4.5 Crazy Stars!!!
Whoa! I didn't see that coming! I'm anxious to see how Volume 3 plays out and who Brook ends up with. I'm torn here! I do need my Niko fix though.

Eli Chastain certainly know how to keep you hooked to a dramatic story line in volume 2 of the Shutter series. This has masses of heartbreak, heat, depth and shock, all at once.
Brook is in serious trouble for getting caught for stalking Niko. She feels lost and abandoned, hiding up in her home avoiding everyone, worried what they all think of her now. She is also trying her hardest to break her addiction to Niko. She realises what she did was wrong and plans to rectify this situation.
Her brother has left her to fend for herself but her best friend Paul and a blast from her past are there for her. One of whom I'm wary of his intentions being genuine!!
We learn a bit of Brook's history in this volume and the reasons why she started her fixation on Niko, for her to acknowledge those reasons means she's well on the way to curbing that obsession. It was a welcome addition to the story that's added depth to her character
Niko isn't totally out of the picture and we learn some seriously shocking things about him in this volume, it appears not all of what Brook thought was true and maybe not all her feeling were one sided!!!
That ending has left me hanging and I certainly need to know what happens next....

Brook is facing some serious charges after her secret stalking escapades are revealed. She's a bit lost and alone until a past love swoops in to lend a helping hand and possibly rekindle that love. But Brook is still hooked up on Niko even though she's trying to let him go. And Niko? It looks like Niko may have some hang ups of his own. Brook and Niko are as hot as ever. But with everything in their past between them it's not so simple finding their way back to each other. Secrets are revealed that will leave you shocked. Paul and Brock are back rounding out this great group of characters. Brock pissed me off a bit but I'm hoping he'll redeem himself. Another great addition to this new series, I can't wait for part three to see where Eli takes all these characters.

Eli Chastain did it again! She gave us heartbreak, heat and shock! I absolute love Niko and Brook and am become obsessed.

Book #2 picks up with Brook in court. My question was why Suzy didn't go to jail for her break in? (I kept reading and my question was answered).
Stephen comes to her rescue, while Niko stays silent. Her BFF Paul, stuck by her and her twin brother Brock didn't . Niko FINALLY speaks up and come clean about the whole fiasco and his involvement.
I was a little disappointed with the story shift....but mainly in the change in Niko towards the end. His personality wasn't quite the same. Overall, I enjoyed it and waiting to read the conclusion in book #3. I won't wait too long.

Book 2 picks up when we find out that Brook is being arrested for stalking Niko. The biggest surprise in this book is Nikos secret, when he tells Brook the truth will they be able to work through this or will it stop any happy ending there might have been.
We were able to get more involved with the background of each characters so now I have a better understanding of why Brook was doing what she was doing. And why her twin was so standoffish and now we know where Stephen comes into play! Can't wait to read book 3.

The tables have turned and things have heated up significantly in this installment of Shutter. Not only did we get to see a whole other side of the complex man that is Nikolas Gallo, we also got a glimpse into the events that changed Brook’s world. Things were significantly steamier in this installment and the drama intensified as a blast from Brook’s past shows up and stirs up memories and feelings that had long been suppressed.
While I enjoyed this installment, I wish it had been longer. I am anxiously awaiting the conclusion to Brook’s story.

This is a short. It took me a while to remember what book 1 was about but I soon got into it. Again it ends in cliff hanger - surprise, surprise. We will have to wait to see what happens and whether it is Stephen or Niko that has the HEA with the beautiful Brook.
Oh and to have a best friend like Paul, how nice. I think Brock needed to get a good kick in the pants for not standing behind his sis. I am glad he came through in the end.

3 Stars for Shutter: Vol 2 by Sarah Dosher
A convoluted, crazy love story about a stalker and a celebrity who turned out to be the stalker's stalker, too. Did I say it's a convoluted story?!? But don't let that convoluted summary fool you. Shutter is a good story and I really enjoyed it. You will love the twists and turns in it, that's for sure.

I'm obsessed with Nikolas Gallo too! I loved the 180 degree turn this book takes and there are more surprises. Oh and the sex scenes are ridiculously hot. Again. I really like Eli's writing style, we get a little more backstory here for a few of the characters and some relationships deepen while others get put to the test. I'm already impatiently waiting for volume three.

THAT ENDING!!! OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! This is such a great series. I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. And I'm ready for the next book! Nico. Wow. Stephen, too. I can't wait to see what happens next in this.

Brooke and Niko have met and their secrets are revealed. A man from Brook's past is back in town and wants her back. More scorching hot, page turning sexy times with lots of angst. Who will Brook end up with? Can they move forward after all the secrets are revealed.

Love these characters. I feel like Stephan showing up isn't just a coincidence though and that he might have ulterior motives. I really hope Brook doesn't fall for it. I'm definitely Team Nico!
