His life is in a monster’s hands but he may be one himself.

The only thing about Tristan’s typical American life that’d been even slightly atypical was that he was adopted. The Blum’s raised him, loved him as if he was their own. But they never knew who Tristan really was, about the stigma his birth surname carried. Everything changed after their untimely death. Suddenly mo

I’d say 3.5 stars, really, but I’m perfectly fine only being able to select 4.

This book needs proofreading – like, a lot of proofreading – but honestly, it DIDN’T BOTHER ME. And considering I’m often completely turned off by technical problems, that’s a pretty big compliment to how truly great the voice of this writing is. It’s smart and witty and snarky and creative, and the flavor of the language kept me turning pages without ever regretting picking this book up. I laughed out loud several tim

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

This book starts out with a dizzying amount of action that pulls you in, only to then bore you. Once the action stops and things start to settle I kept hoping something would happen because for me I thought Tristan and Ash would never leave that house and while they’re there I was mostly bored. But, for any reader who would have pushed this book aside at that moment are surely missing out, because once it does pick back

3.5 stars for me.

I received a copy of this book from a Goodreads giveaway and this is my honest opinion.

It took me a while to get into this story. I spent the first 36% of the story rolling my eyes at the sexually confused comments made by the main character. However, once the gender of Ash is truly revealed, the eye rolling stopped and the story flowed so quickly that I couldn't believe it was over once it was.

There is a lot of adult content within the book and while most of it is not graphic,

Tristan came to Japan to find his brith mother after the horrific deaths of his adoptive parents, what he found there or rather what found him was a whole lot of crazy. Monsters as it turns out are real and for some reason they want him dead. The only one looking out for him is Ash a mysterious Jap who for some reason want to help him.

Ash has secrets, a whole host of them, and they are not easy for someone to uncover. Try as Tristan might there is always something new coming to light when it com

Tristan is about to learn a lot more about his real parents and what is future has in store for him.
It all starts when he moved to Japan after the car crashed that killed his adopted parents. He meets Ash a 500 year old vampire at a club that tells him there is a vampire named Malik that is hunting him down to kill him. These two work together to solve what is so special about him and why a powerful vampire like Malik wants to get rid of a weak human.

I love Tristan's fast mouth, quick and witty

I really wanted to like this book but I couldn't. I purchased it on Amazon to read after the original reviewer was unable to read it. First of all, the book needs some editing. I found multiple typos and the use of the wrong word, such as "would of" and "should of" instead of "would have" and "should have." There was also a lot of redundant phrases and the overall book was wordy. There was so much inner dialogue and I felt the book was really unnecessarily long. Some of the fight scenes went on ...more

SOMETIMES known as Stinna (pronounced Steena), Christina Moore just so happens to be her real name. Her writing career started under a pseudonym in the romance genre. But her true love has always been the paranormal. Vampires, werewolves, demons, faerie and everything in between, she loves them all—the allure of the unknown. The birth of the Uruwashi series started many years ago with a daydream ...more
