When billionaire developer Ariel catches her much-younger house cleaner sleeping in her bed, there's only one solution – make her stay.
Ariel
A boss falling for their employee is cliché, that’s why I’ve tried my hardest to stay away from my house cleaner Sadie. I fell in love with her the minute I saw her, but she’s too young for me, and I learned long ago to keep things easy and casual. Until I come home early from a business trip and find my golden-haired princess fast asleep in my bed.
Sadie
After a rough night in the shelter, I figure there’s no harm in taking a quick nap in my boss’s bed. The older, powerful woman is totally intimidating, but she’ll never know I was here… but when I wake up to find her staring at me, I figure I’m in big trouble. Turns out it’s the best kind of trouble, because when Ariel demands that I stay with her for a while, things quickly turn hot. Suddenly, I’m living out my fantasies. There’s only one Ariel has a hero complex and I promised myself I'd never be dependent on another person again.
She's a billionaire who wants to save everyone, in love with a woman who refuses to be saved. When control meets independence, sparks fly, but will they burn everything down?
Carnal Desire is a standalone romance in the Sapphic Billionaires Club series. About the Best friends. Neighbors. Business partners. Bad influences. Welcome to the Sapphic Billionaires Club. When these women fall in love, they fall hard. And forever. Each book in this WLW series is a fun and steamy instalove romantic comedy with nosy matchmaking friends, loving lesbian relationships, and a sweet happily ever after.
Reba Bale loves writing naughty stories where the characters are able to tap into their inner fantasies and experience spanking, bondage, humiliation, or other activities on the non-vanilla side of life.
When Reba is not writing she's reading the same naughty stories she likes to write.

I struggle when characters fall in love without exchanging a word. Yet I can’t even complain really because the prologue told me exactly this and I chose to ignore it. 🥰
Not recommended if you have a low cringe tolerance like myself. Had cute elements, this one just wasn’t for me. Lacked believability.
Instalove. Rich x Poor. Love at First Sight. 3rd Act Breakup.
4 stars. The third act breakup was annoying as hell but other than that this was fun. It’s insta-love but I liked Ariel and Sadie so much that I didn’t care. Ariel is a billionaire and is Sadie’s boss. Sadie is poor and living in a homeless shelter and works as Ariel’s housekeeper. I liked the dynamics between them and they had great chemistry. The grand gesture and the ending were cute. I’m excited about this new series from Bale and am looking forward to book two.
If you know what to expect, then it's a 10/10, and I feel like you do know what to expect just by looking at the cover.
It screams Wattpad, from the writing to the storyline. It is pretty basic and easy. Characters are good, and the chemistry is there. So if you are a fan of insta stories, go for it; I don't think you will regret it.
And if you want meaningful, then do pass. If you look from afar at them, it's great... but Ariel has 0 self-awareness and ignores everything Sadie said... being the billionaire she is, I guess? Sadie was reasonable, telling her boss that everything was over the top, but when you read half of it, you see that... her boundaries disappeared somewhere? Also, she does feel like another person from the middle of it, but for a story like that, I let it pass. The third-act breakup felt like Sadie forgot why she left in the first place and was like, "Yeah, now these same things feel different."
at least it acknowledges the income inequality issue
The major problem with romances from people of different socioeconomic classes is the entire income inequality issue, which is a very real problem these days. I suspect that's why billionaires have replaced princesses (or princes) as the romantic partners of choice.... despite the fact that every billionaire you ever hear about seems to be some form of sociopath!
Unlike other romances I have read where one person is a billionaire and the other person is living under reduced circumstances, at least this book acknowledges that is going to be a problem. It's not just the money, it's the fact that when you have that kind of money you live in a completely different universe from pretty much anybody else—and what seems insignificant to you is VERY significant to your less financially fortunate partner. There's also the issue that usually the the couple meets when one is employed by the other, which puts a really unfortunate power dynamic in play.
This book does a good job of drawing that stratification out, and the combination of fear and resentment that the less fortunate partner would probably have. I just wish I liked the story, and the characters, a bit more than I do.....
NO slow burn here. Sometimes I like those mysteries involving a solid slow-burn romance and less descriptive "heating up" scenes between characters, but in this case, I think it works for pairing and for the pacing. The pace was, at times, a bit rushed. Especially at the last few chapters. However, overall, I thought it was pretty comedic at times and we do get to see a few glimpses into the life of a COO billionaire and her, eventual, girlfriend who is just a house cleaner.
Ok, so billionaires have hearts, at least in Reba ‘s world!
A second sweet, well written love story with enough heat to get your heart pumping and generating a bit of personal heat as well. I love these women and wish I could meet some like them! Good characters with depth, written with compassion for fellow humans is a nice change of pace. Enjoy!
Loved this quick, billionaire & cleaning lady romance.....I'm always willing to suspend everyday "reality" for the sake of pleasant escapism in my love stories. This one is well written and has some insights and some pleasure. Everyone loves a happy ending!
I really liked the story, it was very cute and an easy read. I laughed at times, I was sad at times, but most importantly, I felt emotions really well while reading and that’s the only reason I ever keep reading.
Good book. A few typos, missed words or poor sentence structure but nothing you can’t get past. Sweet story line. A nice easy read with a feel good message. Worth the read if you’re looking for a light read.
Slightly underwhelming because there isn’t a lot happening but it’s a good quick book and they are adorable. There’s some cringy parts and it’s kinda giving wattpad tho. I still liked it 😭
