Let me start with *****EEEEEEEEKKKKKKK****** I love these box sets! I absolutely loved every story in Mastered: 10 Tales of Sensual Surrender and loved every story in Mastered 2: Ten Tales of Sensual Surrender just as much (some maybe even MORE!)

PLAYED BY THE MASTER by Opal Carew: It's no secret I love all things Opal! And this promises to be another fantastic story for of hers! This is a very hot short read. The gist is that Jacqueline is going to figure out how to get her brother in law out of trouble with the man he owes money to. Her solution: seduce him into compliance. Wanna bet me on who ends up saved and seduced? This was a sexy, fall to your knees, melt your panties quick read no one should miss!

TANGLED & BOUND by Jennifer Leeland with Emily Ryan-Davis: It's no secret that menage is my absolute favorite kinky kink :) and this story did NOT disappoint! This was a true tear-jerker for me. The authors didn't just blow over/cover up all the s*** that can come with such a relationship. No, they confronted it head on! Noah and Ty have been lovers for a long time and when Tasha came into the picture, Ty's insecurities came to surface and he ran. But how far did he get? Were Noah and Tasha able to convince Ty his place was with them and that their relationship was worth fighting for? If you decide to read this story, know THIS ... this is not a story of sex. This is a story of emotion and love and friendship and bonds. It's a MUST read for everyone as far as I am concerned!

HER SECRET by Portia Da Costa: If I was going to title my review, I would title it "Own your choices but don't let them rule your future!" This is a short sexy story of two lovers meant to be. Jamie and Susannah were in a relationship many years ago, but she broke his heart and left. But now it's today, present day, and they meet again. Never in her wildest dreams did Susannah ever thing she would get to see the love of her life, Jamie again! So when a lesson on BDSM is offered, everyone jumps to it, feet first! lol Well, all I can tell you is that what starts out as a little bondage kink turns out to be the beginning of a future that is meant to be :) HIGHLY recommend this for all you kinky readers out there! LOVED IT!

ONE NIGHT WITH MY BILLIONAIRE MASTER by Cynthia Sax: This was an off the charts steam factor read! And for me, also emotional. You have a girl who all her life has basically been told you're shit and you won't amount to shit...by EVERYONE. But not Logan! No, Logan found her worthy and very much worth his time and effort! Everyone should have a Logan in their lives! #TRUTH

THE BUYER by Saskia Walker: I really liked this story. Successful, self-confident, self assured Naomi doesn't know what hit her when she meets Lucas! She was trying to get her business off the ground by meeting with as world renowned fashion buyer, but she got Lucas instead! Tables are turned, sexual exploration, new beginnings and love are all a major part of this story. It's written very sensually and touching. Another high recommendation from me!

RESISTOR by Madelynne Ellis: Resistor is part of Madelynne Ellis series, Black Halo. I love this series HARD! I thought I would have to wait until May to read this story but here it is!!!!! OK, so now for the highlights! The series is made up of rock-star badasses and their badass, sassy chics! This is the story of Spook. Now Spook has been sexless for like 6 or 7 years (i know, #insanity) BUT, Alle is about to change all that. It's gonna be a challenge and it isn't going to be easy, but it will SO be worth it in the end! Be prepared, because Spook's celibacy is NOT just because he decided one day to not have sex. NO, it's emotional and gripping and VERY heart-wrenching!

HIS TOUCH by Karen Fenech: Corinne is a broken submissive. But Nate is about to change all that. Nate's been in love with Corinne for a looooong time but Corinne is in a very dark place. Her husband/Dom (now ex) truly abused her in the worst way and her life is a living nightmare. This story is DARK people, so beware. But totally worth it in the end! Because if anyone can bring Corinne out of the dark and into the light, it's Nate!!

MASTERING THE MISTRESS by Evangeline Anderson: (i didn't read this story. paranormal stories are not something that I enjoy reading because they are just too outside the realm of possibility for me and I don't enjoy them)

LUSCIOUS by T.J. Michaels: This story was WAY more than I expected! I absolutely #LOVED it! It's about love and trust and second chances and friendship and just powerful! OK, so we a couple, MacKenzie and Landon, married for ten years, divorced and now back together again. Landon was a very bad boy and basically caused the divorced. But these two were destined to be one, so fate took over and they're back together (at least that's how I feel about destiny and life's path). But Landon is not feeling worthy and MacKenzie has to figure out a way to make him understand that 'all is well that ends well'. There's a few unexpected twists and turn to this story that make it gripping enough to be a page turner and even tho we have a 'cheating' situation in the story, T.J. Michaels manages to make the readers sympathize with not only MacKenzie, but Landon as well! Exceptional story!

JENNA’S PUNISHMENT by Ruby Foxx: First things first .... for a short story, this packs some serious heat! It's one one of those quickie smuts everyone loves to read as a filler between novels. Older man/younger girl scenario ... perfectly kinky!

XO, BLAKE by Avery Aster: This book is part of a series and the whole series is just one huge shenanigan (lol)! These kids get into quite the messes but they stick together and that's what matters. This is the story of Blake. He's gay with a MAD crush on his roommate! Add THAT drama to all the other 'stuff' that happens and you've got yourself a SERIOUS comedy here! I'm not normally a fan of books with main characters in this age group, but this book and series snuck up on me and I loved it!

So there you have it kids .... The world according to ME on Mastered 2: Ten Tales of Sensual Surrender! It's quite a ride and there's something for everyone! You'll love it! #TRUTH

If you enjoy hot sexy reads then I would imagine most if not all of the authors featured here have crossed your path at some time. So it's with great delight that I recommend this fabulous anthology to my fellow book worms. Usually with this type of book I briefly mention the amazing value and opportunity to sample different authors work but as this was such a great read I will briefly give a few thoughts ( hopefully without spoilers) on what I liked about these stories.
Played by the Master is the second book that I've read by Opal Carew and features Race a wealthy but bored businessman who is confronted by a young woman completely out of his social sphere. He is beyond interested in Jacqueline but he has something she wants and boy does Jacquelyn have something Race needs. Would you care to gamble on the outcome?
Tangled and Bound by new to me Jennifer Leeland and Emily Rynn -Davis showcased a complicated arrangement that proved there's more than just sex to a relationship. A world of self doubt and jealousy fuels this story raising many issues but it's love that finds the way.
Her Secret is my first read by Portia Da Costa and is about second chance love. What starts out as fun lesson in BDSM quickly reawakens old feelings and the realisation that sometimes walking away is the wrong thing to do.
TJ Michaels offers Luscious, a story about Landon a natural born "rigger" whose guilt about tearing his wife's heart out prevents him from fulfilling all his needs. Mac has forgiven him and his talented wife is determined to help him find closure .
Cynthia Sax is an author who I've long admired and the chance to read her story One Night With My Billionaire Master was irresistible for me. What would you risk for one night of true fulfilment ? Body, heart, soul? Arianna is starved of affection and tired of resisting sexy and totally off limits Logan but something's are inevitable. This loyal trusting woman is about to learn that love doesn't always have to come at a cost.
The Buyer by Saskia Walker featured Naomi who whilst self possessed and confident of her abilities is left totally out of her depth when she meets cool as a cucumber Lucas. They begin a voyage of discovery that takes Naomi out of her usual comfort zone but with total surrender comes a sense of discovery that leads them both to confront just how sacred a dominant and submissive relationship can be.
Resistor by Madelynne Ellis explores what technically should be a match made in heaven but Spook keeps trying to resist. He is haunted by memories of Allegra and the kink they shared but his past means he is reluctant to press forward and explore their possibilities. He may be a man of few words but sometimes actions really do speak louder than words!
His Touch by Karen French showed the darker side of BDSM although to be accurate it was more a case of abuse and violence and not safe, sane consensual sex. Corinne is fragile, damaged and betrayed and yet still manages to be strong. Unaware that her friend Nate loves her she has to overcome her fears and learn to trust Nate but it's a cathartic journey that will tear them both apart. I loved this story!
Evangeline Andersons story entitled Mastering the Mistress had me jumping for joy as it's part of her awesome Kindred series! Following on from the book Enslaved we meet Solar a Havoc warrior who has been drugged and offered for sale as a sex slave! He is bought by the sheltered and completely out of her depth Kaylee but on the matriarchal planet Solar finds himself on men are considered savage brutes frequently abused and worthless . Kaylee is unsure just what to make of Solar but as treachery stretches out it's hand it's her slave who will save her. Can Kaylee let him go?
Jenna's Punishment by Ruby Foxx is oh so short but uber hot! Jenna has grown up in front of Cade but as his daughters best friend is off limits. Jenna however can't help noticing Cade and he brings out her adventurous side but as exciting as her fantasies are when Cade gets playful Jenna is left squirming and begging for more!
XO Blake by Avery Astor is a story that had surprising depth. Blake has always known he's different and is comfortable in his own skin. Ready to try anything once and outgoing with friends he loves everything changes when out one night he get drugged. Waking up in the home of fellow students Diego and Miguel he's not sure quite what happened but so happy to finally get close to the gorgeous Latin pair . Blake takes a walk on the wild side and loves every minute if it!
Yes these stories frequently feature BDSM elements so if you enjoy stories that take you for a wicked ride then this book is a must read. At the introductory price it's a fabulous buy and if you wish to explore steamy stories with more than a little kink than you really should get this book I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review

I loved this boxed set so much I sat and read it from cover to cover and did not sleep until i finished it. It is hot steamy and oh so good. There is not one single book in this set that is not a good read. I thought Mastered 1 was HAWT well Mastered 2 was even hotter. Grab your copy and set your sheets on fire! I love each and every character.

Tangled & Bounded by Jennifer Leeland with Emily Ryan-Davis
This is an awesome 3some BDSM story. TY and Noah both bi-sexual men have a wonderful relationship. They are so much in love but are missing something from their relationship. Noah is the Dom/Master in the relationship. TY is realizing that though he loves being Noah’s submissive he is changing and becoming a more of a switch. So what is a Master (Noah) to do? He does the only thing he can do. Because he loves TY so much he allows TY to explore that side of himself. Tasha has been old friends with TY for a long time and is in love with him. Ty brings her into the relationship where he and Noah Dom her together. Noah discovers he loves Tasha. In this book you will find some seriously hot steamy BDSM sex, 3 people reaching for new heights in their relationship, and of course jealousy. Will they have what it takes to overcome everything they are faced with? Trust me you will so love this story.

Jay who was Mac’s old sub shows up 2 years later after Mac and Landon mend their marriage. I do love how the story ended. I did not find the hot steamy sex, but did find some hot scenes. This story gives you a different outlook on BDSM.

Can Nate save her from the nightmare that haunts her?

Solar who was a Havoc (distant cousin of the Kindred) had been drugged, kidnapped, and put in a Flesh Bazaar to be sold as a sex slave. He was truly worried about not only himself but his Captain and friend Thrace who was kidnapped as well. Lyra had convinced Kaylee to buy Solar since Kaylee did not have a body slave. Kaylee was from the planet Opulex (Capital City of Yonnie Six) they did not believe in a man penetrating the woman. Men were looked at as animals, so to be penetrated by on would be like bestiality. Men were also like property, something that should be owned, served, and abused. Opulex believed in dominating the men slaves. What happens if the role is reversed and a man dominates the woman on this planet? There are some hot and steamy bdsm sex scenes that go on in this story. You will love Kaylee and Solar and hate Lyra. You can only hope that Lyra will truly get what she so deserves.

Ty, Noah and Tasha are a threesome with issues one's a switch who believes once Yamaha falls for the other their is no room for the other so the must prove to the other all three can love and not get in the way of the tree of them having a happy end

I read only read Mastering the Mistress by Evangeline Anderson in the Mastered 2 Book


Stars: 5

Pros: I loved how innocent Kayla was and how she went about treating Solar. I also really enjoyed that the POVs changed back and forth between them so you got a better idea of what was going on. My favorite parts was when Layla was called out by the Eminence and also when Solar stunned her ass. That bitch went down like a tone of bricks. Evangeline Anderson is always wowing me with her sex scenes and how tasteful, but fun they are. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Cons: My only con with this story is I wish we would've got to read about Laya being sold to the flesh bazaar. Other than that I really enjoyed the story.

I loved every story in this collection!! One of my favorites was Mastering The Mistress by Evangeline Anderson.

The story of Solar the "slave" and Kaylee the "mistress" is the perfect blend of romance, lust, action and kink!

I highly recommend this boxed set. All of the stories grabbed and held my interest and it is unusual for me to enjoy every story within a boxed set because you always seem to get a few stories that don't follow the theme that caught your interest in the first place.

Mastered 2 has met and surpassed my expectations as I enjoyed all ten stories and even added new books by these authors to my kindle!

Mastered 2 is a wonderful collection of stories that all have a BDSM theme. I'm a bit wary of anthologies as I often find that I only like one or two of the stories, but I can honestly say that I enjoyed all of the stories in Mastered 2. I've rated each of the stories individually and they all got four or five stars, there wasn't a bad apple amongst them. I was already a fan of many of the authors in this collection, but I have also discovered some new talented authors that I love. The stories in this collection all feature BDSM or kink but they vary in intensity from playful games to formal Dom/sub relationships. There is a fabulous variety of stories and I definitely recommend this great value box set.

Mastered by the Player by Opal Carew - 5/5 stars

Mastered by the Player is a hot, short read from this talented author. Opal Carew is so good at creating sexy, dominant alpha males who make me want to swoon - or fall to my knees in front of them! - and the hero of this book is no exception.

Jacqueline wants to help her sister, but to do this she will need to talk to Race Danner. She manages to find a way into a high stakes poker game held by Race, and the sexy billionaire is enchanted by the beautiful woman who could be just what he's looking for to ease the boredom that he's been feeling lately. The game that follows is anything but boring and makes for sexy, fun reading.

I liked both main characters and enjoyed the chemistry between them. I'd love there to be a sequel to this book so we can see how the relationship between them develops. As always in Opal's books the sex scenes are fabulous and scorching hot. I enjoyed this story and give it five out of five stars.

Tangled and Bound by Jennifer Leeland - 5/5 stars

I absolutely loved this MMF ménage story. There was so much emotion in this story, I was in tears at times. I connected with all three characters right from the start and I really wanted their relationship to succeed. Sometimes ménage stories can seem overly simplistic, with none of the problems this type of relationship can have, but this story was realistic and believable.

Submissive Tasha has joined long term lovers Noah and Ty in their relationship. The sex and kink is great, but when emotions become entangled things become more complicated. Dominant Noah knows that Tasha has always loved switch Ty and fears being left out, but it's Ty who's insecurities and jealousy cause him to run. Can Tasha and Noah convince him that their relationship can work?

This story pulled me in from the start, and I literally couldn't put it down. The three main characters are fantastic, I loved all of them. Their relationship had its ups and downs but the bond between these three was strong, and the chemistry was sizzling. The sex scenes were great, really hot, but this story was more than just sex - it was about the complex emotions of three people embarking on an unusual relationship and the growing bond and love between them all. The writing was stylish, the characters well drawn, the storyline believable - I loved this book and will be reading more from this author. Definitely worth five stars.

Her Secret by Portia Da Costa - 4/5 stars

Her Secret is a short sexy story of old lovers meeting again several years after their relationship ended. I enjoyed this book, it was a sweet story with a nice amount of kink to spice it up.

Jamie loved Susannah but she broke his heart when she ended her relationship before they both left for college. When they both meet again at a wedding they are both still attracted to each other, but do they both still have deeper feelings for each other?

This is an enjoyable story about second chance love and I give it four out of five stars.

Luscious by T.J Michaels - 5/5 stars

Luscious is fantastic story that I absolutely loved, it was so much more than I expected. Love, heartbreak, a second chance at love and some great twists make this a must read book for fans of this genre. I'll definitely be looking out for more books by this author.

MacKenzie has a dominant personality but she submits to one man, her husband Landon. Married for ten years they went through a painful divorce but then reconciled and remarried. Landon still blames himself for their split, and MacKenzie needs to come up with a plan to stop him punishing himself.

Both MacKenzie and Landon are strong personalities, and I liked both of them despite Landon's past mistakes. The author manages to make the reader feel sympathy for both Landon and MacKenzie which is difficult to do with a hero that has cheated on the heroine in the past. The storyline is interesting and enjoyable with unexpected twists and turns. Luscious definitely gets five out of five stars.

One Night With My Billionaire Master by Cynthia Sax - 5/5 stars

This is an intense story of domination and submission that is extremely satisfying. This was one of my favourite books in the anthology, I really enjoyed the chemistry and interaction between Arianna and Logan. The writing was smooth and flowed well, it was easy to read and kept my interest to the end.

Arianna is tired of resisting Logan's advances and agrees to just one night with him. Logan is her father's enemy has she shouldn't be seen with him, but the attraction between them is irresistible. Arianna is a sweet character, she is strong despite her awful half siblings constantly trying to undermine her. Logan is my dream Dom - gorgeous, outrageously naughty, strict but protective and possessive.

Cynthia Sax is a talented writer and I will be looking out for more of her books. One Night With My Billionaire Master gets five big stars.

The Buyer by Saskia Walker - 4/5 stars

The Buyer is a sweetly sexy story that is enjoyable to read. I was slightly disappointed when I got to the end to find that this is only part one of their story, but I will look out for the next book so I can find out what happens next.

Naomi travels from Scotland to London to meet up with a fashion buyer of a prestigious retail agency in the hopes of selling her clothing range. Unfortunately she gets there to find that the buyer is unavailable, but the company boss steps in instead. Lucas is absolutely gorgeous and shows Naomi the pleasures of surrender.

I'm looking forward to the next part of Naomi and Lucas' story, as I really liked this couple. The Buyer gets four out of five stars.

Resistor by Madelynne Ellis - 5/5 stars

I've been looking forward to this book for a while as I'm a big fan of Madelynne's series about rock band Black Halo. You don't need to have read the other books to be able to follow the storyline, but I would encourage you to try them as they are fantastic. The characters in these books are insanely sexy, larger then life rock gods and gorgeous, feisty rock chicks. Resistor is a great read - it's sexy, fun and emotional.

Guitarist Spook has been celibate for seven years, but he can't get sound engineer Alle out of his head. When he meets her again the attraction is still mutual but Alle can't convince him to give their relationship a chance. Can she find out why Spook avoids sex and can she change his mind?

This was a great story, the distress that Spook went through made for emotional reading but this was balanced out by the steamy sex scenes. Spook is one of my all time favourite characters, he's as hot as hell but he's a real enigma with dark secrets and a painful past. Alle and Spook's story continues in the next book, which I hope is out soon as I can't wait to read it! Resistor is definitely worth five stars.

His Touch by Karen Fenech - 5/5 stars

His Touch is an emotional, heart wrenching story about abuse, betrayal, and learning to trust and love again. It is dark in places, but it is a beautifully and realistically written story that will really touch your heart.

Submissive Corinne was horrifically abused by her husband Steve, who was also her Dom. Injured and broken, both physically and mentally, Corinne ran to her nearest neighbour Nate. He has secretly been in love with her for years and knows she is the woman for him. Can he help her heal and repair her broken soul?

Unlike in some books I've read, Corinne will not recover from her ordeal overnight. This book is realistic and believable, it will take a lot of time, patience, love and care before Corinne can begin to heal. Nate is utterly adorable, he is a real sweetheart. He is so patient and tender in the way he deals with Corinne, if anyone can help her heal and reclaim her submissiveness it will be him. His Touch is a great read and I give it five stars.

Mastering the Mistress by Evangeline Anderson - 5/5 stars

Mastering the Mistress was a big surprise for me. When I discovered this was a sci-fi/fantasy story I seriously considered not reading this one as I hate sci-fi books. But I wanted to be able to give this anthology a honest review, so I reluctantly started to read it. I think Evangeline Anderson may have converted me into liking this genre as I loved this book! It is exciting and sexy with two great lead characters, I'd definitely recommend it to people who enjoy this type of book (or even to those who don't, like me).

Space ship navigator Solar is kidnapped and put up for sale at a Flesh Bazaar as a sex slave. Kaylee receives an inheritance from her wealthy great aunt, but is shunned by the upper society of her female dominated planet as she doesn't have a male body slave. Men are treated as animals and are kept in slavery, and penetration during sex is a criminal offence. Kaylee is convinced to go to the Flesh Bazaar and reluctantly purchases Solar. What will happen if Solar turns the tables on his new Mistress?

I found this book absolutely fascinating. There was so much detail about the various planets and the different races of people. The author's writing was descriptive, flowed well and was a pleasure to read. It was also seriously hot! The plot was interesting and well executed - I loved it! Five stars!

Jenna's Punishment by Ruby Foxx - 4/5 stars

This is a very short bonus story, but it's definitely worth reading as it is hot.

Twenty one year old Jenna is helping her BFF's father clear out the den in his house, but she becomes to see him as more than her friend's Dad. Cade is also attracted to Jenna but thinks a relationship between them is wrong because of the age gap and he doesn't think she could cope with his need to dominate. But when Jenna breaks the only rule in Cade's house she needs to be punished.

This story may be short, but it packs a punch. Four out of five stars.

XO, Blake by Avery Aster - 4/5 stars

This is a fun book about a young, gay college student called Blake. I don't often read books
with young/new adult aged main characters - I think I'm too old for them lol - so this wouldn't be a book I normally choose, but despite this I did enjoy it.

Blake is lucky as his parents are extremely accepting about his sexuality and he has a great group of friends. Blake and his friends go through a lot in this book, and Blake is there for his friends. Blake also has a huge crush on his roommates but doesn't think the attraction is mutual.

This wouldn't be my usual reading choice, but it's a good read and gets four stars.

I was so deeply engrossed in this story that I actually forgot it was a novella in an anthology, wanting to see how their story developed once they'd overcome their circumstances. I am definitely a new fan of this author!

From the second Naomi's eyes landed on Lucas she was intrigued and I don't blame her one bit. Lucas is strong and oozes dominance and always gets what he wants... And he wants Naomi!
The chemistry between Naomi and Lucas was off the charts. Each glance, stroke and caress were felt as you read this story and I loved loved loved it! I wouldn't have put down my kindle if you paid me while reading this. Ms. Walker has a way of pulling you in and keeping you panting as you read the sexy, steamy scenes between Naomi and Lucas. I will definitely be looking for more of her work.

Rhythm guitarist, Spook Mortensen doesn't want a second chance with sound engineer, Allegra Hutton-- not over a table, in a limo or in bed.

Spook, Spook, Spook... I really wanted to love this story. I liked it a lot, but I needed more, way more... Like, what exactly made Spook so deathly afraid of his feelings for Allegra. We were never told and I am guessing maybe the author has the rest in another book but I so wanted to know what was in that closet of his. Aside from that, I love Allegra! She doesn't take no for an answer and goes for what she wants -- A no filter kind of woman and you just got to love her.
I will be looking for the rest of their story, but overall this was a good read.

Heartbreaking... What her husband did to her was horrible and I know that many women, unfortunately, have experienced this kind of abuse from their Doms. It's what makes outsiders, like me, wonder how women and trust without a doubt that they won't end up with a Steven.
Nate is a godsend! His love and patience with Corrine is breathtaking. I truly loved his character and I love how he made her face her fear all the while unsure that he wouldn't loose her. 5 STAR read, no doubt! I would recommend this to anyone!

This is a great anthology and gives readers an awesome variety or different authors to sample some of their best short stories. If you are a fan of books involving "sensual surrender" you will definitely enjoy the book.
I read the book primarily for Evangeline Anderson's story "Mastering The Master" it is the second part of her last Brides of the Kindred book Enslaved. In that book Thrace and Solar are drugged at a bar in a space port and end up being sold as slaves in the Flesh Market. Both are picked up by women who hail from planets with societies where women dominate and men are basically slaves.
This story involves Solar and Kaylee. Kaylee is convinced to buy Solar to be her slave by her devious "friend". He is a Havoc, a relation to the Kindred who don't normally bond to females for life. Kaylee is not on board with the whole female dominance male slave thing but has learned to exist within its rules as best she can.
Finding herself aroused while trying to "train" her slave Kaylee is shocked at her reaction when Solar manages to reverse the situation. Nobody, I repeat, nobody writes sensual exciting erotic scenarios like Evangeline Anderson and once again she raises the OMG bar for hotness mixed with romance and lots of sensual tension.
This is a short story but the characters, plot and world building are well drawn out and tie in wonderfully with Trace's book. I love getting immersed in the author's mesmerizing detailed world of the Kindred, the many planets, types of Kindred men, alien species, technology, food, social customs, kickass heroines and alpha hunky heroes, truly her creativity is mind boggling.
(Seriously hoping that one day soon we have a Kindred Bride book where the planet of Yonnie 6 goes through a major revolution. Those females won't see what's coming, lol)

This book is Hot Hot Hot! There is a story here for everyone who likes their romance with a lot of spice! The Authors they picked were a great fit they worked together to make something fabulous. Very well written for a great price!

I originally went after this book because of Opal Carew, I honestly love her work, but when I completed the novel I had ten new Authors to add to my must read list!

Opal Carew as usual hot, sweet and to the point!

Emily Ryan Davis, great job keeping it real. When 3 hearts are involved someone is bound to get hurt, its not always sunshine and rainbows in those kinds of relationships!

Karen Fenech, great job in showing us how things are supposed to be done. I loved that Corinne was so strong even at weakest point she didn't stop fighting!

Saskia Walker, great job why fight business and pleasure it is a great combo!

Now to be completely honest there was one story that I found kind of aggravating because they never sealed the deal..or should I say went to home base. There was all this build up and frustration for the couple that lead to frustration for me because as woman who wants all of that drama; especially if there is no happy ending..if you know what I mean! Even while saying that I guess it wouldn't be fair to not say who it is, Madelynne Ellis. I loved the story I was reading it like a maniac and to be fair all of the foreplay was scorching hot with clearly the story has perfect title. He was indeed the Resistor to the point that if he had a theme song that would play when he walked into the room, it would be Katy Perry "Hot and Cold". Overall still a great story I was just left hanging off a very huge cliff.

**PLAYED BY THE MASTER by Opal Carew
Once again… Opal Carew just knows how to write a novella that is short and sweet while still being hot and satisfying. She’s able to make you love her characters really quickly… and create a complete story that just draws you in.

I loved that Jacqueline’s motivation was her sister and family. It told you right away what kind of person she was. Race’s life was completely about being in control… taking charge of everything. I loved that while he was trying to get information from Jacqueline, he also did his own research to figure it all out. Total take charge. The dynamic between Jacqueline and Race was really sexy.

**TANGLED & BOUND by Jennifer Leeland with Emily Ryan-Davis
his story addressed some of the questions I have about ongoing threesome relationships. If you are a part of a monogamous couple… and you bring in a third person… how do you deal with the whole dynamics change. Not only the physical aspect, but the emotional aspect. Is it always 3 together? Are there any times that it’s just a couple? How does the third person feel when 2 go for lunch? Is it ever 2 in bed, or always 3? A lot of books show this as being a seamless relationship… all just meshing and blending smoothly. It’s not the only time I’ve read a story of a threesome working through the conflicts… but I really like reading about how different relationships work through troubles. It makes it a much more real story.

Don't let the duration of my "Currently Reading" start date and end date mislead you. Yes, it took me some months before finally finishing this boxed set, but not because the stories were not good, or there were too many of them.

I gotta be honest because it's an initial impression, I wasn't in the mood to finish reading (almost didn't) because the last story was about gay romance (with sex of course). I have nothing against them, my bestie is one actually but I just didn't feel like reading it. So months went by and I forgot about finishing this set until I revisited my currently reading shelf and saw that The haven't finished this book and so I read on.

I'm not a fan of gay romance or gay sex but "XO, Blake" was written superbly. I gotta hand to Avery Aster, she does write about colorful characters who seem superficial on the outside, but are really human on the inside who bleed, suffer misfortunes, and some are lucky to have loving parents (sometimes too loving toward each other), and their tight group of different personalities.

I don't want to focus too much on the last story though. I liked all the stories here, it's worth it!

It was fine. A little too willing on the girls part for all of her play acting at being a strong woman. Flip the switch and say yes master, no problem.

TANGLED & BOUND by Jennifer Leeland with Emily Ryan-Davis - 1 star
Not for me, I really did not get it or enjoy the story at all. While I'm not opposed to a little ménage tres action I did not like anything about the characters and lack of plot line in this story.

MASTERING THE MISTRESS by Evangeline Anderson - 4 stars
Solar and Thrace have been captured and are being sold at the flash bazaar. It just so happens Kaylee is looking for a body slave for her new role on Yonnie Six. Lucky for solar she is more innocent and kind that most lady's on that planet.

I liked the short novella. There was not really a chance for a full fledged story to happen but I wanted to see how Thrace's story ended up.

Anthologies are so hard to review because there are always really good stories and then some that are a bit less. I'm not sure that I've ever given a 4 star rating to an anthology though. Yes, this had a few stories that I just couldn't connect to but they weren't awful and then the ones that I did connect with were out of this world awesome! This collection was put together very well, the stories really did mesh very well with one leading seamlessly to the next. This really was a great introduction to authors that I hadn't read or had only read a little and their stories here made me decide I wanted to read more of their writing. Each of the stories were well written, with extremely good characters which in most instances pulled in the reader and hooked them. I'm looking forward to reading more from the authors included in this anthology!

I love a good anthology and this one easily moves up to one of my all time favorites. I love all the stories but my favorite was from a favorite author of mine, Evangeline Anderson. After reading Enslaved I couldn't wait to get my hands on Mastering the Mistress. It is about Solar and Kaylee. Solar is a Havoc, like Thrace from Enslaved. Kaylee is from Opulex and was left an inheritance from her great aunt. Her friend convinces her to buy Solar from the Flesh Bazaar as a sex slave to better fit in with other high society. Her friend doesn't have any good intention of helping Kaylee. I loved Solar and Kaylee. Their struggles to accept how they feel when it is not what they were taught to believe just reminded me again why I love the Brides of Kindred series. My only complaint, it was too short.

I was surprised by this box set. I was expecting 10, maybe 9, full length novels, but what I got were quick, easy, and hot reads that were more novella length. This was definitely a good thing as I don't usually requested box sets, but this one piqued my interest.

I read all but three stories in this box set and they were all spicy and hot reads. The ones I didn't read had nothing to do with the writing, it was just the subject matters didn't interest me.

Overall I'd definitely recommend this box set if you're into hot read with dominant males. All of the books held my interest well, but my favourites were One Night With My Billionaire Master and His Touch. These two stood out and connected with me most but they were all great quick stories.

since there are so many amazing stories in this set im just going to single out my favourite by Cynthia Sax.

ONE NIGHT WITH MY BILLIONAIRE MASTER by Cynthia Sax: This book is a pantie dropper and then some.

It is also raw and emotional. You have a girl, Arianna she has been told that she is worthless for most of her life as well as being told she will amount to nothing. by Everyone.

But not by the sexy handsome Logan! Logan has found that she is more than just worthy and very much worth his time as well as his efforts.

I loved the raw emotions and passions and Logan he is down right amazing we all need someone like him in our lives.

This compilation by such best-selling authors as Opal Carew, Jennifer Leeland with Emily Ryan-Davis, Portia Da Costa, Cynthia Sax, Saskia Walker, Madelynne Ellis, Karen Fenech, Evangeline Anderson, T.J. Michaels, Ruby Foxx, and Avery Aster far exceeded my expectations. Personally, I would have bought the book for Avery Aster and Opal Carew’s novels alone, but to find all the other stories so totally enthralling was such a wonderful bonus. Most of the novels are stand-alone, while a few are part of a larger series. All are hot, provocative, naughty, romantic, intriguing, and of course sensual. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a compelling and sexy read.

I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review. This is a great collection of stories and authors. They are a steamy group of stories that was a quick read. Avery Aster XO is about Blake and a prequel to his the next book. I love the Manhattanites series so this was another great addition which was surprised me since I wasn't so sure about mix up with Blake, Diego, and Miguel. It worked well and I can't wait to read the next addition. This is for mature adults and wild. These are guys and their other friends are what trouble means with a capital "T". The other books in the is collection was just as good. I highly recommend picking this up and you chat beat the price.

Hot, fun and kinky. Full of steamy stories by many of today's top authors. There are 11 short stories full of everything from new found encounters to people with trust issues there is nothing missed in these exciting new stories. Opal Carew's story of the woman that breaks into a poker game to plead for her sister's innocent husband is a none stop read. I couldn't put it down. Tangled and Bound showed that love can conquer all even fear. I can describe each story but that takes all the fun out of reading them. There wasn't a bad tale in the bunch. I loved the collection! Five stars well earned.

All of the books in this collection are super hot. This is definitely meant only for adults.

I liked some of the stories better than others. My favorites were XO, Blake by Avery Aster, Played By The Master by Opal Carew, and One Night With My Billionaire Master by Cynthia Sax.

I won't tell you which ones I didn't care for. You can make your own decisions when you read it.

Some were longer than others, some were hotter, some had more plot, some were more kinky than others and there is even some man love for those who like it.

This collection is a great price for a huge amount of talent.
