I'm currently in a reading slump and cannot digest anything except fan fiction. So, oops.
This is one of my faves and I chose to reread again because Harry Styles as a prince is what my heart was yearning to find. I loved this Olivia Pope-ish situation, too. Louis made me cry so hard at 3 in the morning. It is one of the best feelings you can get from reading, I think.
Hopefully, I will be able to face my gigantic TBR pile soon.

Over this past year I’ve really let the fan-fictions slide. But that’s now over because they bring me joy and we all need more of that in our lives.
Wear it Like a crown was a great gateway back into the genre as it encompasses everything I adore about it.
First of all, we’re already familiar with the characters, know and love their personalities. Therefore, the reading experience feels comforting, almost like coming home.
The love between the characters is also evident, both romantic and platonic. It’s a nice change to read about strong, non-toxic friendship bonds where everyone is understanding and offers emotional support easily; another reason why 1D fan-fictions are a favourite of mine.
Zarah5 uses her platform to discuss more serious topics, as well. Both this work and Pull me under have a strong emphasis on queer public figures as role models; I only wish there would be more of those in real life too. Poverty and living on the streets are two other prominent topics. I particularly liked how, in this regard, the savior complex was abandoned and helping to safe oneself became the priority. (More trigger warnings include homophobia and sex work.)
Furthermore, the story shows the importance of honesty. Louis keeps a lot from Harry throughout the book, with good reason but still it pulls them apart time and time again. It’s only once they put their full trust in one another that they can move forward in their relationship.
Lastly, there were several mentions of the World Cup 2014. While this might be a small detail to others, it made my football loving heart flutter.
Overall, this only solidified my love for fan-fiction.

I couldn't finish this one, unfortunately. I didn't even get that far, to be honest. The main character was SO rude and so ridiculously annoying in the beginning I knew I'd never warm up to him. DNF.

Decidí leer está fic porque la sinopsis tenía similitud con Young royals (y realmente eso fue lo que me llamo la atención) en esencia si empezó así pero después la historia tomo su propio rumbo y me gustó bastante.
Los personajes de H y L me encantaron, siento que tenían bastante química pero lo que más me sorprendió es que la relación Ziam LA AME, regularmente las parejas secundarias no me importan mucho pero está relación (a pesar de no tener tanto enfoque) cada vez que salían no podía evitar emocionarme.
Harry es súper lindo y el desarrollo de personaje de Louis, a mí parecer, tuvo mucho impacto en la historia.
La amistad Lilo en esta fic es superior.
Cita favorita: "Desearía que alguien le hubiera dicho a tu yo más joven que está bien aceptar ayuda"

nul - ok j’argumente.
Lecture ennuyante, les personnages sont ok mais je trouve ça assez relou le fait qu’ils soient toujours ensemble (liam, niall, louis, harry, zayn) c’est chiant ok??? moi ça m’a gonflé. Ensuite ! c’est une fiction que j’ai envie de lire depuis 2018 et j’en attendais beaucoup, je suis vraiment déçue par la banalité de l’histoire, c’est dommage pour moi :/
J’ai vraiment l’habitude de me lancer à fond dans les livres que je lis et la lecture était plus une corvée qu’autre chose. Il est rare pour moi de ne pas aimer une fic mais celle ci, ouah ! chaud!
C’était tout simplement plat et ça m’a gonflé.
Malgré tout, Louis est mimi, j’aime trop comment il parle mon mimi, et Harry overthink beaucoup c’était intéressant à lire.

Decent book though one of the less plausible takes on Royal/non-royal romance. I ADORE the relationship building between friends in this book though. The description of physicality that is non-sexual was absolutely wonderful and I'm glad that it is out there for folks to share in.

Love this story so much. Read in a day.
Louis' and Harrys characters are very great. Louis' development is very interesting. Also, I love that a little bit of Ziam was in there. The humour doesn't come too short next to the more serious topics

Es muy frustrante, en el buen sentido la mayoría de las veces. Y aunque hay realeza no se centra en la realeza, sino más bien en la exposición social. No hay grandes cosas pero es lo bonito de lo simple.

diosss, por fin lo terminé, sin duda fue muy pesado pero la historia en sí es buena, muy cliché lo cual me encanta, quizás no era este el momento para mí para leerlo porque de verdad me costó demasiado, pero no por eso la historia es mala.

Meh. Siento que partió bien y no terminó tan interesante. Esperaba una pseudo Rojo, blanco y Sangre azul y pudo serlo, pero todo fue muy idílico.

More angsty than zarah5's usual fics but I still liked it. Since, I like literally every damn thing she writes. Also I listened to the 8tracks mix too many times than the ok amount of mix listening.
