This book is a fabulous resource. I have found it practical, with easy to follow activities. Love it!

Great selection of ideas for sharing the magic of nature with children. Each part comes with a story example for inspiration, a mini lesson plan, interesting "Did You Know?" thoughts, adaptation ideas, and a thick selection of pertinent resources. All of the writing, especially the stories, is rich with the wonderment and create the perfect atmosphere.

Some of the ideas and stories are great, but it is organized in a fashion that doesn't flow. Activities start in the middle of pages instead of allowing a teacher to quickly browse and find activities they need. A better resource for parents/scout leaders/summer camp leaders as few of the ideas could be adapted into a traditional classroom.
