Halloween Man tries to be a lighter and more sensitive version of Ash from the Evil Dead movies/comics, but the jokes fall flat and the characters are not very interesting. With some fine tuning Halloween Man and Lucy could be cool characters in a fun series with over the top silliness. As is, it is just average.
The best story is the Hack/Slash crossover. It pokes fun at the redundant crossover comic premise mixed with a parody of Marvel zombies.
The art varies by story and is pretty good to average.

This is some weird comics. Halloween Man is a guy who was turned into a vampire and then turned into a zombie to keep him from becoming a vampire. Now he and his scientist girlfriend fight monsters in Solar City. There's a crossover with Hack/Slash and some art by Nicola Scott and David Baldeon in here. Not bad.
