Mysterious, Mystical, and Sizzlin’ Hot!

I will start by saying this book kept me on the edge of my seat. Susan JP Owens has a knack for spinning a delightfully chilling tale that makes you want to finish the story all in one sitting.

I really enjoyed the realism behind each of her main characters. Her seemingly flawed hero, Cole, who battles his internal demons to come through for his bright shining star in the end. And the once bitten- twice shy heroine, Peyton, who attempts to push away the man she still loves to protect him from the evil that threatens to consume her soul.

They come together in a maelstrom of past emotion and twisted sheets to find their way down a rough path to redemption riddled with the life threatening attacks of a serial killer whose ties to the occult may cost Peyton her life.

If you enjoy a gripping, sinfully hot story with a plotline that will keep you guessing, then this story is for you.

The Beginning Comes Quietly is the story of a young woman who is being tortured by a paranormal phenomenon that manifests itself when a serial killer has a victim in his clutches. This sizzling hot, sexy suspense thriller is not for the faint of heart! Read at your own risk knowing that the heroine, Peyton, feels the victims' pain at the time of death. Add a former fiance who has changed enough to realize he let her slip away foolishly and you also have steamy scenes that are beyond sizzling. Trouble is, our heroine might not be around long enough to take Cole up on all his promises if the serial killer has his way. The Beginning Comes Quietly is gritty and erotic, graphic at times too, with a believable and chilling story line!

So much to like about this book. The intriguing title, the gripping cover, lines that make me figure out how to highlight on my Kindle like, "Most people never understood he'd struck the foil through their heart until they were left bleeding and gasping for their last breath."I love the premise of this book as well, seeing through the eyes of a murderer. There's not much that could be more chilling than that! Thank you, Susan J.P. Owens for a fun read!
