Mysterious, Mystical, and Sizzlin’ Hot!

I will start by saying this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Susan JP Owens has a knack for spinning a delightfully chilling tale that makes you want to finish the story all in one sitting.

I really enjoyed the realism behind each of her main characters. Her seemingly flawed hero, Cole, who battles his internal demons to come through for his bright shining star in the end. And the once bitten- twice shy heroine, Peyton, who attempts to push away the man

The Beginning Comes Quietly is the story of a young woman who is being tortured by a paranormal phenomenon that manifests itself when a serial killer has a victim in his clutches. This sizzling hot, sexy suspense thriller is not for the faint of heart! Read at your own risk knowing that the heroine, Peyton, feels the victims' pain at the time of death. Add a former fiance who has changed enough to realize he let her slip away foolishly and you also have steamy scenes that are beyond sizzling. Tr ...more

So much to like about this book. The intriguing title, the gripping cover, lines that make me figure out how to highlight on my Kindle like, "Most people never understood he'd struck the foil through their heart until they were left bleeding and gasping for their last breath."I love the premise of this book as well, seeing through the eyes of a murderer. There's not much that could be more chilling than that! Thank you, Susan J.P. Owens for a fun read!
