3 - "Stick with me. We'll lose control together." Stars.

Making over the Billionaire is a sexy fashionista style romp around Italy, and its high-end, designer elite. Rome and the delights of Naples figure quite a lot in the sexy journey that Layla Langham and Giorgio Borhlenghi take together.

”We don’t outsource to foreigners.”

Layla being an American has pretty much used her last Dollar to travel to Italy to try and persuade the owners of the House of Borhlenghi to take a chance on her and the

Making Over the Billionaire is one of those lose-yourself reads; beautiful setting, low-drama, endearing characters, heat and passion, with fun and touching moments scattered throughout. Joan Kilby has brought us a promising start to her new series.

At the helm of the family empire, all work and no play makes Georgio Borhlenghi a bit of a dull boy. Until American Layla Langham waltzes into his life determined to persuade him that foreign designers have a place in the fashion arm of the business.

Making over the billionaire is a wonderful book to read and I couldn’t recommend it enough!

The story is very original and the characters are well developed. The book is a delight and actually pretty fun, empowered with beautifully written sexy steamy scenes that took our breaths away!

The book had its amazing moments and its good moments, which is why I gave it 4 stars..

Like I said, the story is very original. And it’s one of the best things about it. Avid readers, like me, read almost tons of

Layla is pinning everything she is as a designer to sign with the house of Borhlenghi. She has used her last dime to get rent a house during fashion week and when she sees the head designer next door she doesn't hesitate to pop on over to introduce herself.

Little does she know that the Giorgio Borhlenghi isn't going to allow an American or any outsider into the business no matter what his sisters might have for an idea. His sisters get together and plan a little match making between the two.

This was my first book by Joan Kilby and will not be my last. The story of Giorgio and Layla was fun, spicy and full of chemistry. Their banter was hilarious and sharp. I loved the way she would not bow down to his controlling ways. Layla made him likable. She was very strong and independent. She stuck up for herself regardless of the outcome. Giorgio was very intense and controlling, but he finally remembered he had a nice side too. The scenery of the book was beautiful. The intimate scenes ...more

Layla Langham is determined to be the first American designer at House of Borhlenghi. She has used all her resources to accomplish her goal. Unfortunately she failed. Giorgio Borhlenghi refuses to consider her. His three sisters decide to meddle. They want their workaholic brother to be happy. What happens when he and Layla spend time together on his yacht is sensual and erotic. I loved the characters. Layla and Giorgio make a wonderful couple. Their passion extends to everything they do. I immediately liked Layla. She was fun and ambitious. She had a lot going for her, least of which was that she was from Seattle. I love the way she handled Giorgio. She made him see things, feel things, that he hadn’t in almost a decade. I really enjoyed the way the book played out. I wasn’t sure how Layla and Giorgio were going to come together, it seemed nearly impossible in the beginning given how rigid and boring Giorgio was. It was nice to see him relax and become the man he was before his ...more
