this book is 135 pages and took me a month and a half to read it. I don't know if it was the style of writing or the metaphors or analogies but most of the chapters I had to struggle to get through them.
I did enjoy the Q&A chapter and the chapter in which he broke down the 7 deadly sins and how we should reflect on them prior to making a confession.
but the rest of the book was difficult for me. not because it was difficult to understand but just because my mind would wander off and before long I would have no idea what he was talking about but I would have already made a decision on what to have for lunch or how to get my haircut.

Read this for LIT 389 - Penance and Anointing.
Excellent approach to reconciliation from a Catholic Perspective.
Good Q & A about Sacrament of Penance, too.
