Book one ended on a cliff hanger - the cliff hanger turned out to be stupid. DNF’d at 17%

I wish this book had more substance to it other than FMC does something and the guys have to have her. Then she does something else then the guys have to have her. Then she does another thing then the guys just have to have her. It felt like such a process in this book that I just wanted it to be over. Guys are overly possessive to the point it makes no sense and is just ridiculous, things felt repetitive and annoying, rushed and slow. I really hated the sex would just come out of nowhere, just in the middle of a conversation, sometimes within the same paragraph and would end much the same. They go at it and then it ends abruptly and then they are discussing what to do all within the same breath. None of them felt like they had any real connection. Cassiel was blatantly on the outside to me. He was just a character that did not have much to him.
And if I read the word primal one more time I’m going to gouge my own eyes out.

OBSESSED!!! This book had me hook, line and sinker from page one. The way Eve describes this world and the characters blows my mind. Can we talk about how perfect CK is?? Ughhhh that man can be over the top possessive with me any day of the week!!
Isolde- she is definitely growing into her own. Some parts I wanted to scream and shake her but I had to slow down and realize that she is growing and is still a bit naive.
Cassiel- this man is hilarious and so smart. I wish I could rub his wings. Just yummy!!
William- I am so intrigued with this man. I hope to see more of the butcher (you have to read it to understand my need). I still feel like we don't know everything about him yet.
CK- oh this toxic man is just like his daddy and just as delicious. His toxicity is pure perfection and you can't change my mind. I'm obsessed with him. We get to see his other half and hot dog, hot diggity dog!! I want more.
Blackridge- *screams internally* I want to hate him but I can't. I see his point and just can't fully hate him. BUT if he hurts one little hair on CKs head...he's done!!
Issac- need his story please!?

I was so engrossed that I forgot to make an important phone call
Yeah real life disappears when you're at SilverGate.
You know you're engrossed when the cat touches your foot and you jump out of your skin because you forget where you were.
This is truly a book that will capture you're imagination and attention.
I didn't put it down and I don't want to be anywhere but SilverGate. I need to know what happens next with Issy and her guys. I mean c'mon you have a fallen angel Cassiel who is beyond happy to be fallen and gets to do anything he wants to do. William is fire and fury and his dancing with danger is delicious. And then we have CJ, oh my - hes hotter than his dragons breath and his possessiveness is only rivaled by one other book character I've ever read, and that was his father, add in his mother's influence and sass and we have the best ever character - bar none! And Isolde is the luckiest lady ever!
Grab the book. I devoured it on KU and will be buying the paperback come payday

Holly Hells Bells, at this point we should all be prepared with the knowledge that we never really know what to expect from Eve’s wonderful mind.
There is action flying off the pages, and don’t even get me started on those men !! They really loving those “touch her and x” moments! I loved watching as Issy grew a little more this round. She is learning how to handle her growing powers among the looming threat of the Collectors! I still think there are some serious payback moments coming from Issy and all of her men. They will get retaliation for all that has been done. They just have to… right!!! What’s a good book without a cliff hanger after those last few chapters!!!
Seriously this series is going to live rent free in my head until the very end!!!

This is just another phenomenal read. I am a huge fan of the author yes but with good reason. The worldbuilding is on point, the story isn't just steamy but a true good story and I love a complicated plot and oh! This has it all. Isolde is something infuriating but that just adds to her appeal as character. I love the guys in this story too! I mean who wouldn't want a man like Cassiel right? Funny, smart and those wings? Delish! William? Well I need more of him! Lastly CK and he's toxic but can that be in a good way? Nope but I want more! Love the setting of the story and can't wait for more.

The second I opened the book, I couldn't put it down. Isolde is stepping into her power and the emotional weight of that journey. I wanted to shake her at times, then hug her the next second. She’s growing, and you feel every moment of that struggle.
And her men… OH. MY. GOD.
Cassiel with his biting humor and fallen angel smirk — lethal and loyal.
William is straight-up chaos wrapped in intensity, and I am obsessed with that.
But CJ? He is pure delicious possessiveness. He’s the fire and fury of this story, and the way he protects Issy? Unhinged perfection.
The plot is nonstop danger, secrets, and steamy tension. Every time you think you’re getting answers, the story flips, and you’re left clutching the book like it’s a lifeline. Blackridge? I don’t trust him for a second, but I need to know more. I’m moving to Book 3 stat, I need to know what happens next immediately.

Wow! I wish I had the words to truly express how much I loved this book. It grabs you from the start and doesn't let go. Issy and her men are surrounded by unknowns, making for a thrilling (filled with anxiety (me!)) ride filled with intense "mess with her and d!e" vibes from Cassiel, CJ, and William, who only get more protective as the story builds. As the Collectors draw near, you'll be glued to the pages, you feel Issy's struggle with her growing powers and the looming threats. Download it now – you need to read this!

My word was this a blinder of a read! I still feel that when I'm reading any book in this series that I'm 2 steps behind everyone else trying to keep up but loving every minute doing it. I was definitely on the back foot throughout this book with all of the cracking plot twists and turns in it. With so many folks out for their own agendas Isolde, CJ, Cassiel and William are stuck in the middle of it all. Phew did they all bring on the hotness with all of that going on around them. Oh and that cliff-hanger ending was naughty. I'm loving this series so much.

Bloody hell! Quite literally! Just when you think you might have an idea of what will happen, something happens to knock that idea out of the park, leaving you with no clue and a need to keep reading. The last few chapters are so action filled it feels almost jarring to finish, but what is a trilogy without a cliffhanger or two?
Blackridge needs to pay. Somehow. Really don’t like him! But all stories need a good villain.

I can’t say how much I’m loving those series. But wow it’s really a lot. Soon as I started reading I was sucked right back into Silvergate academy. Loved being back with Isolde and Cassiel, William and CJ. Tons of action and oh some steamy scenes. Another winning storyline that is such a page turner. I’m slightly obsessed with this series. So need the next book. Overall I absolutely loved this book. Highly recommend reading over and over.

mixed feelings
I preferred the first book. This book has too many slow spots, goals that are almost achieved, but suddenly a few steps further away, and ultimately meaningless confrontations with the headmaster.
I’m still invested in the characters and the plot but having read similar series by this author, I’m less excited about the next book and more impatient for things to move forward.

I liked the first book this one not ad much hoping the final book makes up for it
I'm probably alone in this opinion, but really did not like how MC kept buckling to Blackridge, and maybe book 3 will explain more. Once she had been violated by him once with the runes you'd think she'd be smarter, but nope. And I NEVER thought I'd say this, but there was too much sex and not enough plot information IMO.

OMG! This book has it all action, hot scenes, a great plot with a twist and all kinds of hot men! I couldn't put it down. If you're looking for a book that draws you in to the very last paragraph then this is the book for you. Eve is an amazing author. Her characters feel so real. I want a fallen angel of my own!

Oh my lanta! Isolde and CJ are fire! I freaking love the dynamics with her and all her guys the flow is amazing, Eve is knocking it out of the park this is in my top 3 all time favorites for her writing CJ is one of my top 3 men shes written he is really starting to shine and I can not wait to see the rest of their journey!

Wow!! This book picks up right where book 1 ended. Issy makes some headway with eho she is, buts she's struggling with her new powers. Eve has the ability to pull you in and not let you go!! The dynamic between Issy, CJ, Cassiel and William is intense, toxic, and absolutely yummy. That cliffy made me want to tear my hair out. You can't go wrong with this series!!

Dare I say
Dare I say this might have too much spice? This book could have been about 100 pages shorter if we got to the point but at the same time, I cant really be mad that they're bonding lol. This was a good sequel! The mystery continues but yeah, it does get a bit repetitive and I found myself saying get on with it already.

Issy and her men.... I absolutely love her men. There is such a great mix of personalities with them. Their story is engrossing with the thrills and steam. There was so much happening and I was here for every second of it.

Dark Fate picks up where Dark Soul ended without missing a thing. Full of action, secrets, and even more questions. Isolde is coming into her power. Cassiel, William, and CJ are even more protective of her and will do anything to keep her safe. I highly recommend giving this series a read.

Isolde, Willian, Cassiel, and CJ omg are you all driving me crazy. Blackridge is driving me mad because I can’t quite figure out what he is but I feel like I know what he is. This story is developing amazingly and I can’t wait to dive into the next book.
