another read for political ecology. i think this book was written pretty well but i don't know if i agree with its arguments. so against enterprising nature (took me awhile to realize that she was too), but i also dont know if her conclusion rlly gives a great resolve to all the problems she brings up in the book.

This book is incredibly readable, even for those with no background in economics or biodiversity-related disciplines.

I would have been more interested in the actual anatomy of the financial products/projects named in the book than the intergovermental struggle around them...
