4 Max Savoie. Stars

An epic love story, a series about secrets, betrayal, family, loyalty, crime and consequences. The story of a cop and a crime boss. A shifter and his mate. Max and Charlotte.

There is absolutely nothing else I can say about this book, without giving away the plot and brilliance of the previous 7. Emotionally charged and heartbreaking, all our favourite heroes join forces to eliminate the threat to their lives and families.

If you are into shifters' stories, then this series

Remembered By Moonlight is an intense, emotionally charged story that continues the woes of Max and Cee Cee as they return to their high rise apartment, hoping that a familiar environment will help Max regain the memories he lost while held in captivity in The Chosen's lab. While Cee Cee yearns to resume the life with the mate she knew before his memories were erased, Max views her as a stranger, and for the foreseeable future, his prison guard. She's been warned to go slow, not to push, or risk ...more

I was lucky enough to win an ARC from the author here on GR!

Followers of the Moonlight series by Nancy Gideon will be thrilled with this latest release. After several installments where we've only had glimpses of Max and CeeCee, they are back in all their glory in Remembered by Moonlight. We pick up where we left off with Max having been robbed of his memories, but doubts soon surface as to whether or not this has been done to protect him as he was told. And this is just the tip of the iceberg o

Wow! The return of Max Savoie was worth every minute of the wait. An emotional roller coaster from beginning to end. A full review when I can be somewhat coherent....

The return of Max and Cee Cee is everything we were wishing and hoping for. Right out of the gate this story and gripping and emotional. We pick up where the last book left us, Max cannot remember his past and Cee Cee is in limbo - physically right next to her mate but emotionally a world away.

I'm going to try to review this book sans spoilers and too much gushing. But, this is one of my favorite series, so that might be close to impossible. Hehe!

Remembered by Moonlight was everything I had hoped for and more. The waiting was so worth it! Max and Cee Cee burn up the pages. Lordy, do they burn them up! It's full of so much hope and love and sexiness and I was dying the whole time! I was teary eyed from happiness, sadness, and then, um, other none-eye related st

Probably the best book in the series so far. I loved getting back to Max and Cee Cee and their heartbreaking situation. My only complaints about the story are that Silas came across like a giant asshole to Cale, the story arc with Geneieve was not really resolved and there is a bloody cliffhanger with the fight club etc... Always with the bloody cliffhangers in the series. I hope Kendra is in the next book because if I was her I would want to rip a few new assholes at being kept out of the loop. ...more

Would have been so much better if it were not for Cal's objectifying women to food. Fast food vs a dinner you want to come home to every night? I mean seriously?

I had reread the entire Moonlight series and enjoyed it more this time around. I'm much more understanding and sympathetic, and each character affects me more emotionally. Not many authors (to me) can write well developed characters, especially in long/on going series, characters that are uniquely different forcing you to care for each just as much as the MCs. Max and Charlotte kinda resembles Raphael and Cyn (Vampires in America by D.B. Reynolds)...but Max is definitely not as badass, though he ...more

You know I found the book kind of dragging. Not much excitement which barely held my interest.

Each story in the world of Charlotte Caddie and her lover, Max Savoie, just gets better and better as more of their past is peeled away and they learn who and what they are. Yet through it all, their love is unquestionable and undeniable, even though Max has had his memories stolen, he still loves Charlotte with a passion. We are also reintroduced to a magnificent cast of characters who are brought together to find out who is selling some very dangerous drugs to the shifter community. Cale T

An absolutely amazing series!!! The story of Max and Charlotte with their friends and unfolding family continue at lightening speed! Cannot read these stories fast enough!!! New alliances with Guedry's and the Terriot's in the battle they all face from the North. With the appearance of Max's aunt -(friend or foe?) along with the different shifter groups aligning things are getting down right intense!! I do not want to ruin this for anyone - just READ THE ENTIRE SERIES - you won't be disappointed ...more

Finally Max and Cee Cee are back.

Fans of the sizzling Moonlight series by Nancy Gideon have been waiting a while to find out what happened to sexy Max Savoie, the New Orleans crime boss turned hero and his lady love the brazen homicide detective Charlotte Caissie.

Nancy Gideon writes one-hell-of a story and she has created a great series beginning with Masked by Moonlight, where we first meet Max Savoie and Charlotte Caissie.

I was pleased to see Remembered by Moonlight released. I enjoyed the
Another great addition to Max & Charlotte's story. Includes the great cast of characters from all the previous books and I love that it includes Cale with his smart mouth. It's drawing in all the threads from shifters, to the North, to the chosen for a hopefully epic showdown. Main complaint is that this book seems a bit like filler and for the story with Max getting his memories back (disappointing that he went from being a wild animal trying to kill Charlotte due to his brainwashing in the pro ...more

Max doesn't really know who he is but some things he is sure of...He's a dangerous man.

Cee Cee wants her husband and mate back but she's also got to protect the family they've made together.

Remembered by Moonlight returns readers to Ms. Gideon's shifter world where not everyone is who they seem.

I loved getting back together with my favorite characters and getting to meet some of the extended family. I skipped the Moonlight books 7 & 8 because they were only available as e-reads and Nancy Gideon

When i dscovered this series from my girls i loved it. And most important i loved Max and C.C. They make and amazing couple. The chemistry and connection between this 2 was amazing, and i was waiting impatiently for this book. But sadly it hasn't worked out for me the way i expected to. All the way thru the book i had the impression i was reading about a dif couple. They had no connection what so ever. It was moments that i relly wnated to give up on it but i forced my self

I loved this book. It answered a lot of my questions about what happened to Max Savoie. He and Charlotte were the main characters of this whole series when it started out and it left Max hanging in limbo for quite some time before Ms. Gideon finally saw fit to finish off his story. It was a great ending and am so glad she wrote it. I was on the edge of my seat the whole book as there was a lot of action, passion, and finally memories coming back to Max. I laughed in spots and cried in spots for ...more

I only gave it a four because it wasn't long enough, I needed a little bit more because i love these characters so freaking much. I felt like Gideon was stretching to fill the book but some of the fun quirks of Cee Cee and Max were not there, I love Sha, so sexy and I felt like that would have maybe come earlier, and some of the fun things were there but Cee's so hard headed and so is Max that I felt lie he would have inserted himself more, been there in the shadows watching as he remembered him ...more

Love Max!!! Remembered by Moonlight by Nancy Gideon is a wonderful addition to the Moonlight series. It is one of my all time favorite series. It was incredible being able to read about Max and CeeCee again. The chemistry between these two characters has always been superb. Gideon creates an world where readers yearn to become a part of. This is a must read series!

What a story.

Max and Cece are a great couple they have a lot of road blocks set out to keep them from happiness but they keep getting closer. There a whole new generation is coming in the very near future. Can't wait to read the next chapter in this story.

I waited for another book with Charlotte and Max. Max forgot his memories and he slowly had to get them back. Now he has aunt he never knew comes to town. I absolutely loved this book and the ones before this one. Nancy Gideon is amazing author.

I am surprised at how much I am enjoying this series. The last several books focused on collateral couples, but now we return to the shifter king we met in the beginning Max. Or at least what was left of him. I knew he would be back.

What a combination--a shifter and a cop. Max Savoie is to die for and CeeCee is strong enough to rescue him. Nancy Gideon makes you believe in the impossible.
