As hot as ever and seriously imaginative. SE Gilchrist has built a great series. I think "When Stars Collide" could happily be read alone, but I've read earlier books in the series and that added a depth to my understanding of the political situation, and an emotional connection to some of the walk-on characters.
A good read if you like your SF sexy :)
