Camille Palme was bought as a child to serve an organization named Ember. She is an assassin named Naked Lady. Her only expectation in life are to serve and die. When she turned sixteen she fell in love with the sound of violin music. This gave her a new outlook on life that maybe there is more than she thought. Camille is chosen to partake in a game of life and death against another assassin and if she survives she will be given her freedom.
Camille is strong, determined and a killer. The plot in this book is very good with lots of twists and turns. There is some romance involved too. I did enjoy this suspenseful book which left me surprised.

Gonna go read it again and in the meantime gonna read everything else I can by this author in hopes to find more heart racing wtf moments and alpha leads like I just encountered in this book.

Review

I haven't read a story this badly written in a while. The author explains things that are unnecessary. Then she explains the same scenario again and again. The reader should be allowed to use imagination and come to conclusions without being spoon fed. I like the story content but the delivery felt stale and insecure.

What a disappointment. Poorly edited, meandering, and very little character development. It was an interesting premise, but fell short on execution.

Merged review:

Pretty terrible. Poorly edited, with lots of run-on sentences and switching of tenses. Barely finished.

I am trying to figure out how this was an erotic romance? At least it was an ok story no erotica in it what so ever. Maybe in the next book? I probably won't find out though wasn't that into it to find out any more.

Did not find this erotic/romantic or even just interesting at all and lost any interest in wanting to read the rest of the series.

Good Story

This was a well written story. It has enough intrigue to make the reader want to read the next book.

Very short read, no erotica in this part maybe it will be in the next part of the series. Nicely written and pulls you in with an interesting plot.
