I love this children's book! From what I remember, my mom first started reading it to me when I was four, so it's a long-held tradition to read it during the Christmas season.
The story follows the little girls, Elizabeth and Laurie as they go to pick out the perfect Christmas tree and later decorate it with their mom and dad.
As they decorate it, the parents explain to the girls what the different ornaments represent and why they are chosen.
It's a beautifully illustrated book that keeps you focused on the most important reason for Christmas: Jesus.
