Meet Ethan Kovac and Isaac Duncan, co-stars of the new sitcom, One Way or Another. Ethan's ditching a career full of terrible tween movies, while Isaac needs to cash in some of his 'serious actor' cred for, well, cash. Ethan's gay and closeted and not happy about it. Lights, Camera, Celebrity Affair!
A sinfully hot and yet incredibly sweet romance!
There's nothing sensible about what he's thinking. They should be staying far far away from each other...
Each episode in this series is short enough to be considered a chapter once they are compiled into this collection. Reading the One Way or Another series from beginning to end was fabulous! No waiting for the next book, no cliffhangers - the perfect way to enjoy Ethan & Isaac's whirlwind Hollywood E

4.5 Stars for this contemporary gay romance.

Ethan Kovacs is an adult actor battling his reputation as a former Disney sensation. Oh, and he's a closeted gay man, though it's pretty well assumed he's gay (due to the MANY MANY leaks from one-night stands). He's working on the pilot for a primetime sit-com, acting as a gay man, and has a deep attraction to his straight co-star, Isaac Duncan. Is

Meet Ethan ( gay), Issac ( straight) and Sam ( a girl), three of the stars from the new comedy show One Way or Another.
Issac and Sam share an apartment in the show and Ethan , playing the gay neighbor moves in next door.
At the Golden Globe nominations, Ethan walks into the bathroom and onto Issac masturbating at the urinals. One thing leads to another and Ethan gives Issac a helping hand.
The 2 of them gradually become an item on

I really enjoyed this story! Ethan and Isaac had such great chemistry as friends before getting involved, and it helped their relationship solidify as lovers. Samantha was a great minor character and I liked the dynamics between the 3 friends. I do with there was a bit more in the way of Isaac's discovery of attraction to Ethan since he had not had any gay tendencies previously. Additionally, I really wish the story gav

This is a quick MM interracial (if that matters to you) romance read for a day when you are feeling tired and want to escape for an hour or two, but don’t want to be put through an emotional wringer.
Issac (black male lead), Sam (white female lead), and Ethan (white male lead) are all co-stars in a TV sit-com. At the start of this book, Ethan is a closeted gay and Issac is discovering he is bi with Ethan, although he has only had female partners before. (Some people may classify this as

First off, I had a lot of trouble with the present tense. It feels somewhat juvenile to me, though I can't say why. The writing is good, but this choice on the author's part brought down my rating for writing style. I hope she keeps writing, because I'm sure she could do a great job with a longer story format, rather than these 5 shorts.

This story as a whole is difficult to rate. While each of the shorter elements work

There's a weird line between not giving enough information at the beginning and information dumping. I found this book to err a little more towards the former. While I'm typically okay with learning about the characters as the story progresses, there are certain things I prefer knowing so I can have a rough image in my head. In this case, for the first 1/4th of the book, I really had no idea what was going on. After that awkwa

Ethan Kovac and Isaac Duncan meet as co-stars on the newest hit sitcom One Way or Another and sparks fly. After an encounter in the bathroom at an after party, they begin a relationship, keeping it a secret from everyone around them. Ethan has always been closeted, but for Isaac, this is new. I liked the premise and it was well written, keeping my interest throughout. I loved the endi

A solid 3 stars.

If my review had a title, it would be “I would totally watch this show!”

I’ve got to be honest and saw that I wasn’t initially hooked on the story after the first few pages.
Despite the amazing blurb…the beginning felt too rough and full of Hollywood tropes…the strung-out actor meets the goody-too-shoes actor and falls madly in lust. I found myself shaking my head at Ethan’s se

Ethan Kovac is a gay closeted tv-star, who have just been cast in a new sitcom. He is in lust with his straight co-star Isaac Duncan. One thing leads to another and the two end up having an affair, whilst trying to deal with the press, unhappy co-stars and sleezy directors.

This was a cute and quick read, although it felt a bit choppy. The writing was flowing nicely and was easy to follow. But the present tense never end

[DBML Event: I received a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review]

Ethan and Isaac are both actors and they find themselves acting in the same TV series "One Way or Another". Ethan is gay but, even if everyone suspects it, he's not out. Isaac is straight and everyone knows it...'till Ethan that is!

This is - as you could guess - a gay-for-you story but, contrary to many stories in the genre, there's very little drama in this one: Isaac doesn't need a lot of convincing to admit his attra

I really enjoyed this book, and even if I found that it was written in the present tense, a bit jarring at first, after a few pages I got past that. It had some minor issues, like some missing words here and there, and on the first half of the book it was a bit difficult at times to determine whose POV we were getting. I think the dual POV didn't quite work until the second half of the book, where we really got to read more of Isaa

This book was just what I needed after a heavy emotional read. It was light, cute, and most importantly, sexy read.

Ethan is a former child actor in the new breakout series of the season. He is still in the closet; though it might be more of a shallow closet or see through closet. Everyone pretty much assumes he's gay even though he hasn't come out.

Isaac is also a part of this new breakout series who wants his star to shine brighter. He's African-American and is no stranger to having his personal

Thank you for the first-reads copy!

Overall, I very much enjoyed the book. It was an easy read with lots of steamy sex (almost too much!). A little short on description, but then, I always want more description. The characters were well-rounded and had strong connections with more than just the main two guys. I enjoyed the side story with their fellow female actor.

If you are looking for a bubblegum read of steamy sex and a strong sense of place without a ton of angst - this is the book for you.

This book was given to me free in exchange for an honest review.

All in all, the plot was good and I liked the characters.

There were some POV issues for me. There were times when I thought one character was speaking and then realized that it was the other. It was confusing.
It was a short read and I think well done for build up for a short book. I appreciate that the interracial relationship was not beat to death, but not ignored either. It was tastefully done!

I really enjoyed this series, lots of hot sexy times between the main male characters with an interesting side plot behind the scenes of a tv show including the issues gay actors face being out/coming out. Great supporting characters too. Lots of fun.

Jade Cain writes what turns her on: hot men in uniform, confident women who know what they need, the heady feeling of lust when you realize you're about to get everything you ever wanted. She writes (and reads) about lovers of all genders who laugh together--and sometimes at each other. Sex is fun, and often silly, and her works celebrate that humor alongside the heat.
