I enjoyed it quite a bit; Durrant has good stories that kept me interested. I always love hearing/reading about what works and what doesn't when raising a family, perhaps because I hope to apply all the good advice to raising my own family in the future. A fun little read for anyone who anticipates marriage, who is just begining a family and even for those who have already raised their family.
This book is very old fashioned and I loved it. Brother Durrant has a very gentle way of expressing things. He begins at how to know if the person you are dating is the right person to marry and then gives ideas to create a happy home. My favorite chapter (although I loved them all) is the one about Family Home Evening.
