I had a little trouble getting into this book and actually put it away for awhile. But once I picked it up again it only took a few days to finish. Right up until the end the pacing felt good, but it felt like it ended to abruptly. What happened to Anala, Lares, and Miranda? Did they survive their arrival back to Mt. Voco? Did the Castle survive the earthquake? Was Rosa successful? Did Ghia find the traitor in her staff? I was upset when Ghia lost her powers. Glad that Agate survived. Overall I ...more
