BYPH left us on that cliffy and Bend the Pucking Rules picks up right where it left off. As Callan recovers in the hospital, Sebastian begins burrowing himself under Avery’s skin despite their previously volatile relationship. That’s not to say that Sebastian becomes a cinnamon roll – far from it. Yet while Sebastian thaws toward - and falls for - Avery, Aidric is decidedly more dickish. Jealous much?
Moreover, evidence piles up indicating that the personal responsible for the threats against the society is one of their own. No one can be trusted. Nothing is as it seems. And tensions rise throughout this installment as the Lords and their lady navigate secrets, lies, and ever-increasing danger.
Book two leaves us with more questions than answers as the body count climbs and the betrayal becomes more brazen. I’m looking forward to Aidric’s POV and hoping we get to see him grovel a bit.

Callan has just been in a horrific car accident, and after everything he and Avery went through to finally connect, he wakes up with zero memory of her! HE STILL BELIEVES HE HATES HERwhich absolutely shattered me. While he struggles with this, Avery finds herself choosing to stay in the hockey house, with threats from a stalker looming and leaving her terrifying messages. It's the safest place for her to be. Now, forced to stay close to Sebastian and Aidric for protection, that proximity causes a LOT of tension. AND THIS IS MARKETED as a Reverse Harem... so we know we are not going to get some love triangle drama... SO EXPECT THE TENSION TO EVOLVE INTO MORE... (This book focuses on the journey Avery takes with Sebastian)

Avery continues to be the chaotic, stupid badass I love. She’s feisty, mouthy, and refuses to let anyone control her... even when it puts her in reckless situations. She breaks into places she shouldn't be and snoops on things she shouldn't. She also continues to poke and provoke Aidric every chance she gets... AND I JUST LOVE HER PUSHING HIS BUTTONS.
The dynamic shift from Avery's outlook on the boys to this one was interesting. In the first book, she was fighting to avoid being part of their world. Now, she’s fighting when she’s excluded. She’s accepted that she’s in this life, she’s an accessory to the chaos, and she refuses to be left out. And when she is, her spitfire attitude comes out.
It broke me seeing her go through the setback with Callan while he dealt with his memory loss, staying in the background for him to recover at his own pace. She was there, quietly loving him, even when nobody else was in her corner. Her best friend pushed her away, and her family couldn't care about her... She is alone with noone except Sebastian.
And oh my god… Sebastian!
This man has officially taken over as my favourite of the boys. He’s level-headed and logical, but then also arrogant in the sexiest way, and wields his power like a king or right hand to the King. His obsession with Avery grows into something so much more than lust; it's this deep devotion to give her everything she needs. An obsession with having her as a possession.
It's also books like this that make me fall harder for Reverse Harem books because each boy gives her something the other can't. Callan is the boy she loved first. He is her emotional anchor and her sweetheart. Sebastian is her protector and the one who pushes her through fear into strength. And Aidric... I am dying to see what he’ll bring to the table.

If my little lamb wants to run into fire, you best believe her wolf is going to be at her back, hunting her the entire time.I am still absolutely feral over this series. Rachel Leigh has me in a chokehold, and this sequel just cemented my obsession. It picks up with emotional intensity right where Break Your Pucking Heart left off, and holy hell… I was on edge the entire time.

Avery and her diabolical men are back. We pick up right where we left off in book one with that crazy cliffhanger of Callan in his car accident. My poor Shayla struggles this whole book to find his way back to who he was.
On the other hand Sebastian and Avery become closer as we try to solve what at this point is a damn murder mystery that may go deeper than anyone thinks.
I love how each book follows the perspective of a different lord, while still focusing on how Avery takes in all these new developments. The twist and turns are at an all time high as we end on yet ANOTHER cliffhanger. like girl I have more questions than answers solved. One thing I’m happy about is that it’s clear that Avery may have a big role in this, but it’s not aware to anyone yet. I just have a feeling that shit is about to get CRAZY. I have three guesses of who it is and I’m hoping one of them is right🤞🏾

Book 1 left my heart in shambles, and I wasn’t sure how I was supposed to recover — but somehow Rachel Leigh made it hurt so good in book 2.
This one is even darker, steamier, and more unhinged in the best way. The tension? 🔥 The boys? Ruined me. The vibe? Delicious chaos.

Book 2 picks up right where the first book left off. I couldn't get enough of this book. Avery and her guys were something else! I was falling out of hate with Sebastian all while his Little Lamb was starting to act out her feelings towards him.
This read was filled with mystery, twists and turns and spice. There's so much tension between everyone. The stakes are high and the secrets are still piling up. No one knows who's a friend or foe. Man, some pieces of the puzzle came to light and now there are even more hidden that need to be revealed.
Book one I loathed Seb. Now with the ending of this one, Aidric is on the top of my hate list. He shocked me with some of his comments about Avery. He best grovel if he wants to win her over!
Can't wait to see how RL concludes this series!!

I was able to snag the ARC for this one but didn’t realize it was not a standalone so I went back to read book 1 first and I was super happy to have this baby in hand and ready to go.

Book 2 picks up where book 1 leaves off, and we finally get to remove ourselves from the cliffhanger. Its not a reprieve though, cause its a sucker punch to the heart to go through it with Avery and Callan. The only thing that makes it easier is we get to see Avery's relationship with Sebastian grow through this book. Sebastian was a hard core bully of Avery in book 1, so this "softer" side of him we get to see in book 2, is exactly what my heart needed.
There absolutely is still "bully" elements to this book, as Aidric’s still giving Avery the mostly cold shoulder with small glimpses into his softer side, and giving her shit for being with his two best friends...We know he's just jelly and cant wait to be included 😂
The suspense is suspencing!!! There are twists and turns as to be expected as the Ice Lords try to find out who is hunting them. They are used to being at the top of the food chain and this new player is at least 2-3 steps ahead of them at all times! Avery is also spiraling, which moves things with Sebastian forward, but does not bode well for her mental health. Can I also just say that Brogan is giving frenamie vibes for some reason...and I dont think its just her want to protect Callan.
I enjoyed this book more than the first, simply because of the "lessening" of the bully element. I loved both books, and I missed Callan in this one but Sebastian is 🔥

Better book for me 😄
This book, for me, was better than the first 😄 it is milder in terms of the bullying/harsh treatment between the men and Avery which I found more palatable 🙈 the dark elements are absolutely still there in terms of the 💀, the stalker, and the blackmail - things certainly seem to be getting a lot worse for them on this second book 😣 poor Avery is spiralling with everything that’s being thrown at her, yet she consistently picks herself back up and gives her all in facing the next issue and handing their ‘hinds back to the guys when needed…especially Adiric 😡 there are some heart wrenching moments in this - particularly the aftermath of Callan’s and trying to piece their life back together, and her moms issues 😫 the biggest win for me in this book was seeing the character development in Sebastian and their revolving relationship, you see a side to him that truly cares - although he doesn’t give him his controlling side 😅 the back and forth between them is 🔥🔥 looking forward to seeing how the drama around the Lords and who is really out to get them is wrapped up especially with the red herrings being thrown around in this one 😳

This book, for me, was better than the first 😄 it is milder in terms of the bullying/harsh treatment between the men and Avery which I found more palatable 🙈 the dark elements are absolutely still there in terms of the 💀, the stalker, and the blackmail - things certainly seem to be getting a lot worse for them on this second book 😣 poor Avery is spiralling with everything that’s being thrown at her, yet she consistently picks herself back up and gives her all in facing the next issue and handing their ‘hinds back to the guys when needed…especially Adiric 😡 there are some heart wrenching moments in this - particularly the aftermath of Callan’s and trying to piece their life back together, and her moms issues 😫 the biggest win for me in this book was seeing the character development in Sebastian and their revolving relationship, you see a side to him that truly cares - although he doesn’t give him his controlling side 😅 the back and forth between them is 🔥🔥 looking forward to seeing how the drama around the Lords and who is really out to get them is wrapped up especially with the red herrings being thrown around in this one 😳

This book is the second installment in the Lords series and I strongly recommend reading that before diving into this book. It takes place immediately after the first which left us in a cliffhanger.
I’m officially in my bad boy era! I don’t know who I like more… Callan, Sebastian, or Aidric. Why choose one when you can have all three?!?
The stakes continue to rise as they learn someone knows about their secret society and is not only threatening them but is willing to kill to get what they want. I spent the whole book trying to figure out their stalker and I still have no idea 🤷🏻♀️.
I can’t wait to read book 3 and get all the answers. I’m also hoping with the final installment we’ll get more of a backstory on some of our characters. We got a glimpse into Sebastian’s childhood in the prologue but then it’s never touched on again. I’m also really excited to learn more about Aidric and his relationship with his father.

I wish I would have discovered Rachel’s books sooner but I am sooo glad that I found this series.
So we knew from the beginning that this was going to end up with more than one MMC love interest in a why choose situation. However we really only got Callen and Avery’s point of view. Well that changed with this book and we primarily got Avery and Sebastian’s POV. Which if it continues this way, book 3 will give us Aidric’s POV.
This book picks up immediately following the cliffhanger for book 1 that was admittedly pretty gut wrenching. But answers, without more questions, what’s that!? We did get some answers (but not as many as you want) but definitely are left with more questions. We ended on another cliffy that, while not devastating, it definitely was not what I saw coming AT ALL. While I have theories, I fully expect not a single one to correct at this point.
The spice also kicked it up a notch. I am loving both Callen and Sebastian as they do different things to help our girl. Avery also just gets stronger with each book and as the story goes on. I can’t wait to see where she goes from here!

Well this book took me out y'all. I can't stop thinking about it loooong after I have finished it. I felt like I was on an emotional roller-coaster even though I had no skin in this game. But that right there tells me that no matter what happens Rachel has a talent that I can't even begin to fathom.
My reading on my kindle has been paltry because I couldn't get into the book. This one though?? Not a CHANCE! I WAS IN IT TO WIN IT!
There have been many days that I cannot remember what time I ate breakfast 🍳, but this book 📚 right here wasn't anywhere close to that girl. I was able to explain in detail to my husband the whole book 📖. I need my emotional support water 🚰 bottle for the whole thing but who's counting that? If you are, then imma have to ask you to mind yo bidness.
Lemme just start the breakdown by saying this book 📖 is going to live rent free in my head until 📖 3️⃣ is on my kindle. This isn't up for debate. This is straight FACTS 💯. All 4 of our main characters have a CHOKEHOLD ☠️ on me. I am LIVING for each one of their stories!
Avery, our girl 💕 who is sooo strong. She doesn't even know how strong she is, until she does. She has been through so much, yet still stands on business on BOTH FEET planted firmly on the ground. She definitely had the crap stick end of things 😩 for a little bit in this one. Dealing with her mom's health issues along with her sperm donor. Yeah you read it right 😘. Sperm donor. He doesn't deserve the title dad, and probably never will 😁.
But that didn't stop our girl from fighting for what she wants, and continually fighting for her and hers. She went through the ringer in this book but not without an unfortunate reason. She was able to see where she stands with all 3 men 🖤. She was able to see her place amongst all the havoc being thrown her way.
Callan the first man to steal our girls heart has been THROUGH IT Y'ALL 😩. He was in the worst type of way through a good chunk of this book. But that didn't stop him from coming back with the fire in his eyes not just for Avery but for his brothers. He definitely had a hill to climb but he wasn't afraid to do it! He hit the hill with running force (okay not really running, bc he couldn't, but you get what I'm saying.) He made it well known that he wasn't going to sit back and watch it all happen without him.
Sebastian, my man Seb as I so lovingly call him 😍. He was the rockstar in this book! He took Avery under his wing when she needed it the most. Not the approach some would have taken but it worked. For both of them. He made sure that she wasn't left behind, without her they were all going to fall 😭. Right when he didn't think it could happen it did. In a BIG way! He saw Avery in a different light than the Little Devil she had shown them she could be if they messed with her. She because his Little Lamb 🐑. He folded her into his life and couldn't imagine it without her 🥰.
He definitely gave me all of the alpha male vibes I needed for this book! I couldn't have loved him more in this 😍. I am soo excited to see how their dynamic shifts in the next book!
Aidrick, my 🖤 dark horse 🐎 🖤. I love his nonchalance in this book about Avery. It gave him so much more depth throughout and especially towards the end. He is the leader of the Society ☠️, and he definitely refused to let anyone else get that spot. He wasn't going to let anyone continue to mess with what they had going. The epilogue SENT ME 😁.
I KNEW he was going to come around. He just had to see that there was room for everyone. Not just the few he approved of.
I absolutely CANNOT wait for the final book! We definitely had the chase in this one and I hope that we get somw more in the next one as well! I still have no clue who this is running around doing the ABSOLUTE MOST. But I am here for it. SAT and ready 😏.

Literally melting just thinking about it, it’s a super soaker if you know what I mean 😉

I ate this book up in one sitting practically! I have been anxiously waiting to continue after that wild cliffhanger in book one. This was so good!
The suspense, growing relationships, more secrets being revealed….I loved it all! It was so good getting to be inside Sebastian’s head in this book. I honestly love him so much & I think he’s definitely becoming my favorite . My heart did hurt for Callum because he forgot so much after the accident but I loved seeing him regain his memories. This ending had my jaw on the floor AGAIN. I can’t believe I have to wait until this winter for the final book! I am dying for it😭

The cliff hanger in book one had me shook and running to read book two IMMEDIATELY. The plot thickens in book two as we are brought along the chase for who is threatening and stalking the Ice Lords.
We get some group action (wink) and more mystery -I need the next book tomorrow please LOL. I enjoyed reading this book so much! Thank you to Valentine PR for the eARC.

Lord love a duck!!! I absolutely love Rachel’s writing!! She can pull you into a story within the first page and you’re hooked!! I mean you will not want to move until you have devoured every single word of that book. And thank goodness this one picks up right where book 1 left us hanging!! We also get to know Sebastion a lot better. And I fell so hard for him!! And then what Callam had to deal with!! And Avery has all the love triangle issues going on with Callam and Sebastion. And the mystery is still happening. Notes showing up, pictures getting sent by text, videos playing in front of people and bodies going missing and showing up dead!! And just when they think they have it figured out bammmm!!! Another shock blows up in their face!!! So we are left with the mystery still open. Who is doing this to the Ice Lords? We have to wait to book 3 to find out!! And I can’t wait!!! I can’t recommend this book enough and yes you need to read book 1!!! 5 stars isn’t enough for this series and I haven’t read the last book yet!!

I am still absolutely feral over this series. Rachel Leigh has me in a chokehold, and this sequel my new obsession. It picks up with emotional intensity right where Break Your Pucking Heart left off, and holy hell... I was on edge of my seat!
Avery is unpredictable, she is feisty, mouthy, a badass FMC, and reckless I absolutely loved her chaotic energy!
It was heart breaking to see Callan lose his memories and to think he still hates Avery after all they’ve been through together.
And Sebastian! I freakin love him! This man has officially taken over as one of my favourites of the boys. He's level-headed and logical, but then also arrogant. He’s sexy as heck and wields his power with control, like a ma in power!
His obsession with Avery grows its deep devotion to give her everything she needs. Wanting her as his to own. Their tension and chemistry and the lust was palpable!
Sebastian is her protector and the one who pushes her through fear into strength. And Aidric... I am dying to see what he'll bring to the table! I can’t wait for the next book!!

I am still absolutely feral over this series. Rachel Leigh has me in a chokehold, and this sequel my new obsession. It picks up with emotional intensity right where Break Your Pucking Heart left off, and holy hell... I was on edge of my seat!
Avery is unpredictable, she is feisty, mouthy, a badass FMC, and reckless I absolutely loved her chaotic energy!
It was heart breaking to see Callan lose his memories and to think he still hates Avery after all they’ve been through together.
And Sebastian! I freakin love him! This man has officially taken over as one of my favourites of the boys. He's level-headed and logical, but then also arrogant. He’s sexy as heck and wields his power with control, like a ma in power!
His obsession with Avery grows its deep devotion to give her everything she needs. Wanting her as his to own. Their tension and chemistry and the lust was palpable!
Sebastian is her protector and the one who pushes her through fear into strength. And Aidric... I am dying to see what he'll bring to the table! I can’t wait for the next book!!

Omg yassss !!! This book picked right up where the 1st left off and the intense craziness was brought to an even bigger level !!
Callan & Sebastian are soo freakin hot in this book !!! Lord Jesus these Ice Lords bring the suspense the crazy the drama and the epicness !
I am dying for Aidric’s voice now… because he’s the most unhinged of them yet - with his own demons to boot..
Avery is the queen of Unhinged , and uncontrolled, but god does she love the crap out of her boys- with her whole heart…
I cnt wait to see if she’ll invite aidric to the fold .

Bend the Pucking Rules picks up right where Break Your Pucking Heart left off and man, Rachel did not come to play with this one! I was pulled in from the start and needed answers. I love the mystery and suspense that is really packed into this book. Honestly, I was a little scared myself at parts just feeling like someone was watching them and going to pop out at any moment, I loved it.
While I do love Callan (because like how can you not), this book really was Sebastian's time to shine, and boy did he. I was living for every moment he had with Avery. So much tension, banter, the hate sex/lust was off the mf charts. I devoured it and was sitting there giggling or drooling (or both) because it was so delicious. There was the perfect balance of plot, spice and just overall intimate/sweet moments between these characters. I love how cutthroat the men are and so dang possessive of what is theirs *cough Avery cough*.
I absolutely love Avery and how strong, defiant and determined she is. This girl really takes no shit and isn't afraid of anyone. I love that she goes for what she wants and isn't going to let anyone scare her.
The why choose aspect of this series has been fleshed out so nicely and just feels right. I love how much time Rachel has taken to develop each relationship. I am so excited to see how Aidric is going to fit into the mix.
I don't want to say too much and spoil the story because you really just need to read it but if you love thriller, suspense, murder mystery, steamy hate sex and a badass FMC, you need to check out this series.
I cannot wait to get Aidric's POV next book. The breadcrumbs he was giving in this one had me shook in the best way. I think this might be my favorite series by Rachel so far and I have read several of her series.
Expect to be on the edge of your seat the entire book and questioning absolutely everything and everyone. No one and nothing are safe here. I am beyond pleased with how this book played out and can't wait to read the next and final installment in this series. I need answers!

I waited anxiously for this book, and it did not disappoint, in fact, it exceeded my expectations. 😍
It has everything I love in a dark romance: broken, twisted characters who love intensely, I’d even say obsessively, who need each other like we need oxygen to breathe.
They break each other only to rebuild themselves all over again. ❤️🩹
Adding to this dark and twisted mix, we have a secret society, macabre secrets, a thirst for power and control, and a killer on the loose that adds a dangerous tension to the story, keeping us on the edge and holding our breath. 🫠
I’m a fan of the “why-choose” trope and love that Rachel is slowly unfolding it for us. 🖤
We got to know Callan and his relationship with Avery better in the first book, and now it’s Sebastian’s turn to show us what’s hiding behind his relentless Ice Lord mask. He’s struggling with feelings he never knew he could have for someone he’s supposed to hate.
Just like Avery hates him. She finds herself in an emotional conflict, Callan’s absence, Sebastian’s approach, the killer, her mother... Everything is happening at once, throwing her into a panic spiral, and it’s the Ice Lords who will be there to catch her.
Rachel loves to leave us in agony, and we’ll have to wait for the third Lord, Aidric. 🫠
I confess he’s my favorite, so reserved and harboring so much hatred towards people, especially Avery, who came to shatter the peace between the three men and put their friendship at risk.
Just one sentence he said in this book to completely won me over. My heart tells me he’ll be the most sensitive and vulnerable of the them.
I get emotional just thinking about it.
I loved the book, and once again, Rachel’s writing was perfect. 😍
You just can’t stop reading, and if you do, you can’t think about anything else until you pick the book up again.

This story is just getting deeper and deeper into the plot. So many twists and turns to make your head spin. This one is mostly told through Avery and Sebastian’s POVs with a couple from Callan and Aidric. In book one we focused mostly on Avery and Callan repairing what they broke in HS, and her meeting Seb and Aidric. After the event at the end of book 1 Callan spends most of the book in the hospital healing and rehab center. So we get so much more Sebastian and his and Avery’s relationship. From hating each other to attraction to something more growing. All of this in the midst of someone being after them. Secrets they thought were covered become public, their suspicions of who could be doing it are dashed. And we get one hell of a spicy sharing scene! I can’t wait to find out who is behind everything, though I have a couple of guesses. I also can’t wait to see how Aidric makes good on his promise. Exciting and seriously fun series so far!

Bend The Pucking Rules picked right back up where Book 1 left off. We got a temporary reprieve from that cliffhanger, but it didn’t last long. When Callan and Avery thought they were in a good place, but an accident causes a divide. Avery is alone trying to figure out the pieces but ends up having her enemy Sebastian there to lean on. He turns into a support system, which brought them closer. I loved this side of Sebastian. As much as I love Callan I think Sebastian is going to be my favorite. Avery is spiraling mentally. Sebastian is holding her together in more ways than one.
The twist and turns this story has taken is driving me crazy. Every time you think you have the stalker figured out, it just leads to another dead end. The suspense is top tier. The Ice Lords are always in control and right now they have no clue what or who is coming at them. This person is a few steps ahead. Every. Single. Time. And of course Rachel couldn’t leave us with answers or a reprieve. That cliffhanger left my jaw dropped. I’m begging Rachel to hurry with the next book.

This book focuses more on Avery and Sebastian as she leans on him more while Callan is healing. We see a different side to Sebastian but he's still who he is at his core and that's what makes him even more intriguing as the story moves along.
Rachel does a phenomenal job with the twists and turns and keep readers on their toes the entire time. Just when you think you know something, she proves us wrong and throws another puzzle piece into the air. And I love how the romance plays right into the suspense of everything, just giving the book a whole new level of intrigue.
A fantastic book two and after that epilogue - I am dying for book three!

Bend the Pucking Rules is the second installment of the Ice Lord series. And let me tell you it will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very end.
Avery is still the strong girl everyone knows. She won’t let anyone push her around. Now she has to pick up the pieces after Callan’s accident. He doesn’t remember what they were becoming only just the hate. And she will try everything for him to get his memory back.
Callan and Avery connections runs deeps. When she kisses him he start to slowly getting some of his memory back.
We learn more about a little more background of Sebastian and what he went through. When Avery world is falling apart he is there. You see a soft side in him. He comes to her rescue’s more than once and you can’t help but root for them. And work together to see who wants to destroy the Ice Lords. A traitor is amongst them and they must work together to figure out who the threat is. You’ll literally be on edge of your seat with all the twist and turns.
This story has it all, especially when Callan, Avery and Sebastian become more. This story has it all suspense, mystery, chemistry off the charts and so much more. I can’t wait to see how everything will unfold in the end.

i LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE sebastian so much 🥹 seeing their relationship dynamic grow throughout the book had me GASPING for air UGH I LOVE THEM UR HONOR 👩⚖️
avery remains the badass she is, and just watching her deal with everything life is throwing at her makes me feel for her but she always takes it in stride and comes back stronger.
this book took me for LOOPS, it definitely kept me on my toes wondering what was next and who was involved … i will say i truly was not expecting that ending.
