodreads Giveaways program. Prior to this I had already read and enjoyed the previous six books in Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series. Such a bittersweet moment this is. But what a way to finish one of my favourite series. Catherine knocked this one out the park. This book being the final book of an already classic series, held high expectations and it does not disappoint at all. A pitch-perfect ending to a wonderful series!

I imagine it would be a challenge for any writer to come up with new and innovative ways to keep a series that is so specific fresh and creative. I was absolutely amazed at how well Ms. Bybee accomplished that feat in this, the seventh and final book! A plot-line that involves a "groom" who is a complete and utter jerk - to the point of blackmailing the "bride" for no reason other than to accomplish his own selfish ends is genius! Especially when

Two words, Catherine Bybee! I LOVE everything she writes.
Treasured by Thursday is her last novel in the "weekday series" (but I hope she still comes back with some holiday additions).
Gabriella Masini has had a rough go of it. If you read Ms. Bybee's last novel then you have already met Gabi. Gabriella is trying to put her life back together and has moved to California to work for Alliance. Well the weekday brides have come to and end in this last book in the series. I have to say I have really enjoyed them all.

Great ending to this series. Great Narration (audible review)
I really like Catherine Bybee's writing style. She gives you all aspects of a good book. Great characters, an easy to follow story line and plot, great chemistry between the main characters with nicely written sex scenes, not erotica. And lots and lots of fantastic dialogue.
