"It was like being a member of the best gang in the world, being on the fringe of the Beatles. Apparently, you could do anything, go anywhere, and be anybody." - A Secret History, Alistair Taylor. This is an excellent book, illuminating, funny and clever. Must-read-must-have for all Beatles fans, and because of it's universal appeal, for the others as well.

Magazine articles, interviews, and clippings from the sign of the times. Still timely. I kept paging through this, reading back and forth. Scrapbook joy.
