A man without a face infects the lives of others, becoming the person he discovers to be most interesting, feasting on their flaws, peering into their peculiarities in order to fulfill their meaningless desires. The main protagonist of the novel has lost his identity in favor of, much like a genie, being able to adopt, accentuate, and adorn the identities of others. He can ...more

When you have the face of any other, you sometimes run out of clever things to say and your only hope is that someone else gets more out of the book than you, as its author, ever could.

In addition to that, the title fit the plot perfectly. As for the content, the blurb was interesting; it was as original as it could be. I was not disappointed, but I was not greatly satisfied either.

Even though this book failed to become one of my favorite books, it still took me out of my reading slump. It contained short "chapters" with titles for
