When it comes to relationships, I have really bad luck. Each time I meet a guy, I cross my fingers and hope he is at least halfway normal. I’m so tired of dealing with crybabies and freak shows that I could just scream. At this point, I’m so close to just joining a convent, taking the vow of chastity, and calling it quits with men entirely. Well, I probably don’t need to g ...more

So what can I say about this book? I honestly have not laughed this hard in a long time I mean choking, snorting, tears running down your face you have to stop reading because you think you are going to die you are laughing so hard! Then just when you think you've calmed down enough to pick your Kindle back up and start reading where you left off it just starts all over again and the thing is that as you are reading it you know this is real life stuff that you can see happening and that just mak ...more

It s been a long time since I didn t laugh that much!
This book was sweet, funny and perfect after a really dark story.
You must be warned that the scenes that made me laugh would have probably made a 12 yo boy pee in his pants... That s my sense of humour... Well what can I say? It s totally out of my control...!
However the plot revolved around a serious subject, and was really well dealt with.

A nice read for an afternoon at the beach!

Contemporary Romantic Comedy. Stands Alone.

I must start my review here by saying that I know the author, she was a huge help at Wicked Book Weekend, but I never knew she could write! When she first told me she was writing a book, my thought was “Oy, I like her so much, but what if I don’t like the book?" She never seemed like an author (what does an author ‘seem like’ I don’t know.) I guess because I knew her before she even thought about writing a book, it

I loved this book. Sasha had everything I could want in a romance. It was funny, witty, sexy, realistic, emotional and swoon worthy. I laughed and cried as I read this book. I finished it in one sitting because it was so easy to read and just plain addictive. I was delightfully surprised as the story unfolded. Rae Matthews did a stellar job on this. I can’t wait to read more of this series.

Sasha is book one in the Mixed Drinks Series. This story is told in one person POV. I would recommend this book to others but it was not one of my favorite stories to read, it seemed a little rushed and at times that the information that was given to you in Sasha's POV was a little teenage like when she is supposed to be 24 years old. But in all there was a good plot and I think it earned a 3.5 stars. I did find it humorous on multiple occasions and I did really like Bash the main male characte

This is one of those laugh out loud, you can totally see it happen in your life kind of books! I loved it from beginning to end... My husband was yelled at for interrupting me in the middle of the "old balls" scene when I was laughing so hard I was crying..

Sasha is a bartender in a normal everyday bar in a normal everyday town with 2 BFFs that love and support her. The love between these women is the best, you want to get to know them and be in their group. She meets the "stallion" when he save

I loved this book!

Sasha is a bartender looking for love, but hates ending up with weirdos and when she meets Bash, he has a secret that could end their relationship before it had even begun. The story throws them so many obstacles their way, and I was really rooting for them and Sasha needs to overcome them or the relationship wont last.

I found it laugh out loud funny, maybe because I could relate to the 24 year old drunkenness. The thing I loved the most about it, was that although it was funn

This book is on my list of funniest reads of the year so far!

The main female character is Sasha, who the book is named after. She is a bartender at the Broken Jukebox and does not have any luck with men whatsoever. She is a hilarious mess of untamed thoughts and a no filter mouth which makes for a fantastic read.

Sasha meets the man of her dreams in the bar one day when he comes to pick up his Grandpa George and she nicknames him “Stallion Man”. She doesn’t even meet him properly due to the scene

We all have our own experiences with disaster dates, seemingly normal guys turning into freak shows, and “OMG is this my life?!” moments and for that this book is very relatable. We all dish over coffee or lunch with our friends about that “Mr. Wondering Eyes” or whatever nickname fits your situation… right?

Sasha is an easy read, funny and witty. It’s the type of book good for when you just want to shut your brain down and read about a sweet romance with characters that aren’t typical and will m

I don't really know what to say about this book. There wasn't anything that I explicitly disliked that I could put my finger on, but there wasn't anything that I really loved, either.

On paper, I should love this book. I love lighthearted humor. I love sarcastic and sassy heroines. I love male heroes that aren't tortured and are genuinely good guys. But maybe my issue was with the execution?

There was a bit of humor. It was the type of humor I normally like, bu

Wow, Sasha is a great read!! It's one of those books where you will find yourself laughing out loud a lot. I started reading Sasha is bed and I had to get up and go out to the palor so I wouldn't wake anyone up. It's not all laughs though, it does have it's serious parts too.

My kingdom for a condom!! When Sasha Michaels and Sebastian (Stallion Man, Bash) Edwards met, chemistry started a reaction in both of them. Sasha, a bartender in a local bar, was having a little trouble with George, Bash’s grandfather. Bash came to the rescue and defused the situation. Their short introduction started Sasha’s erotic fantasies into overdrive. She was both sexually and socially frustrated. A week later the two met again at a beach party and the fantasies came close to realities. C ...more

I absolutely positively LOVED this book! I have never laughed so hard in my life! Sasha is a great character and very funny.

Sasha is a bartender who has a horrible track record with guys. She is looking for the right guy and she thinks she finds it in Bash. This sexy, brown-eyed guy she meets and can't get out of her mind. The only problem, Bash has a complicated secret that might break up Sasha and Bash before they have even begun. I won a copy of this book in an online contest/giveaway.

'Sasha' was a book about a 24 year-old who has bad luck in the love department and has a chance encounter with a guy named Bash in his late 20's whom she falls in lust with. She formally meets him at a beach party a little while later and they hit it off.

I thought this was a cute love story. At first, I thought Sasha was a bit immature and then I realized I didn't act much differently when I was 24 (I'm now 34). She seemed to have a great

This was such a fun book to read. Sasha is a character that I think a whole lot of your women could see a little of themselves in. She was so easy to relate to. Everyone has some funny dating stories and Sasha is not immune. She works in a job and seems to be stuck in a rut. Her friends and all of the characters are well written as well and you feel like you know them. Sasha has a cute habit of naming her boyfriends and her nickname choices are so spot on. She also has a very funny inner voice t ...more

**I received an ARC for an honest review.**

This book is so freaking hilarious and SEXY too. I can not count the number of times that I actually laughed out loud. The main character Sasha is just too funny and prone to embarrassing herself. I gave the four stars just because at times the main character was a tad self centered a annoying, but she owned it and made up for it. She has a great personality and by the end of the book I did love her. Bash was pretty easy to love too. What a stand up guy

You will fall in love with all the characters and find yourself wishing you ad friend like them.

In the beginning Sasha came off as a nympho; I almost quit reading because she was just too shallow, whiny and bitchy. However, as the story progressed she matured and changed which is what I like in a character and story line. Her voice/way of saying things was funny and memorable, as were some of the other characters in her life. At times I felt the author was trying too hard to be funny, and that without the funny scenes this romance would not have been particularly interesting (unless we got ...more

This book had me cracking up from the beginning, this is a must read!

You first meet Sasha, who deeply wants to find "the one", but life throws her some weirdo losers.

Unexpectedly, Sasha meets Bash, a sexy grandson of one her regulars at the bar she bar tends at. She falls hard and fast, but as luck would have it, he has skeletons in the closet. The story takes you through their journey and if the secrets will matter to Sasha.

At 24, Sasha seems mature for her age and I absolutely Loved her person
