I totally heart this author and it's because of books like this one that she will always remain on my auto buy list. The read was super sexy and Nick is definitely by far the best book boyfriend ever! I wanted to strangle him, kiss him senseless, kill him and kill anyone that goes near him, yep I experienced all those crazy book emotions that let's those who do not read, think you are a complete maniac!

Pamela was such a stunningly written character that she totally blew me away, yes she's a bit of the normal lonely, sad, in desperate need of help but too hardworking and proud to ask for it kind of heroine but with a twist. The author let her still be all of the above but with such a strong inner light that you want to help her or you wish someone would help her but at the same time you don't want to because it would dim her light of confidence. It was truly remarkable to read about.

I am taking away a message of life does hurt, be it a former fling that only saw you as a dollar sign or be it a past that has resulted in you struggling to reach the top again, no matter there is always hurt. But when the chance to heal comes along it is of the most utter importance to grab hold of it and not let the past hold you back, because once walks out the door it ain't never coming back.

I highly recommend this read for all fans of romance, it's sweet, hot, spicy, super sexy and will leave such an impression on you that you will not be able to wait to step back into the brilliant world this author creates , time and time again!

There is a reason Nicole Flockton is on my favorite author list. That reason is books like Bound By Her Ring and Bound By His Desire. We already know I loved Bound By Her Ring. It was a little different in it’s plot and I adored it. I didn’t know what to expect from Bound By His Desire because Luciano from Bound By Her Ring was not your typical hero, though he was an excellent hero. He was just a different kind of man.

Now we move on to Nick’s story in Bound By His Desire. Nick has a past that ha There is a reason Nicole Flockton is on my favorite author list. That reason is books like Bound By Her Ring and Bound By His Desire. We already know I loved Bound By Her Ring. It was a little different in it’s plot and I adored it. I didn’t know what to expect from Bound By His Desire because Luciano from Bound By Her Ring was not your typical hero, though he was an excellent hero. He was just a different kind of man.

Now we move on to Nick’s story in Bound By His Desire. Nick has a past that has him saying no relationships, no love, no attachments for his future. He wants an assistant that isn’t in it to try to woo him into marriage. His last assistant left a bit to be desired.

Enter Pamela. He met her at Luciano and Jasmine’s wedding (where we enter the book at). He has been friends with Luciano for a while and Pamela was Jasmine’s assistant. Even at that early stage there was chemistry between these two and I don’t know how Nick thought he was going to resist Pamela even when she wasn’t trying to become his better half.

Pamela has to decide whether to take Nick’s job offer which he put on the table along with his no relationships rule. No trying to tie him down. No trying to get him to fall for her, etc.

And so the story goes.

I loved Bound By His Desire as much as I loved Bound By Her Ring. Pamela is a such a wonderful character! She is hard working (absolutely perfect for the position of Nick’s assistant), caring, loyal, and she has enough on her plate to deal with right now without Nick playing any head games with her.

I say head games because that is what it would seem like as a woman in this situation, not as a reader who knows a bit of his background. If you understand where he has come from, you understand why he holds himself back from committing to a relationship. When we get to what really happened verses what he thought happened, my heart hurt for all the people involved. (That’s as close to a spoiler as I will get.)

This is just another amazing book in the Bound By series. A great woman, a man who has the potential to be a great man in a relationship, and pasts that they both have to work through whether mentally or physically. Plus we got to see characters that we fell in love with before. Let's also not look past the cover. I love the covers to this series!

I cannot wait until Jeffrey’s story! We got to meet him in this book and see how the friendship between these three men work, especially between Nick and Jeffrey.

Some authors have an exceptional way with words and then there are others that car able to make their words sing – Nicole Flockton falls into the latter category.
This book is beautifully crafted and crammed full of exquisite details and perfectly honed characters, she has this nailed!
Bound by his desire is Nick’s story, and it had all the hallmarks of being an entertaining ride.
Nick lives by his own rules, determined by events that have shaped him into the man he is today.

Bound by his desire is Nick’s story, and it had all the hallmarks of being an entertaining ride.
Nick lives by his own rules, determined by events that have shaped him into the man he is today.
He has no desire to enter into any form of relationship and has little regard for the notion of ever falling in love.
Shame he has that attitude because he is the kind of man that attracts attention, he is the whole package and that package is a very appealing proposal.
But burnt fingers mean that he is on a quest to find a new assistant, one that finally gets with the program and accepts that he has no intention of ever being anything other than their employer.
Laying all his cards on the table, he offers the role to Pamela, Jasmine’s assistant and to be honest Pamela has enough on her plate, falling for Nick is not even on her radar.
Pamela and Nick are both great characters, they have great inner strength and fortitude, both have history that refuses to just lie down and go away but they have the wherewithal to work through it.
Professionally Pamela is the girl for Nick she has his requirements banged to rights; she is empathetic and caring, efficient and dedicated and absolutely guaranteed not to fall for him.
This couple have a connection that they would be foolish to ignore but time and tide waits for no man, can they see past their pasts and find a future. Can Nick see that losing Pamela will be the biggest mistake of his life?
But we all know that we don’t always get what we want, but whose desires are going get the upper hand? Who will crack first and will walking away be an option?
I loved Nick, he thought more about this rules than he should have and when push comes to shove, he learnt that we are not all the same and tarring every woman with the same brush could mean that he lead a very lonely life and god forbid that would be a waste to womankind, because this man is delicious!!!
Pamela was a joy, full of everything you would expect with a contagious confidence that gave her a determination that was only to be commended.
But when you heart lays it on the line, you have to stop and listen at some point and Nicole Flockton pitched this character... inch perfect – I adored her!!

Nicole is at it again. This time, Nick is our main hottie. Lets see...who doesn't love a rich, hot, bad boy? There is one small problem. The book just seems too short. I am always left wanting more. More Nick. More Pam. More of her putting him in his place. And more of them wanting more of each other. More, more, more! I mean, seriously, I want MORE!

Second in trilogy. I usually don't like boss/assistant romances, because their is a power imbalance. But Pamela gives as good as she gets, so it seems more of an even footing.

Pamela and Nick (Rhodes! LOL!) both have their reasons for not wanting to get into a romance with each other (least of all, the fact that they work together). But their chemistry will not be denied, and she might be the very person he needs to help heal past wounds.

What a great read! A wonderful, quickly paced novel by Nicole Flockton, and I have to say I was not disappointed. This novel picks up with Nick's story. Where we meet up with him and Pamela and their real life issues that again, many readers may be able to associate with. I like that each novel is a different perspective with different characters, and a different story line. There wasn't a dull moment in this novel, and I have to say this was a fun read.

Where we meet up with him and Pamela and their real life issues that again, many readers may be able to associate with. Nick Rhodes knows what he wants. And what he doesn't want is a relationship with his personal assistant. After the first two tried throwing themselves at him all he wants is an honest, working woman that will do her job, and leave at the end of the day. When he hires Pamela Bishop he isn't prepared for the lights of New York City to lure him under her spell, and make her want him more than anything else in this world. He tries his best; he really does. Ignoring her, pushing her away, the whole nine yards. The last thing he wants is to show any sort of affection towards her, or anything like that. After all, the one rule he has is to have no emotional attachment. And that doesn't bode well for him.

Pamela Bishop has several things in her life that she wants. Her main concern being the mass amounts of medical bills that her ailing mother has left her with. When the opportunity of a lifetime comes along she has to make the decision if it's something she can handle. Being an assistant to the great Nick Rhodes would really put a lot of her financial stress to the side, and would help her get ahead in life. When he tells her that there is to be no emotional attachment, she becomes confused. Why would someone like Nick Rhodes have to tell her that? She doesn't think she's anything special, or worth of someone like him. She happily accepts the job with the thought of his warning in the back of her mind.

The games that go between Pamela and Nick can be painful. The pasts of these two characters collide when things begin to click for the two of them. Nick was a wonderful character who knew what he wanted, and when he wanted it. Pamela was a well written heroine that came forward and really put on a wonderful show that showcased just how strong of a woman she is throughout this novel.

Another great novel in the Bound Series! I do love that each of these novels can be read as a standalone, and that there isn't a whole bunch of confusion between the characters of the three novels. Nicole Flockton really outdid herself with this novel. I liked this novel more so than Bound by Her Ring, and I think it's because of the whole forbidden love thing that is the main focus in this novel. A really great read with an outstanding author. Bound by Desire by Nicole Flockton is the second book of her Bound series, but rest assured this can certainly be read as a standalone aside from the first book. However, I do highly recommend reading Bound by Her Ring because it is a wonderful story.

There was no surprise here. Ms. Flockton delivered a story with lots of passion and sensuality that it was hard to stop reading. Therefore, I finished this in one sitting. However, I do highly recommend reading Bound by Her Ring because it is a wonderful story.

I really enjoyed spending time with them in New York and watch their romance blossom as the story unfolded. On top of that, the story flowed nicely with a good pace and there was good character development as well. On top of that, I was glad to see Luc and Jasmine from book one make appearances in this book.

Bound by His Desire was a good solid story although I did have a few minor issues with it. For example, I didn't care for Nick's hot and cold attitude towards Pam. His hot and cold demeanor continued for more than 70% of the book which I admit was a little frustrating. He also came off as an insensitive jerk at times too which made me want to slap him.

As for Pam, I liked her. Her circumstances were unfortunate and I was sympathetic towards her situation. She was loving and loyal and I admired that she was a fighter. She fought for Nick throughout the story even when Nick gave her no hope. However, that leads me to another thing. At the end, I wanted her to put up more of a fight with Nick when he apologized after he accused her of being a gold digger. Personally, I wanted her to make him grovel more...or fight back, but she caved in so easily that she came off almost as a door mat...or even desperate. I just wanted to see Nick really fight for her at the end and show her that he was truly worthy of her.

Despite these minor issues, I enjoyed Bound by His Desire and give this book a rating of 3.5 stars.

While both characters have baggage, the author doesn't let them get all angsty and aggravating. I will start by saying that, in my opinion, this book was better than the first. That's not to say that the first one wasn't good, because that's simply not the case at all (as you will see from my review), but for some reason, I found these characters more engaging.

Isn't the cover model sexy? He's not quite how I picture the hero, Nick, though. Nick seemed to me smoother, more polished with his wealth and sophistication.

The secretary and boss trope is a well-established favourite with romance readers and Nicole Flockton delivers it beautifully with an added dash of Cinderella.

The book is a traditional romance where love triumphs over everything, even past hurts and fears. The characters are fleshed out with real problems that interfere with being able to simply get together with each other. Pam and Nick have an explosive chemistry from the very beginning. That draws you like a moth to flame. Pam and Nick both have things that they keep hidden. In my opinion that makes stories even better. You always need that element of confict. This is a great read from start to finish!!
