In my excitement for the upcoming 100 year Girl Scout Jamboree celebration, I pulled out my handy camping book. I bought this last year for $1 at the used bookstore in the library. This is a great reference. It covers every possible issue you might encounter while planning for a camping trip as well as the trip itself. There are sections on preparing for your trip, food, recipes, gear, checklists, set up at the site, things to do while camping, fishing info, star gazing, this book has it all. I'm definitely going to pack it in with my gear this time around!
