Eric Shore knew getting involved with a girl who could read people was risky, but he couldn'

Eric and Caity is... so... badass and awesome and OH MY GOSHNI LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH.

Melissa Pearl is one of my favorite author, I've said that before already. And this book is one of the many reasons. Two Faced is jam packed with action, mystery, romance and thrill. I don't know how she did that, but she did and it's incredible! All the elements of a satisfying sequel is here and I was left craving for more Caity and Eric.

So.. Caity's story continues. At Tru

I'm so excited for the release of this book. It was actually a really hard one to write and I thought my brain was going to short-circuit a couple of times. I struggled with the interweaving story lines and I thought I'd written an epic fail.

BUT... now that it's done and ready to go, I'm so super excited. For all my angst writing it, I feel as though it may be one of my strongest books. Thanks to the help of my critique readers, awesome editor and eagle-eye proof-readers, Two-Faced has turned in
EEEPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!! Another amazing book by the wonderful Melissa Pearl!!! I seriously couldn't put it down. Yes husband had to watch spawn so I could read. I was desperate for the next page!!!
I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley and I couldn’t have been more excited! Caitlyn has had her gift for a while now. However it’s still hard to handle normal life and her ability. Thankfully she has Eric. Her wonderful boyfriend to support her, and be there for her, now being away at college an

I demand MORE Caitlin and Eric. Stat!

While I didn't feel this book was as "hold on to your seat" dramatic as the first, I thoroughly enjoyed it and want more of it.

Like the first book, the protagonist is a strong, independent college girl who does what is right, even if it gets her into dangerous situations and makes her boyfriend mad as hell at her.

We could all use a little of her courage.

So good

I've so enjoyed reading these books so far and just what I was looking for. So very very thankful I didn't have to hate a certain character cause it might have made it a little awkward in person. ;)

Wow! Two-Faced is another amazing and emotional story by Melissa Pearl! A sequel to True Colors, Melissa deftly intertwined the paranormal and suspenseful drama into Caitlyn's life. From high school to college, life and growth happens, but with Caity's ability to see people's true emotions, life isn't as simple. Melissa has skillfully expressed the struggles and stress that Caity goes through in dealing and us

Two-Faced picks up right where True Colors ended. Caitlyn and Eric are both students at UCLA. Caitlyn is excited about starting her Freshman year in college and having a wonderful experience with Eric by her side. Unfortunately, her first semester starts off a little rocky.

Caitlyn is rooming with Nicole, a girl she met in high school and who made a brief appearance in True Colors. Unfortunately, it turns out the two of them don't get along very well. Nicole is a neat freak. Caitlyn isn't all tha

Another great continuation of this series. I loved getting to see Caitlyn and Eric's characters again and continue on with this unique paranormal romance. This time round Caitlyn is at college and begins to notice something funny happening with the basketball team. Convinced they are on drugs, Caitlyn begins to investigate using her special ability to see beneath people's façades. Unfortunately this also puts her at odds with Eric, who's stepbrother, Conner, is one of the team's star players and ...more

Although I liked this one, I was so frustrated with both Eric and Caitlyn that I didn't enjoy this as much, at first. Of course by the end, I was back to loving these two, but damn, I waffled between being mad at them and then not. What is funny about it is that they are still the same people from book one, but their interactions were so disappointing I wanted to shake them.

Both are now in college together and things are going well until Eric's step brother transfers in. A really nice guy that

This is the second book in the MASKS series. They do need to be read in order.

The first year in college is supposed to be amazing. For Caity, her first year includes a bitchy roommate, frustrated love, and suspicions about the teacher-everyone-loves.

>I received this book from the author and from Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock. This is the second book in the Masks series and ends with an HEA.

>The story of Eric and Caity continues. It is now 8 months later and Caity is a freshman at UCLA, while Eric is a sophomore. Caity sees weird masks on the basketball team members, one of which is Eric's step brother. She thinks it must be drugs, but when she mentions that thought to Eric, for the first time, he

I received this book from Mark My Words Publicity in return for a fair and honest review.

We rejoin Caity and Eric as they go through their first year at college. Not only does Caity have the usual stresses of college - completely opposite roommate, disliking certain teachers, frat parties, etc - but she also has to cope with her ability to "de-mask" people. She is trying to have a 'normal' life but sometimes the mask will take over and she will do what she thinks is right, even if sometimes it i

Jump on the Roller-coaster....

I was so impatient for Two-faced to be released, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it! When I received an email inviting me to do a review and receive an early copy of the book I couldn't respond fast enough. I could not wait to find out what was in store for Caity and her gift of seeing behind the masks people display to the world. I also couldn't wait to see what would happen with Eric, her amazingly understanding and down to earth boyfriend.

This is such a different story – I loved it!

There was so much in this book it could be classified under several categories: YA, paranormal, thriller, suspense, mystery…

I had no idea what to expect when starting this book and was pleasantly surprised. This was definitely not your typical collage age romance story. The romance part, almost took a back seat to the mystery/thriller storyline but still played a prominent role throughout.

The main character Caitlyn has a gift of being able to read peo

Another exciting addition to the Masks Series. Caitlyn has now started college and is enjoying her relationship with Eric. However, not all is great as school isn't quite what she imagined and her roommate and her are complete opposites. But things are about to heat up and those issues take a back seat.

At a basketball game, Caitlyn sees some interesting things with the players and she begins to suspect that they are all high. One of the players is Eric's step-brother, Connor, and Eric goes into

Caitlyn is at college now along with her boyfriend Eric. Nikki & Dale also drop in through out the story which I loved! All is going great until they attend a home basketball game to watch Eric's stepbrother Connor play who has just transferred to their school. Caity notices some strange mannerisms coming from the players during the game. She can sense something is wrong but can't figure out what it is yet. Then there is their professor who gives her the heebie jeebies as well but can't read ...more

The gift of seeing people's true emotions is a powerful one and is a power that Caitlyn doesn't take lightly even after the events of True Colors. She has a determination to make things right where she sees a wrong. Her nature of wanting the best for people means that she can't ignore the things that she sees. Her boyfriend, Eric, is usually so supportive of her gift but when it reveals something that he doesn't want to believe in two people he admires and looks up to, he begins to question her ...more

I love Melissa Pearl; her stories have a freshness about them that I always enjoy - she has a talent for exposing unexpected faults in her characters and she definitely knows just how to turn them into endearing qualities that draw you in. I’m always so happy to discover hidden meaning in Melissa’s stories and the characters that tell them.

In Two Faced, I found the writing (as usual) smooth and easy to read - there is no doubt that Melissa can execute a well structured book - but I have to admit

A star basketball player who may have been drugged without his knowledge. A college girl being blackmailed by a professor. A man whose death isn't as accidental as it seems. Could they all be connected? Caitlyn Davies thinks so and with her ability to see the truth behind the masks people wear, she's determined to find out just what that connection is. Even if it means putting herself in harm's way once again.

Two Faced is the type of sequel I love; one that invites the reader to enter further into the lives of the characters and develops the original story.
In this book Melissa Pearl makes one huge change from True Colors. Now the narrative is shared between Cailtyn and Eric. This allows us to share their emotions and different viewpoints about the drama which unfolds. I really liked that fact that in Two Faced Melissa Pearl shows that not every fictional romance is perfect. Both characters are heavil

Seeing behind a person`s mask can sometimes be a gift or a curse. Caitlyn just wanted to enjoy college life not be confused and enstranged with her new boyfriend. Eric is the only one who knows what`s going on in her life. So knowing that his brother might be doing drugs is tearing them apart. I loved that Melissa Pearl has once again put Caitlyn in a situation she never saw coming yet is the only one who can make things right. Set in the college life you expe

This is the second book in The Masks series. This book is better than the first one. Caitlyn has figured out how to keep peoples true feelings hidden. But every now and then she sees somethings that she really doesn't want too. This time, instead of high school problems, she is in college. She gets a funny feeling when she is around one of her professors and it isn't the good kind of funny. Can her and Eric stay strong during this year? C

This was a brilliant follow-on novel to True Colors!
Getting inside Eric's head was an interesting development, and it also spun a completely different view on Caitlyn's world. The plot is intricate in detail, with loads of twists and turns. It will keep the reader, reading - and that's brilliant.
From new life at college, sports, study, and doping - this fantastic new novel is a definite pick up in the Mask Series world. I would recommend this book and series to anyone who loves romantic suspense

Another hit for this series!! Some gifts can be equal parts blessing and dangerous. Caitlyn knows this more than most and in this book the danger is very real and farther spread than anything she ever imagined. There was so much mystery, action, tension, and danger you were kept on the edge of your seat the entire time. I loved the inclusion of one of my fav MP couples, Dale and Nicole! Very excited for how this series is progressing!

Caitlyn Davis is in her first semester at UCLA. She’s not really enjoying it. She doesn’t care for her dorm-mate who’s a neat-freak and girlfriend to Eric’s (her boyfriend’s) dorm-mate. She’s disappointed that every time she and Eric try to have sex for the first time they get interrupted and have to put it off. Then they find out that the guy that was abusing their friend Indie and threatened Caity’s life just died in a car crash not far away. To top it off Caity’s getting weird vibes from one ...more

So the first book was amazing but one thing was missing. That was Eric. I anticipated this book because it was going to show more of Eric and Caitlyn’s relationship but boy he turned out to be a jerk (not exactly the whole book) but still. I got to see a lot more of Eric and get inside his head and I didn’t like it much because he didn’t support Caitlyn and he didn’t believe in her or her power. I felt disappointed a
