Moving across the country isn’t Hunter’s ideal start to her Junior year of high school. She has no friends to hang out with, no beaches to lounge on, and she’s living just a few miles from the secluded hiking trail where her father died when she was a baby.

Living in Wyoming isn’t all bad, though, thanks to Logan, the handsome veterinary assistant at the animal clinic where

Poor Hunter is being dragged off to Wyoming to live after her mother loses her job and, before they even get there, odd things happen including a woman dashing across the road in front of them. This is a prelude to other strange events but Hunter at least soon finds that living in the middle of nowhere might not be so bad, especially after she meets a hottie named Logan and lands a job with the local veterinarian. A chance encounter with a Native American named Gus intrigues her while also creep ...more

Hunter, this girl had a lot going on, I enjoyed going through the love scenes, I enjoyed all the twists and turns, I liked how the end came together to the beginning, a mystery was solved, and friends were reunited. Hunter had to endure a couple of accidents and a kidnapping to uncover the truth about her father, and Monica finally got up the nerve to tell the truth about the past. This book was a nice read.

Hunter and her mother move to Wyoming to her Grandfather's ranch after her mother loses her job. Hunter is not excited about the change but has no choice really. When she sees a help wanted sign in the window of the Veterinarian office, she is excited at the chance to work with animals. There is also the attractive boy Logan that she keeps running into as well as a few new friends from school that help make the transition easier for Hunter. Unfortunately, it seems like Hunter is having her fair ...more

*I received a copy of this book from YA Bound Book Tours in exchange for a fair and honest review.*
This book was quite a surprise. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be something I enjoyed, liked, or loathed when I read the blurb. It was one of those books that was on the line. I am SO glad that I read it and I had absolutely no problem getting sucked in right away. I read it between a few sittings, when my kids would cooperate with me as

This was a nice read. There is a great sweet camaraderie between Hunter and Logan that is built through time and friendship. There are some wonderful twists and turns and the storyline sucks you in. Their adventures together make you laugh and smile as you really get to know their personalities through their actions and reactions to each other and what is going on around them.

The romance that occurs between Logan and Hunter is sweet and slow building. These two begin as friends and sort of partn

Em and Rosi (Bibliobibuli YA)
Hunter introduces us to Hunter, a girl who tragically lost her father under what become increasingly suspicious circumstances, and her new life in small town Wyoming. The plot was fun with mystery and a little romance thrown in to keep the plot going. However, I felt that the plot was predictable. Once some characters were introduced, I knew their purpose in the plot. Creepy characters remained creepy and mysterious ones offered convoluted but accurate advice.
