THIS MANGA OHHHHOHOHOH!!! Man I can rant for hours that Kaneki didn't deserve what he got! The plot is so amazing! I was so wrapped up in the story that I didn't notice the gore at some points. And the end of the anime. Oh man I literally broke down at how sad it was! It was totally off from the manga's ending but still fantastic! And the sequel Tokyo Ghoul: RE hooked me just as fast, because it continues where it left off (kind of there's a gap of three years) and the un-answered questions bett ...more

Battle scenes were not that interesting to me. What is interesting was Seido 's words in testament. "I don't want to die." Who wants tough?
Also, I felt sorry for Juuzo. Such a terrible past. (

Juusou... Pobre "mascota humana" ...

Am I not in the mood for this manga or has it really become less exciting? The fighting sequences aren't interesting, honestly besides juuzou backstory, Kaneki's panels and Touka's part there's nothing that caught my attention.

Really good fight scenes and some emotional story going on. The art is great as well.
It was a little lacking in plot though for me.

This volume begins with the backstory of Suzuya, the psychopathic ghoul hunter, and how he wasn't completely the psychopath we thought he was. Like Kaneki, he was tortured, albeit at a much younger age, which fashioned his personality into one that didn't care about the meaning of life; being a scrapper for the ghouls, he constantly had to chase and hunt humans, so it's no wonder he had a killer streak in him. But what I don't get is why he takes such relish in killing ghouls specifically; he st ...more

This volume is in the almost end part of Tokyo Ghoul Season 2, no wonder they haven't done any progress to Season 3 yet because the publication is quite slow.
Anyway, on this volume the Anteku Coffee Shop has finally revealed its true identity. F

Apperantly the main staff are the ones who are quite the troublesome before like that of the kind and quite manager (who appeared to be the Owl). It's full of action and fan guy worty of fight scenes so I totaly recommend this to be read or watched by die

This ending was certainly not what I was expecting from such a long series. But it certainly is a tragedy... The fact that Kaneki ended up like this certainly intrigued me, but it just makes the story better. Tokyo Ghoul is my favourite manga/anime of all time, but seeing it end so soon makes me sad. I'm just glad that there's still a continuation of this story. I definitely recommend this story to everyone I know.

"I'm not the protagonist of a novel or anything. I'm just a collage student that likes to read, like you could find anywhere... But, if for arguments sake, you were to write a story with me in the lead role, it certainly would be... A tragedy."

Damn right it was. Hit me right in the kotroro.
That plot twist at the end though- confusing much?

Interesting feeling: I both want to read the next and 'last' volume and don't want to read it. The chances that they will all stop fighting seem slim, to say the least.

I do have to say that I don't like what Kaneki is doing here because it is extremely stupid and self-righteous.

A few more scenes in this volume and really interesting to read. I honestly don't want to read the next volume as its the last...But I do at the same time because I want to find out what happens! I hope there's a next season or something...
