This structured Early Readers takes us on a journey with Otto, an alien child who joins regular 4th class kids in Earth school. Because he is new to Earth he doesn’t understand metaphors or figures of speech and soon his classmates sense that he is different. This causes some friction with a couple of his classmates though it seems like his unusual way will actually become quite useful during the school’s treasure hunt.
A useful book for literacy and teaching purposes though plot and illustrations are not particularly outstanding outside of those parameters.

We’re so happy to hear you liked the book, “Oh, Otto!” we have learned with otto it is okay to make mistakes because that is the only way we learn. Like otto, you do not always risk doing something wrong, and if you get it wrong, you can always try it again. Use this lesson to keep on learning and growing, whether it is riding your bike, drawing, or doing your homework. Love, Your Mom and dad
