Leeanna Morgan is a USA Today bestselling author. She lives in New Zealand surrounded by green hills on one side and the ocean on the other. She enjoys going for long walks, especially if she can convince her husband and two children to go with her!
Leeanna writes contemporary romances set in Montana. Her books contain all of the things that are important to her; good friends, family, a strong sense of community, and a happy ending.
I really liked the author's style of writing. There wasn't a whole lot to the plot, but it was an easy read. For me, the relationship didn't really work though. It kind of felt like they were settling for each other. I liked each character, just not sure if I liked them together.
A nice continuation of the series has a heroine with trust issues. She's been burned one to many times by her father and paid a heavy price. She has to confront her fears and learn to forgive and move on with her life.
What a fantastic and fun, sweet romance. I absolutely adore this Montana Brides series by Leanna Morgan. Her writing is so amazing and swoons you right off into a different stratosphere. I love how she writes, her style really suits my romance mood and I love how she creates these really loveable and likeable characters that could easily be a friend of yours. And the town of Bozeman, well I need to pack up sticks and go find it on the map and head on over. Honestly, this is my favorite series ever and I can't get enough of her books. When I am done, no doubt I will read them all over again. This is a second chance romance Emily and Alex's story. Oh and he is definitely one grumpy, swoony bull riding MMC Blurb Emily Scotson's dream is to open her own fashion boutique in downtown Bozeman. Finding the perfect building isn't a problem. I absolutely love this book, book 6 of Montana Brides. Alex Green is recovering once again from getting hurt while bull riding. He knows he done and has to make a second choice about what he is going to do next, but he needs to stay busy. He ends up with an old flame in a joint venture if a burned-out build that once use to be an old library.
Emily Scotsman needs new space for her growing business, but can't get funding on her own and won't ask her family. The bank won't lend her the money and Alex needs a new project to keep himself busy. They join force's in this business venture.
Alex and Emily are not new when it comes to love. Will they make it the second time?
I'm really struggling with this one. And it's more like three and a half stars for me. On the one hand, it's a cute second chance romance. On the other hand, certain things with the plot confused me or it felt like we jumped around a little bit. There was a chandelier and then there was another chandelier, but it felt like the first chandelier had been forgotten. I don't think that's a spoiler. And even though I understand the reasons why Emily was the way she was, she still really, really irritated me. So on the one hand I enjoyed it, but on the other hand I was frequently puzzled and frustrated. There were also a few typos.
Didn’t finish. It’s probably an okay cutesy read but it was hard to get into. I’ve read books where authors have this writing style and it’s too jarring for me. Where a character says one sentence then the author goes into a whole explanation behind what the character just said. And then another sentence is said followed by yet another long explanation and repeat over and over and it’s just not pulling me in because the author has to keep pausing the story to explain her story. It feels choppy and boring. And I’m just not loving Alex or Emily that much. They seems bland so far. Maybe they get better as the story goes along but I just don’t want to keep going.
This is a charming and clean romance. I do like L. Morgan’s writing style; and I like Montana settings. I’m glad it was set in the larger city of Bozman vs Marietta, cause I can’t imagine this high-end a fashionista boutique in a smaller cowboy town. Still a stretch for a cowboy and what appears to be headed for high-end NYC fashion designer. But, whatever, let go and accept the premise. The story is worth it. The deal with her dad has the potential for a follow-on story with her brother as the focus. It does have some updates on prior story partnerships.
Forever Cowboy - A Small Town Romance (The Montana Brides Book 5) By Leeanna Morgan - I really enjoyed this book, I didn't realise it was the 5th in a series and it definitely can be read as a stand alone. Beautiful realistic small town romance, and easy to read right from the first page. Emily is an amazing designer with a dream that she needs a little help to make come true. Cue Alex, hot country cowboy and world renowned Bull Rider! Two worlds apart in their jobs but they make a wonderful team. This book is about love, romance and second chances.
Forever Cowboy is the story about Emily and Alex. They used to date until Emily caught another woman with her arms around Alex and didn’t care to hear Alex’s explanation. As you read this story, you’ll learn why Emily has trouble trusting men. When Alex is injured and returns to Bozeman, will they get a second chance? Grab your copy and see what makes this a fantastic addition to this series.
Emily and Alex dated 2 years ago. She thought he cheated, she was wrong, and wouldn't let him explain, he was crushed, she was devastated. He's back healing from an injury. Now it's on. Can he get her to speak with him? This was interesting and not all my questions were answered. Still a good read. Sweet and sexy.
Beautifully written story with the best characters. Sweetness through the whole story, sadness in learning all over again how to love someone you care for but do not trust. Hope is something you live with when want things you know might take a while to get. Happiness is what you make of it. Enjoy.
I really enjoyed this book. It does have your HEA but ya have to wait for it. Loved the characters , both the new ones and the old ones. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series.
Story will keep anyone's attention that reads it. Emily tries to hold on to life and seems to be afraid of the future. Family and friends know they're made for each other, but they cannot get life together.
Alex and Emily had a short hot romance. A misunderstanding broke them apart. As the story unfolds we see that she has serious trust issues. His hang ups are tied to his family legacy of bull riding.
A sweet story of two people who were in love but lost their way because careers and family problems got in the way. Present day hey ate in the same place at the same time and hey both realize maybe they can get back what they had lost.

The way Emily and Alex's story unfolded was so sweet and just right! The explanation for why Emily had difficulty trusting anyone was very believable and more understandable that the storylines of some books in this genre.
Such a sweet book! Emily is a small town girl who had her heart broken by Alex. Alex is a world famous hill riding champion who has been injured one to many times and needs to retire from the circuit. When they begrudgingly go into business together their old spark reignites. Beautiful love story!
I love cowboy romances and this book did an outstanding . this was a heartwarming story of dreams, stress, and goal that they struggled yo meet and they did in the best way.
A god second chance romance and second chances in life. The both had big decisions to make, about life, learning to trust, and where they want to be. Great friends and family overall an enjoyable easy read
This book was filled with so more much excitement getting the boutique ready and Gracie having her baby. Also Alex and Emily getting back together. I am looking forward to reading how all this works out.
This author can write a series of books and still manage to develop each story on its own. The characters are interesting, and the delightful happenings are great.
