3 - "You're not my type." Stars.

Derek Wescott, Prince of Hell, has been signed up to a dating website by his Minions in the hope that getting him laid will loosen him up, and make him a more fun-guy to be around. His mother wants grand-babies to carry on the Wescott line, and his sister wants to take his job, so he is feeling the pressure somewhat!

Much to his surprise, the woman that they manage to set him up with is neither interested in him, his charms or in the opportunity of getting laid!

Few can say their family business is ruling the varying levels of hell. Nor can many admit to having Cerberus, Minos and Phlegyas as their 'staff'. Derek Wescott can. He commands the eighth circle of hell and wants the ninth. His mum has a caveat though - a grandchild. Not happening when the Prince of Hell is single, something his three minions decide to rectify. Loved the overall story, I do wish the author could have added more details of the Underworld towards the end. I still highly recommend it, will certainly be reading more from the author in the future. :)

Derek is a prince of hell and lately he's been a little bored with his work, punishing white-collar criminals has become a bit tedious. He's become such a drag at work that his minions set up an online dating profile for him, because in no uncertain terms, they believe he "needs to get laid", they know Derek won't go along with it so they bet him he can't get laid. Talk about a kicker to start off the story.

Derek is a prince of hell, but trust me he's not that scary and comes across as a good guy with a huge ego.

Jaclyn is a kind hearted women, who runs a kids charity, her friend Trish decides she needs a date... So sets her up with Derek.

Jaclyn knocks him for six when they meet up, not because of her looks, which she's played down, but because she tells him there's no point in their date as his not her type lol. Derek talks her round and offers her a bet, and that where it all starts

This a fun read

Favorite Quote: “Let me get this straight. You’ll stick your hands in my pants and take my money, but you won’t sit down and have a cup of coffee with me?” And “Some dogs didn’t have a problem with him, others tried to eat his face off.”

This was so damn fun to read! Yes it’s light-weight and frothy and entertaining! The tagline from the blurb sold me: The Prince of Hell needs to get laid. Snort. Seriously? It was so putzy that I had to give it a chance and I am supremely glad I did. D

I know with Entangled what I’ll be getting, a fun read, well written and easy to follow. No deep dark dramas, I love those, but sometimes what I need is something undemanding, mental relaxation and this book delivers. Its a mix of humour, and sadness, laughter and tears, gentle drama and quality characters. Its got a serious side too among the flippancy, when Derek targets those who’re making money from child labour, slavery

Derek has been in a bad mood for about 100 years (or so his minions think). So they have the brilliant idea of setting him up on a blind date through an online dating site. Now, as a prince of hell, Derek doesn't like the idea too much but follows through when they bet him he can't get her to sleep with him. Now I know, I know, we're all thinking "what a jerk". But Derek is really such a sweetheart. His job is to punish people in the corporate world that do bad deeds.

Awwww. The Prince of Hell has a soft side, and he finds it along with enticing banter and increasing lust with Jaclyn.

Derek, The Prince of Hell has been set up my his minions for a date because they believe he is crabby and unhappy and therefore believe that he has to rectify this by getting laid. However the girl that they had picked is a mousy little thing who tells him straight off that he is not her type.

Ok honestly I could not put this book down. I started to read it and became so lost in the story that I did not stop until I was done.

The minions decide to set up the prince from hell, AKA Derek, on a dating website and bet him he can't get the girl in bed. Did I mention he hates to loose? At the same time Jaclyn's friend pushes her to pick a date from the same website. You guessed it she picks the prince from hell.

Now Jaclyn thinks the "drooler" as she calles him, due to his very unflattering

Jaclyn runs a non profit day care to help families who need it. She has been there, and knows exactly what it is like. Her best friend Tami sees to the donations and the books, and Jaclyn does the day to day operations. Its perfect but Jaclyn just would like a little extra money for some playground equipment.

Derek is the prince of Hell and his job is to monitor those who are behaving extremely bad and take care of it. His mom doesn't appreciate the care he takes on his jobs and would like speed

Derek Wescott, the Prince of Hell, ends up on online date site. His minions want him to relax and think sex is the answer so now he has a date with Jaclyn Reynolds. After a very bad start, these two end up lovers. Neither wants anything long term. However, their desire takes over. These characters are memorable. Derek is a demon with a heart. Jaclyn is a caring woman who needs to be loved. Their romance is very sensual. I love their passion and their snappy dialogue. His meddling family and frie ...more

I normally do not read paranormal stories. They are normally to far off the edge of reality for me to stay engaged, but I am happy to report that I actually really enjoyed reading this book a lot and I wouldn't mind reading any other books the author comes out with. The book was an easygoing, not too heavy on the Paranormal kind of read. It was actually kinda cute! lol The drama was more comical than dramatic and it had cute little twist and turns to the story. Hot cover equals me reading the book. Okay do Derek he's cocky obviously, "why not? You don't want to make love to me here in the back of this car, and I can understand that, sort of. I mean it does have imported leather seats and the best Persian carpet money can buy-" Jaclyn, I don't think she means to be but that girl can be a little temptress, "she took the cherry off the top and pulled the stem out in a most seductive way. He was going to come in his pants." I mean the questions that girl c ...more

I did not know what to think at first. Derek sounds hot and like an ass in the beginning. Both him and Jacklyn are set up on a dating web site. Derek has made a bet with his minions. Being the prince of hell has its advantages. Powers...Just none he can use on his date lol. Jacklyn is funny and blunt. She give Derek's ego a good slap and he takes that as a challenge. This read was an okay read for me. The story was good. It felt a little rushed at the end, but still enjoyed it.

This book was a devilish delight ;)
First you have the Prince of Hell running a business where he punishes those who do do bad things. Second his minions sign him up on a dating site for which they make a date with a woman they believe to be homely. Like this hot, sexy devil needs help getting a date.
From this point on you will find yourself panting for this outrageously gorgeous man or laughing out load at the witty banter between characters. This was a fun and entertaining book that I did not w

This was a light, quick, read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the way Cooke made the Prince of Hell look like a good guy. Although there was no mystery to the " bad guy," there is a fun surprise at the end. It explains a few plot points.

I don't think I've met an Entangled book I haven't liked. And I'm going to check out CookeS other books.

Cute and Sweet! I love the transformation that Derek went through. And I loved the way Cooke handled the whole "Prince of Hell" thing while still making him incredibly likeable. I liked Jax also...she gave as good as she got. This was a fun one-sitting read.

When a prince of hell needs a hook up where else would he go but to an online dating site? That's exactly where his minions head when they decide Derek Wescott needs a woman ... then they make him a bet he can't get her into his bed. The Prince assumes it's a sure thing until he meets Jaclyn Reynolds, the head of a charitable foundation that works with homeless children. That meeting leads to a relationship that is HOT and and sweet and ultimately life-changing for both of them.

'All Bets Are On' by Cynthia Cooke is the story of Derek Wescott and Jaclyn Reynolds.
Jaclyn best friend Trish has been hounding her to start dating again and break her 'dry spell'. So Trish talks her into an online site for dating where they see Derek's profile. They set up a coffee date the next morning. Jaclyn has some abandonment issue after her parents left and she does care for handsome movie start type looks...which Derek seems to have.

Well-meaning friends enroll Derek and Jacelyn into a computer dating company and they are matched. Jacelyn, at least, has the advantage of being human, but Derek is really a Prince of Hell and it's pretty funny to think of minion demons doing this.

Jacelyn has some serious preconceptions about wealthy men but, of course, Derek refuses to fit them. Her charity is in deep deep deep trouble and she is betrayed by a friend.

Well written, intriguing. Enjoyed it.

(view spoiler) Didn't feel the love between the couple at all.

A fun story. Stuff were resolved a bit too quickly/easily though, IMHO, and given that Derek was a prince of hell, I was hoping for a bit more of a dark side with him.
