This isn’t the afterlife she expected...

Jen MacLellan can’t get the hang of being a reaper. She’s been separated from Jack, the man she loves, and is stuck with an annoying telepathic link to her ill-tempered mentor, Sam. Now Death is breathing down her neck, promising to remove that annoying link if she gives him what he wants. But when reapers begin to disappear back on

Oh man....the feels. I couldn't put this book down. The first page sucked me in. I don't even know what to say. My mind is blown! I can't say that I'm surprised by any of it, but I'm definitely as lost and confused as Jen. I can't wait for the third book!

Jen is new to being a Reaper - and not very good at it. She's lived in purgatory for six months, trying to deal with her 'Reaper trainer' Sam's head - they are telepathically connected - while also trying to find her lover from Earth, Jack, whose soul seems to have gone missing. Little does she know that Jack is 'alive' and well, working at a pub in Purgatory, under the supervision of the nefarious Nulcifer. Romance blossoms, though not in the way that Jen planned it and before you can say 'love ...more

OMG!!!! I am totally speechless right now. From the very first page this book will grab you and doesn't let go. You feel such a connection with the characters you feel the same emotions they are feeling. Jen is still trying to figure out this reaper business. Her trainer Sam isn't helping that he can get inside her head. Sam and jen has a bonding no one can describe. When reapers start going up missing and leaving some humans in the last staging of reapings it's Sam and Jens job to finish it. Bu ...more

Reaper Madness took Jennifer’s story in a direction I hadn’t anticipated. I was expecting an urban fantasy primarily focusing on her new job as a reaper. Instead, Reaper Madness is a paranormal romance that focuses on her relationship with Sam, while dealing with her past feelings for Jack. The re

A Different Kind Of Story, But You Will Be Kept Interested..For Me A New Author To Watch For......

You Have Jennifer, new, and Telepathically linked to Sam ,one of the best reapers for earth months. But she has not reaped 1 soul. She keeps searching for Jack someone who died at the same time she did. But on one trip with Sam to reap the souls assigned by Death for that night, something started to draw her into the ground. Sam ran,Yelling" She is not the one you want, take me". But Jennifer could not

Reaper Madness is the second book in the series, Living Dead World.

The first, Living Dead Girl, introduces the reader the main characters – Jen and Jack. These two have a heated first encounter, which makes their love story very unexpected. While they are planning their future together, a woman with a fatal attraction to Jack plans Jen’s demise. I won’t give away too much about how Living Dead Girl ends, but let’s just say that both Jen and Jack end up in the afterlife.

Now, in Reaper Madness, Je

This is the second in a series and i would recommend reading in order.

Jen is in training to be a reaper after being tied to Sam but things are not going to plan. Jen is struggling with her training, Sam is keeping something from her and Jack is missing. Jen has decided so needs to move on and work out what is happening around her. Sam's relationship with Jen starts to change and he urges her to forget about Jack. Just as things sta

This book is just amazing. Living Dead Girl was "wow" and was a bit of a romance with some ghosts and zombies, while introducing the reapers. Reaper Madness takes the world to a whole new level of awesome. The world that is created is just fantastic. You have reapers, demons, the many levels of hell, and a cute little imp. Something has been happening to reapers and they are disappearing while on their missions, causing souls still attached to dead bodies. WHO THINKS OF THIS STUFF? In addition, ...more

Dear sweet baby Jesus, I think the author wants to kill me. I want you to know I'm pissed! I'm so mad at Jen with Sam and jack right now... And then I wanna cry because I know EXACTLY WHY they are in this problem right now. And then I wanna hug them all because they all need a hug. :)

This one is rough. It's a more emotional and darker realm here. The first book gave is Jen and Jack blooming into wordwrful love. Well, things change, Jen is linked to Sam. Sam is a manipulative bastard that turns o

I'm trying very hard not to give away too many spoilers here, but it's going to be difficult. The ending of Living Dead Girl was full of surprises!
Now that Jen is facing her punishment, being a reaper herself and bound to her mentor Sam, she's getting used to being undead. But she can't find Jack, and she desperately wants to see him. Jack, however, has amnesia, and doesn't even know who he was before the events that ended his life at that club on Halloween. To top it off, reapers are disappeari

I absolutely adored this book! As a huge Jack fan, I'm really loving his story. I also love the way the reapers work in this world. I've read a lot of stories involving reapers, but this one is easily my favorite. I loved the inclusion of death and the glimpses we got into the history of the reapers also, it was very well thought out.. I want to go on record and say I'm not a huge fan of Sam. In fact we should start the Team Sam, Team Jack debacle right now! I didn't like Jen as much in this one ...more

I was given an electronic copy of this book by the author for an honest review. Being the second book in the series, the newness has worn off, but that has made this book no less interesting than the first. The tour of the afterlife through the eyes of both Jen and Jack help to give a complete view of what life is like for souls, reapers, demons, deities and so on. I recommend this book to those who like paranormal or maybe even a twisted up love story. I cannot wait to read more about these cha ...more

Who knew life after death could be so intense? Nessie Strange has created another great book and for me this was even better than the first. Jen's torn between two men, one who's by her side constantly and another who cant remember who she is. I love the tension and the emotion in this story and enjoyed every minute of it.
