Lover by Moonlight is an engaging erotic romance that takes the reader on a whirlwind of emotions, set against an idyllic backdrop of Oxford, the English countryside and Verona.

The story is essentially the sexual awakening of twenty year old Rosa as she falls in love for the first time. Complications arise as the object of her desire is her step brother, Roberto. Although her feelings are returned, Roberto embarks upon the subterfuge of pretending to be someone else, in order to make love to

I read two great romances this week - both very different. Kinsella's 'Wedding night' was fun, light and LOL hilarious (probably more 'chick-lit' than romance). Arden's 'Lover by Moonlight' is a more serious romance with plenty of sex scenes and lots of delving into the inner world of the two main characters. (Don't read this one if you like your romance light and funny).

Rosa, a student in Oxford England, is keen to finally dispose of her virginity and arranges a moonlight tryst with a gorgeous

'Lover by moonlight' contains sex scenes and adult themes, so don't read it if you prefer your romances sweet.
It's a story about Roberto, who steps in to save his stepsister Rosa from throwing herself away on a creep. Yet does he go too far? And was it fair of him to deceive her so badly? His redeeming quality is that he's loved her for years, a love which dares much and risks everything.

“You may not mean to, but you do seem to look down your nose at many of us mere mortals muddling along down here. I feel as though you think everyone should be better than they are. I certainly think you expect me to behave like some sort of perfect princess. But I’m just an ordinary girl who wants to grow up and find out where I belong in the world.” 2 likes
“I guess I’m just waiting for someone who makes me feel good – someone I can’t bear to be apart from. Juliet was so lucky to find her Romeo and I guess I’m just waiting for mine to turn up.” 1 likes
