This book gets five stars for containing this line alone: "Getting A’s in school is useless if you don’t get a profitable skill." I couldn't agree more. This is exactly the kind of thing people need to know before spending tens of thousands of dollars on a degree that makes them no more marketable than anyone armed with little more than willingness and a high school equivalency.

I really enjoyed this book, maybe I am a bit biased, but it was great. It makes me want to be the person the book tries to instill. I appreciate it more because I know the author and know that he is not perfect, but it is great to know and see him working on these things while trying to better those around him. I want Tara Dactyl to have the best life she can and make all of the best decisions and this book will help her be a good person.

The price is right for he states that this particular volume is free so anybody paying for it paid too much! I started reading this book waiting at the car shop (car inspection) so it was a useful way to past the time. I think it's a great little volume to have on hand electronically in whatever waiting area you happen to be stuck in as it will put things in perspective and provide some ...more

Why did I come across this book so late in life? The lessons in this book transcend time and space.

And now I want to know what happened to the Bug in the Room with Andrew Taylor...

Gattaca is in my top 5 favorite movies. It's an intellectual film that forces you to think and reconsider your opinions.

But sometimes I don't want to watch Gattaca. Sometimes I want to watch Independence Day. Or Jurassic Park. Or, GI Joe 2: Retaliation. There, I said it. I loved GI Joe 2. Sometimes you just want to sit back, turn on the TV, and watch explosions for 2 hours. And that's okay. Other
