My review posted on Wonder Struck -
From Head to Tummy is a must read for little girls. I think many teen girls may not want to read this but I think they should, just because of the facts that fill these pages. It was a quick read that made me wish I knew some little girls to give this book to. The message that comes from this book is one that is need in todays world. There are many parts to this story that I feel should be taught to girls of all ages. Along with these facts comes a story that g

This book was a cute read, easy to understand and easy to capture what Haley’s ambitions are. She points out many good examples of teaching children how important it is to love yourself the way God created you to be. It takes the face of bullying and turns it around to a positive atmosphere with a light hearted message of not judging one by their looks.

Haley’s book “From Head to Tummy” is a light hearted, lovely, insightful and informational children’s book that I would recommend to any parent t

This book teaches sound truths about food, self-esteem, and real beauty.

"Journey with the adorable Ashley as she's faced with life's unavoidable moments that create confusion about food and her body."

"But soon she will discover the truth and find happiness in learning how to listen to her tummy's signals, us

I would absolutely recommend this book to any woman or mother to read to their children. A friend and I were discussing how we could teach our children about healthy body image in a way they can understand. She found this book and let me borrow it. This book clearly explains dangers of dieting, eating disorders, how to deal with comparing and negative media messages. It is a positive book with great pictures. Your child will not feel scared from the way this book presents it message. My daughter ...more

From Head to Tummy is a great kid book. Little girls of all age will enjoy the bright, colorful pages of this story book while learning. There are facts in the book that girls should know about because of the kind of world we live in. The fact that the author can take something that’s a touchy subject in todays world and make it easy for little kids to understand is great. The only bad thing I have to say about this book is that its was written for girls. I would love if the author would do one ...more
