An absolute favourite! I love Ivan and his pony. An interesting trivia - in this book, the Czar dips into a barrel of milk (to grow young) and comes out safely, though unchanged in years. In the version I read in a Russian book from the Soviet era, he jumps into boiling milk and is cooked. Was it sanitising on the part of the comic book publishers, or killing the Czar in the interest of communism on the part of the Russian publishers?
