Only Shaggy and Scooby-Doo would think that a bunch of aliens have taken over a football stadium! This is a fun book in the Scooby-Doo! Readers series. It's short, with lots of colorful illustrations and the mystery is not scary. We all love Scooby-Doo, so these books are a particular favorite at storytime. We enjoyed reading this story together.
March 2022 update: I purchased a 12-book set (the Scooby-Doo! Read & Solve series) and read each one again.
“Scooby-Doo” by Gail Herman #14 – Football Fright Fun story by Gail Herman accompanied by colourful illustrations. Suitable for very young audiences as it's not too scary but enough mystery to be engaging.
i mean as far as scooby doo goes in general, i would say that this one in particular in not bad at all. Although, it gets cheezier and cheezier the longer you read it....
This was another good Scooby Doo book, Level 2 reader. The 'monster' wasn't really a monster in the end so wouldn't scare young readers-listeners. But written very well to keep interest going...and who can't like Scooby Doo??? :)
