Rate this book
Does Kendra have what it takes to deal with the pressures that come with her day job while allowing Sebastian to handle her at night? Kendra is a bundle of nerves when she walks into the office of Sebastian Montoya. To say his reputation precedes him is a gross understatement. Immediately she sees that the larger than life architect has an even bigger ego. The mystery that surrounds him is hypnotizing. There is just something about him that draws her in. He oozes sexuality and his lilting Spanish accent makes her insides flutter. But as she learns, architecture isn't his only talent. A hot and steamy night at work leads to far more than she could ever expect.

I downloaded this book years ago because it was free. It’s one of the first books I’ve disliked in a very long time.

There were so many spelling mistakes, someone clearly did not carefully proofread this before it was published. The romance between the main characters felt forced and unbelievable. I understand it’s a short story so it’s hard to get depth, but I think it would have felt better it the aim was a fling between the couple, it did not feel like love to me. I also felt uncomfortable with the gender and power dynamics between the couple.

The saving grace for me was that it was so short, otherwise I don’t think I would have been able to finish it. It’s safe to say I won’t be reading anymore of this series. It’s just not something that suits me personally.

This author really packed a lot in this short. She managed get me to tears, which is not normally what happens in hot, steamy books. Talking about steamy, this book definitely had some hormone raging scenes that were on fire. I really liked this book and will definitely be reading a lot more from this author.

Great!!!!!

The book was amazing, I do wish the beginning showed a little more detail on why and how Kendra decided to intern for Sebastian. I wish that Kendra had more details to her background, I feel a connection needed to be formed to be able for me to truly and fully connect with her at the end. The only thing we really know about her is that she is insecure about her body and is perusing a career in designing buildings. I also noticed that on their date Kendra asked Sebastian how he knew how to dance like that but from what I understood from when they were dancing Kendra knew a little but of what was going on and knew how to dance a little bit, you could have wrote a little bit about how she knew how to keep tempo or something. But overall the book was a very good dark alone sexy warm book to read. I hope I get the rest of the series so I can see what happens to Kendra and her relationship with Sebastian.

A Quick,Hot, Experience

A great book about someone ready to open herself up to all new career experiences, but also opens herself in so many other exciting, erotic ways. But he seems to have had second thoughts after an earth moving experience for both of them. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Oh my, the rush...

This was a HOTT read. Like melt your panties hot. There even may have been a bit of fire. I like this one. I actually teared up at the end. I have to know what happens. Does he really kick her out? Does he apologize? I mean there is so much to know!! I'd give it more stars if I could..

Wowsa!

What a hot read! Exactly what I needed to warm up tonight. Honestly, this is likely 50 times better than 50 shades.... sexy Latin accent... accompanied by sexy Latin man with the right amount of kink to pull it off. Can't wait for the next one!!!

Holy Hell!
I'm not normally a BD fan, but may I repeat, holy hell! This was steamy hot. The erotic sensuality of the characters and the situation, and the mercurial changes lead me wonder what lies ahead. Flawed or not, this man is hot and what he does...well...

The book is interesting and entice the reader to learn more with every turn of each steamy page.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has an imagination. The writer is very descriptive and portrays the story like no other being the character emotions to life.

It’s not a bad read but it’s predictable. You can guess the book and it’s outcome in the first 3-5 pages. The book is your cliche erotic romance trope. New Intern/New Employee has the hots for her new good looking boss. They cross a boundary and it’s an influx of emotions between the two characters. I’m new to reading Romance. This is my 5th book in this genre. I am not too fond of the common tropes I’m seeing through the genre so if you’re looking to find a newer theme, this forbidden love story isn’t one of them.

Something I did like was getting the POV of both of the characters (The Hot Boss and the Intern). We get to enter the heads of both and see how they view each other during different moments. That was cool to me.

I wouldn’t recommend the book to anyone if they’re looking for a GOOD, edge of chair seating romance book. However if you’re looking for a pastime read or something light, this would be fine.

Who's In Control

This is a story about a young woman getting an internship with a famous architect in Spain. None for having control of all aspects of his life, he loses it with her. Enjoy I did

A quick and steamy read but it left me feeling a bit meh. Not sure if I’ll continue with the series or if Sebastian’s attitude is a bit much for me.

This is barely a story, just a brief introduction to a jerk who takes advantage of his new intern.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This office romance brings together a mysterious, commanding architect and a nervous new hire. Sebastian’s allure is intense, but the dynamic feels a bit predictable, and the fast-moving physicality lacks depth. It's enjoyable for its tension and dirty talk, but it doesn’t offer much new in the genre. Good if you like boss/subordinate setups without a lot of fluff.

Rush was Rushed

Rush is the first book in the Rush Series by Lucia Jordan and I must say it was not what I expected and I was hoping for so much more. I have never read a Lucia Jordan book before and I am afraid the Rush series will be my first and last.
Sebastian is our alpha male and he is very demanding and controlling in a very sexy passionate way. Kendra is our smart beautiful and a little self conscious female character who of course immediately wants Sebastian and vice versa. The sex escalated quickly with no real rhyme or reason to it. I gave the series the benefit of the doubt because the first book was not a completely horrible read and had the possibility to get better

Well........it didn't, I was disappointed at the fact the story had some good plot twists (for the little plot it had) and could have been a good read if it had more development and was better written. The main theme through the entireseries is that it all was very rushed. I am not going to put up reviews for the rest of the series because its all the same. poorly written, grammar issues and just a lot of sex with no reason and feeling unexplained. I

This was a good short read that kept me entertained from beginning to end. I would have liked more sex since the male character was extremely hot, but overall a great read. The Author, Lucia Jordan, isn't afraid to give away copies of her books either. Not only did I download this good book for free, I will be getting the next installment for free as well. This is good entertainment for free. What can be better? I would highly recommend this book to readers of erotic romance.

Short stories

Don't be fooled, this is not a book. It is a quick 30 minute read. With only 4 in the series that doesn't even make a full book. This one was free but I don't like when authors try to sell a short story for the price of a real book. I won't purchase the other installments.
